Weapon 117
Our brothers from IGN Australia found out that the Australian Classification Board has finally given a rating to F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, thus allowing Warner Bros. to sell the game in the land down under: After the game was refused classification by the Australian Classification Board in November, on the grounds of 'high violence', Warner Bros. appealed the decision and submitted the game to the Australian Classification Review Board. After reviewing the material, the ACRB agreed F.E.A.R. 2 deserved a MA15+ rating. Best of all, the game will be released in its original state - with no modifications being necessary. KemicalSupreme
Doesnt Austrila ban everything. Wasnt DeadSpace banned? Why in the world would that game be banned? Its not scary or very violent. All the things you can do on there are to aliens. Not humans.
bloodswan
Doesnt Austrila ban everything. Wasnt DeadSpace banned? Why in the world would that game be banned? Its not scary or very violent. All the things you can do on there are to aliens. Not humans. Dead Space was never banned but Silent Hill Homecoming was but that has been overturned also. The problem is basically one man, Michael Atkinson who refuses to allow an R 18+ rating for games.
Eternal
Fallout 3 was initially banned but overturned, Silent Hill, as the above poster said, and a couple of others...
