Tyger7
INTRODUCTION: In Rage, there are various things to collect and do in order to get certain achievements. This guide will show you where every one of them is, in order as you should be collecting them. If you stray out of order (besides the jumps) then you may lose out on something. Cards: These are the bulk of the collectibles. They appear as a little brown box. You get to use these in a card mini-game in Wellspring and Subway Town. Jumps: There are 11 on disc 1 and 7 on disc 2. They can be obtained any time except the last two which are during the last quest. There is a little blue hovering drones above the jumps to indicate it is a jump. Schematics/Recipes: These are quest and side-quest related. They are almost all purchased or given to you. There is the rare chance yo collect one or a part for one. Warnings/Notes: These are important. Look ahead and read them before going too far in the game. THINGS TO DO NOT LISTED IN GUIDE There are two boards you should check often. In the town of Wellspring there is a quest board and one in Subway Town. Check these after every main quest mission Always have a few Lock Grinders in your inventory at all times In the later quests, it's a good idea to keep stock of EMP grenades Resupply your ammo before missions Do all races in Wellspring and Subway Town Warnings about certain collectibles: Card 6 is obtained in Outrigger Settlement. It is on the couch by Janus and can only be collected for a limited time. Once you progress the story too far, you can no longer get inside the small town. Note: However, some people have managed to jump over the wall and still grab it. Recipe 2 Adrenaline Overdrive can only be obtained by a side mission in Outrigger Settlement. If you do not obtain this and progress the story too far, you will never have a chance to get it again. Card 31 is only available once in Dead City Cards 32-33 are obtained in Dead City. You only have two chances to get these, so get them on your first try. After going through the city in reverse, you will no longer have access to them. Card 31 requires an RC Car Bomb to collect. If for some reason you don't have one, you can find the pieces nearby. Cards 34 and 35 are obtained in The Well in Wellspring. During the mission, you must collect these. You no longer have access to this area after the mission. Cards 36-42 are obtained in the Authority Prison. You cannot return once you leave this area, so they are missable. Specifically watch out for card 42. You must have a Lock Grinder to get it. If you don't bring one, and can't make one inside, then you will have to play the entire game again or load a previous save if you have one. Schematic 14 is in the Authority Prison. You only have one chance to get this. Card 43 can only be obtained in the 2nd visit of Dead City (Dead City in reverse). Other Cards have been reported to be in areas that are blocked off after leaving (example: one card in Wasted Garage). Areas that you must worry about (close off, no longer have access to) -Outrigger Settlement: Closes after story progression. -Dead City: You go through this area only twice, then it closes for good. -Dead City Reverse: There is one card that only appears in the second visit to Dead City. -The Mine: After doing the quest for this area, it is closed off for good. -Authority Prison: After doing the quest for this area, it is closed off for good. -After Quests: Once you get too far in the game (doing the Authority Bridge quests) you will no longer be able to talk to certain people or compete in races. COLLECTIBLE GUIDE -Haggar Settlement- This is a small settlement. One mini-game you will want to do is the one with Loosum. She is outside. She will teach you about Wingsticks. Collector Card 1/54: Dan Location: Hagar Settlement Quest: None Once Hagar tells you about a quest he wants you to go on, you'll get your first gun. Look across the diner to the people there (one laying, one sitting). To the left of the empty bed on the nightstand is the first card. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Dan.jpg Collector Card 2/54: Grenade Location: Hagar Settlement Quest: None Before leaving on your quest, go outside of the garage area and head straight. As you make your way through, you'll fight a total of 2 bandits before this item. After killing the second bandit, you'll go through a hallway. At the end of that hallway is a platform of sorts that has the card on it. It looks like a little box. This is right next to a door that has a metal square statue. You can grab it here, or go all the way around and ramp to get it. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/GhostBonestick.jpg Collector Card 5/54: Ghost Boss Location: Ghost Hideout Quest: Quell the Bandit Threat Given By: Dan Hagar Head to where the square statue is described above. This place closes the gate later. Collector Card 6/54: Janus Location: Outrigger Settlement Quest: Medical Supplies Given By: Dan Hagar Dan will have you go get medical supplies. You must take the list to Janus. Once you get to her, look on the couch across from her. Warning: This town gets locked off as you play through the story. There is no excuse not to pick this one up, as you will be literally right next to it twice and it's very obvious. Do not forget about this one. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Janus.jpg Collector Card 7/54: Turret Location: Wasteland Quest: Radio Tower Repair/Where's Juno Given By: Rikter/Janus While going on this quest, the first 2 enemies you see are just walking/standing around casually. Go inside the small room and it's on the chair. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Turret.jpg Collector Card 8/54: Rikter Location: Wasteland Quest: Radio Tower Repair/Where's Juno Given By: Rikter/Janus You'll get to a small building which was up a hill. Once inside, kill the 2 fast enemies there. You'll see Juno's Remains. Continue on for Radio Tower Repair. You'll find a ladder leading up. The card is on the left side of the room that the ladder is in. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Rikter.jpg Recipe - Bandages (1/19) Earned after turning in Where's Juno quest to Janus in Outrigger Settlement Recipe - Adrenaline Overdrive (2/19) Earned after turning in the sidequest that Ramos gives you for setting off some fireworks. WARNING: This area of the game gets closed off. You will want to do this before going on much further. If you forget, you will be forced to play the whole game again. Recipe - Lock Grinder (3/19) Obtained in the Outrigger Settlement while doing the quest for Johan. It's story related and you do not have to worry about missing it. Collector Card 9/54: Wasted Club Location: Wasted Garage Quest: Find The Buggy Parts Given By: Durar Once you get through the door with the electric sparking lock, head down the stairs. After dispatching the enemies, look to the right of where you came down. You'll see a staircase (there's a barricade and a burning barrel underneath it). You could have done this jump anytime, but this time you'll have more turbo and be familiar with where it is. This is the jump you likely thought "would" be a jump. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Jump1.jpg Jump 2/18: Butterfly in the Sky Right near the first jump, you'll see another floating device. The overpass is broken and you'll see the base is on a rocky area. Use that area to jump at an angle. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/butterflyjump.jpg Jump 3/18: Tiger Jump As you head to Wellspring from Hagar Settlement, right when you go through the gate you had to blow up, turn right and stay to your left. You can get this after you talk to the mayor and obtain a new quest. Jump 5/18: Mini Gap On your way way north of the Wasteland (doing the Mayor's quests), you'll see this obvious jump to your left. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Minigap.jpg Collector Card 21/54: Shrouded Minigun Location: Wasteland Quest: Feltrite Crater Given By: Mayor Clayton When you reach the area you have to explore for the quest, you will see a shack in front of a drill. Next to the shack is a storage container that is open. Run inside and grab it in the back. It's a little bit hard to see since it's dark. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/ShroudedMinigun.jpg Jump 6/18: Leap of Faith Doing quests for the Mayor, you'll have have to deliver a sample of feltrite. Now would be a good time to get a couple jumps out of the way. This area looks more city like and has ramps. Go up the first ramp you see in the middle for a jump. Warning: You may die if you don't land correctly! http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Leapoffaith.jpg Jump 7/18: Highway Hop Go up the other ramp that leads up the overpass. Once you get up, do a U-Turn and stay in the left part of the highway. You'll see a building that looks like a robot head (sort of). Drive off the cliff to the right of the tall rock. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/sciencemakesyoucrazy.jpg Note: You can get the jumps whenever you want. This jump is being taken now because you will land where your quest is. Along this same route, you might have noticed another jump that will be obtained later on when heading that direction. Collector Card 22/54: Sentry Bot Location: Wasteland Quest: Feltrite Sample Given By: Mayor Clayton You will be tasked to use a Com. Box to contact Kvasir. At the foot of the ramp to the bridge, look left to see the mailbox. Look a little more left and you'll see it on the ground by some plants in front of a big flat rock. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/SentryBot.jpg -Mutant Bash TV- This is a great area to get various kill achievements. You may play this as many times as you want. I suggest doing them later on when you have advanced versions of some of the schematics. This will make the achievements much easier. By now you should known the various areas pretty well. Take in mind, these field goals are all out of boundries and you must launch yourself by hitting the wall in front of them. This drive is more dangerous than the rest. Speed as fast as you can. When a route splits two ways, one going down and one staying level, go down. You will want to avoid the bandit there. Once at North Watch Tower, just look off the cliff and you'll see it, like the others. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/fieldgoal3.jpg Jump 11/18: In the Basket This could have easily been obtained at any time. Right when going through the gate you blew up (coming from Hagar Settlement), you'll see this on the left side. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/inthebasketjump.jpg Collector Card 30/54: Enforcer Location: In front of entrance to Dead City Quest: Defibrillator Upgrade Given By: Mayor Clayton Head to the Dead City Entrance as indicated on your mini map. If you miss this collectible, you will have to complete the entire game again (getting all collectibles, again). http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/shieldguard.jpg As soon as you exit the Authority Prison, you can no longer return. Collector Card 42/54: Elizabeth Location: Second Chance Bar (Wellspring) Quest: Liberate Captain Marshall Given By: Elizabeth When you are on your way back to Elizabeth and Captain Marshall, you will see this very obvious collectible as you go down stairs in the back. This only opened up when you were able to talk to Elizabeth to advance the storyline. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/elizabeth.jpg Collector Card 43/54: Drone Location: Dead City (2nd Visit) Quest: Lost Research Data Given By: Captain Marshall During your 2nd visit (only time to get this) to Dead City, you'll be going backwards. This means you start off in the lab area. You'll find yourself in the wide open area and enemies will rush through doors. Pass the Drones and go down the escalator. Right at the bottom, follow around to the right and you'll see the card on a table. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/drone.jpg This is the last collectible for Disc 1. See below for details on how complete you should be before turning in that quest. Edited October 20, 2011 by Tyger7

Don't use the hill there, continue and go left to the freeway entrance. Still stay to the left of and you'll see where to drop off. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/bunnyhop.jpg Jump 14/18: Over the Hill Go the same route as last jump, but stick to the right. You'll see the jump on the left. This one is also very easy. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/overthehill.jpg Jump 15/18: Shock and Awe Take the same route again, but continue on instead to the power plant. You will see a cliff area to your right with a jump. Go to the power plant doors and climb up to the right with your car. Then just speed off the cliff. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/shockaneawe.jpg Edited October 19, 2011 by Tyger7
Tyger7
Jump 16/18: In The Gear Back to the power plant, now do the easy jump to the left of the entrance. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/inthegears.jpg Collector Card 50/54: Monarch Location: Power Plant entrance Quest: The Price of Power Given By: Redstone Right before you enter the Power Plant for your mission, pick this up (to the right of the door). http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/Monacrh.jpg Collector Card 51/54: Gearhead Boss Location: Power Plant entrance Quest: The Price of Power Given By: Redstone This is at the end of the quest. After using the 3 switches to activate traps against the enemies, head to where the exit is (the enter to wasteland door). To your left is a door that leads up some stairs. Follow it up and when you get to the top, just look to your right in the cabinets. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/gearheadboss.jpg Collector Card 52/54: Jackal Crossbow Location: Jackal Canyon Quest: Ark Equipment Given By: Lassard As soon as you enter Jackal Canyon (going through the door at the start), look to your left. It's up on a box. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/jackalcrossbow.jpg Collector Card 53/54: Jackal Club Location: Jackal Canyon Quest: Ark Equipment Given By: Lassard You'll get to a bridge and on the right is a giant structure with enemies on it (that you would normally think to snipe). At the end of the bridge is a lever to open a gate and near that lever is the card. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/jackalclub.jpg INTERMISSION Before accepting the next missions, it's a great idea to make a backup save. Go finish everything else in the game that you have left before you continue. Once you start doing these last missions, things will stop being accessible. Collector Card 54/54: Elite Guard Location: Authority Bridge Quest: Assault the Authority Bridge Given By: Portman Once you get to the area of the bridge, you will take a lift up. From the lift go left and you'll see a generator you are supposed to plant explosives on. Behind the boxes near that generator is your last card. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/eliteguard.jpg Jump 17/18: Off the Dune After you cross the Authority Bridge, continue on and keep an eye out to the right. You should see the jump there. Go around to the back of the hill to make the jump. Note: This jump is only available after the Authority Bridge mission. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/offthedune.jpg Jump 18/18: Near the Heart Also after crossing the bridge, continue from the last jump looking to your left. You will see the little base where the cars come from. Go on the small path to the right of it (almost touching the base). Now you can just fly off the ledge for your last jump. Note: This jump is only available after the Authority Bridge mission. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd355/tygrt7/Rage/naertheheart.jpg Edited October 18, 2011 by Tyger7

Chanens417
The guide is Awesome! However, I think it may also be helpful to indicate which collectibles are missable in case anyone doesn't want to follow the guide 100% of the time.

rrushn
Heads up for the Large Mutant card in Dead City Streets... If you go the Dead City for your second time, you will NOT be able to pick up this card. The barricaded room, which you enter by sending an RC car through a pipe, is not so barricaded anymore on your second visit since you need to go there to power down a generator to continue. The generator is right next to the red metal toolbox thingie where the card should be and it is not. I finished up in Dead City and returned to Wellspring to check my deck, in case I did pick it up earlier (or so I hoped), and ofcourse, the large mutant card is nowhere to be found. In conclusion, this means that you MUST complete the RC car sidequest before entering the Dead City for the first time, or you WILL miss this achievement. Edit: I just loaded up an earlier save, after the first mission to DC, but before the second one, and it seems that you're able to enter DC and pick it up like this. So if you're like me, and didn't have any RC at hand on your first mission, be sure to visit it once more before going on your second mission there. fastNcurious
Heads up for the Large Mutant card in Dead City Streets... If you go the Dead City for your second time, you will NOT be able to pick up this card. Hey, can you give a description of where you're supposed to send the RC car to get this card? One of the guides say after you beat the launcher mutant (let this point in time be "A"). Another one says after you pass the part where mutants crawl out of the apartment and after molatovs are being flung at you (let this point in time be "B"). Is it located somewhere near A? Between A and B? After B? Cuz after B is the tentacle mutant. Thanks in advance. Edit: So it's right after point B, but before the tentacle mutant. If you're in the second big mutant fight of this section, then you've gone too far. Edited October 6, 2011 by fastNcurious

Thank goodness for multiple save files. It's right before the tentacle mutant, next to some stairs you need to take to advance. These stairs lead to an office of some sort, with computers in it. After blowing up the barricade, you need to find some other stairs in that room to get to the previously barricaded door.
