Drias
So last night, my friend, Grave and I were playing and we killed a boss that dropped demonite for us. He picked it up and made me a nightmare pick axe since he had some shadow scales on him. When he went to make it, he dropped his Demonite axe and went to make the pickaxe, and his internet went out. After it came back on, he came back in and he was losing his shit. He had another Demonite axe in his inventory. He said same spot and everything. I looked at it, and all the stats were the same, even the name "Keen" was there. Thoughts?
recursive213
Yeah, you can dupe. We found a flawless tactic to do it yesterday.

waxc3
Most probably drop all items (to your co-op friend), then dashboard.
uMAD at ohdavey
i can confirm that THAT method did not work for me and a friend. i dropped a vodoo dall and then dash'd and i rejoined i still had it but my buddy could not pick it up.
sorrow313
that is a lag issue not a dupe issue there is a rly sure fire way to dupe but u have to have a certain item to do it from what i have done
K4rn4ge
Actually, it's quite easy to dupe. Here's the process: 1. The host creates an online game. 2. Host manually saves game before anything is changed. 3. Host turns off auto-save option in menu. 3. Another online player joins the game. 4. That player (NOT the host) takes whatever they want from the host, his/her treasure chests, etc. 5. That player (NOT the host) saves game and quits. 6. Host ends game and when it prompts you, make sure you choose the option that says quit/exit WITHOUT saving. 7. Once host starts up a new online game, everything that the second player took should be there again plus the second player will have everything they took as well. sorrow313
or u just use the glitched magic wand it kicks everyone in a certain radius much easyer then save and what not
recursive213
or u just use the glitched magic wand it kicks everyone in a certain radius much easyer then save and what not Bump^ but now you've told everybody and ruined it for everybody to spam duplication. Good job bro. There's a reason I never said.
ZosKiaCultus
Bump^ but now you've told everybody and ruined it for everybody to spam duplication. Good job bro. There's a reason I never said. First off, not everyone wants to dupe. Ruins the experience of the game for a lot of us. Second off, I'll be passing it on to everyone I know that plays the game just to spite you. Double V 1986
Hope the duping doesn't get out of control it ruined minecraft for me.
waxc3
I always liked it borderlands and wouldn't mind sharing items with a friend in this. Wouldn't "ruin" our experience one bit.
recursive213
First off, not everyone wants to dupe. Ruins the experience of the game for a lot of us. Second off, I'll be passing it on to everyone I know that plays the game just to spite you. Doesn't bother me. It just ruined Minecraft. It will easily ruin this. Andreas_loel
Yet another game to get ruined by duping. The concept of earning your shit is unfamiliar to everyone. BL2 got boring for this exact reason, but hey i guess people that think this is fine dont qq when others cheat in other ways. No need to earn anything anymore just use horizon/modio etc and enjoy
waxc3
Rolls eyes at vauge generalities. My game isn't at all boring. I have found every item on my own and enjoyed Blands2 just fine even with the weapons given to me.
AtomFire
Duplicating doesn't ruin games if you don't do it. If someone is doing it on your game then quit, simple as.

arthriticned
The host doesnt have to quit out at all. Any non-host player fills inventory with whatev then pause and save. As soon as its done saving, dump your contents in a chest/on ground and dashboard. Simple and quick. Host can keep map loaded the whole time. Sixgun
Actually Dashboarding does work. Host a game and invite a friend. Have your friend put gear in box then dash. We did it a dozen times without fail.
noremac321
Trying to understand why some people thinks it 'ruins' the game. How I play in my world literally has 0 effect on yours, so what is ruined? I like getting to play around with some of the items my friend duped for me that took him over 100 hours to get, but I can't dedicate that much time to getting them myself. I already played through most of the game the 'right' way, now I'm enjoying myself with these duped items, neither of which impacted your playing experience in any way.
