Lord Forbes
The roadmap for the original game states the difficulty does not affect achievements. However, the roadmap for Knife of Dunwall states that difficulty DOES affect achievements. Has anyone completed this on Easy and gotten the achievements? McGoogles
Difficulty has no affect on any of the achievements. I'll have it fixed.
Lord Forbes
Thank you. After the horrid Trials DLC I was concerned they did not list all the requirements and I would have to do it three times instead of two. Thank you for making the guide. Fragarach Luin
Realistically, the difficulty has little to no effect on the gameplay. If you're charging around swinging your sword, it's not that much easier on easy. I will say that difficulty in The Knife of Dunwall can be significant if you decide to do a High Chaos run on Master Assassin difficulty, because stealthy or not, the game will force you to fight someone at the very end, and it's extremely difficult on the hardest difficulty. I believe you die in a single hit, two at most. So be prepared for some frustration.
