The achievement guide is now complete and has been submitted to the main site. I will still update the guide if necessary and correct any errors. Any help will be appreciated as well as credited in the “Credits” section.

WARNING: This guide WILL contain spoilers, I keep them to a minimum wherever possible, but some cannot be helped. This is you one and only warning.

Introduction:

The purpose of this section is to explain how and when to unlock each of the achievements in Infinite Undiscovery.

The game has 50 achievements worth 1000 GS, there are no online achievements, and the game will require at least 3 playthroughs if you want the full 1000 GS. The 8 achievements listed under the "Storyline Achievements" section are unmissable. The remaining achievements are for completing various storyline tasks that can be missed, leveling your characters IC skills, making specific items, collecting items, and several achievements gained for fighting.

Summary:

- Does difficulty affect achievements: Yes

Some people have reported a glitch with the "Stalwart" achievement details can be found here

(LINK).

Normal Playthrough:

You can unlock a maximum of 969 achievement points in this playthrough, so this is where you should be getting the majority of your points.

The only achievements that you cannot unlock in this playthrough are the “Cherubic Gatekeeper” and “Seraphic Gatekeeper” achievements.

The "Compulsive" achievement requires you to have every item in the game at least once, this includes all the items dropped by enemies, bought in shops, unique items from bosses, chest, sidequests etc. If you intend to get the full 1000 GS you may want to leave this achievement until the Infinity playthrough, as you will want the best equipment available on that difficulty. This achievement can be unlocked on Normal or Hard if you prefer.

Near the start of the game you will be given the Emblazoned Sword, DO NOT SELL it as it is required for the "Hephaestus's Hammer" and "Compulsive" achievements.

Complete the achievements listed in the "Fighting Achievements" section as soon as you can, none of these achievements can be missed, and in most cases are easier to complete during the end game.

Follow the "Optional Achievements" section as you play the game, the achievements listed here are in the order you will encounter them.

Once you reach Port Zala at the start of disk two work your way through all of the "Skill Achievements" section, this is the best place in the game for materials, many of which will NOT be available as easily after leaving Port Zala for Kolton.

Once you complete the games main storyline you will unlock the teleporter in Kolton Palace, that allows you to access the Seraphic Gate.

Note: There is no achievement for completing the Seraphic Gate on Normal, but there IS for completing on the Hard and Infinity difficulties, so you may want to leave the achievements that require the Seraphic gate until those playthroughs.

If you decide to enter the Seraphic Gate now you can unlock all of the achievements listed in the "Crafting Achievements" and "Collection Achievements" sections, or you can leave these achievements until your Hard or Infinity playthroughs.

Hard Playthrough:

You will only need to unlock one achievement for this difficulty, this is also a good time to unlock any achievements you missed on your Normal playthrough.

Note: You will need to complete the game on Normal to unlock this difficulty.

- Cherubic Gatekeeper - 30 GS

This achievement requires you to defeat the final boss of the Seraphic Gate on the Hard difficulty, this achievement does NOT stack with the "Seraphic Gatekeeper" achievement.

Infinity Playthrough:

You will only need to unlock one achievement for this difficulty.

Note: You will need to complete the game on Hard to unlock this difficulty.

- Seraphic Gatekeeper - 1 GS

This achievement requires you to defeat the final boss of the Seraphic Gate on the Infinity difficulty, this achievement does NOT stack with the "Cherubic Gatekeeper" achievement.

- "Compulsive" - Requires every item in the game including the items from the Seraphic Gate. You can unlock this on any difficulty with the exception of Easy if you prefer.

All of the following achievements can be missed, this is only a summary check the rest of the guide for specific details.

- "Artistic" - Requires you to learn all tunes, to do this you will need to collect Notations. The Concerto, Suite, and Capriccio Notations are all Missable, check the "Artistic" guide for specific information.

The following vouchers can be downloaded (for free) from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The vouchers are not available in some regions so the guide will make reference to them but will explain how to get achievements without them.

Optional Achievements:

These achievements must all be completed during specific parts of the game; all of them can be missed, and some will give you in-game benefits when accomplished, such as experience, money, or items. These achievements are listed in the order that you will encounter them.

Note: These achievements can be unlocked on any difficulty, though many will be easier to complete on the Easy or Normal difficulty levels.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+JkEmQ==.jpg Barrel of Lulz - 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Detonate all the barrels in prison.

Destroy all of the barrels during the escape from Graad prison at the beginning of the game. This can be done after Vembert falls off the edge, but must be done BEFORE leaving the prison through the door by the save point.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+scRyw==.jpg On the Run - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Deliver Aya to the village without getting hurt.

After passing through the Graad Woods you will need to take Aya to a town called Nolaan, to get this achievement you will need to accomplish this whilst taking no damage. This section is split into two parts:

The first will have you and several other characters moving through the Graad Woods, you cannot fight at this point and must rely on the other characters, this part is very easy just follow them and keep a good distance from any enemies.

The second part has you avoiding a dragon that is trying to kill you with fireballs. For this part you most stay behind cover whenever possible, starting with the ruins on the left of your starting position. Just wait for gaps in the dragons attacks and then run to the next piece of cover continue doing this until you reach the village.

You will have a save point before starting this section so don’t worry too much about getting hit, as you can load your game if necessary. Take your time and this shouldn't’t take more than a few attempts.

Video Demonstration:

There is also a glitch during this part of the game that will allow you to cause the dragon to face in the wrong direction. This can take numerous attempts to work.

Use machines of war to destroy your foes.

To get this achievement you must kill 10 enemy soldiers using the catapults when attacking Prevant Castle, this is your only chance to get this achievement so do NOT destroy the castle gates until you have this achievement.

The easiest targets to hit are the enemies on the walls as they will not move, they are constantly replaced when killed so pick an enemy hold down the fire button, fire, then adjust how much power you put into the shot until you are able to kill the enemy. Once you have the power required figured out, rinse and repeat until you have 10 Kills.

Note: When you are in the catapults you are invincible, but the catapult is not, when it is destroyed it will quickly be replaced by another, so just move between catapults as they are destroyed until you have the achievement, then destroy the castle gates to move on.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+scRyw==.jpg Capell to the Rescue - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Rescue the imprisoned

For this achievement you need to rescue four allied soldiers from the four cells in Castle Prevant. It doesn’t matter if the prisoners are killed, as long as you saved them from their cells before they died.

WARNING:

As soon as you destroy the castle gates, and enter the castle the time limit starts. Make sure you save outside the castle, so you can go back and level or buy items if needed.

You will need Sunstones for this achievement they can be bought in the castle or at the Nolaan General Store. You may also want to stock up on Miraculous Medicine and any other healing items you can afford. Leveling your characters will help as well. I would suggest you try for this achievement on the Easy difficulty, as the enemies will do significantly less damage making it much easier to survive.

Time Limit:

The time limit allows you 4 minutes per soldier, so you will have 4 minutes to save the first soldier, 8 minutes to save the second, 12 to save the third, and 16 to save the fourth soldier. At the end of each of these 4 minute intervals a soldier is killed.

If ANY soldier dies before you rescue them you will NOT get the achievement.

Map:

A map including the location of all cells, keys, and treasure chests, routes 1 to 5 show where to go for each Cell Key and how to rescue each soldier.

(Castle Prevant - Map)

Note: You will need some Iron Metal and Marble for the fourth key. Iron Metal this is dropped by the Order Servants make sure you get 1 piece at some point whilst going through the Castle. Marble is dropped by the Gargoyles, or can be more easily found in chest 9. If you have the "A Voucher" downloaded from the Xbox Live Marketplace you can buy both items from Genma.

Route 1 (Red):

Follow Route 1 to the southern room to find the first Cell Key, now head to Cell 1 and release the prisoner. Make sure to walk into the room after opening it.

Route 2 (Yellow):

Follow Route 2 to find a guard, kill him and use the cell key he drops to open Cell 2.

Route 3 (Blue):

Follow Route 3 to the mouse making sure to follow the map carefully to avoid any traps. Surprise and kill the Gargoyle by the mouse and then connect to Rico and speak to the mouse to get the third Cell Key.

Route 4 (Green):

Follow Route 4 until you arrive at the second dark corridor where you will need to surprise three gargoyles, the best way to do this is using Aya’s Ravaging Raptor connect skill, you don’t need to kill them after surprising them, just attack them to disable their traps. This is a good opportunity to get Marble if you haven't already. You can also hug the wall opposite the gargoyles to bypass their traps completely, saving you some time.

Tip: The next route will take you to Edward who can forge the forth Cell Key, he is however able to craft as many keys as required, so if necessary you can skip talking to the mouse with Rico and head straight for Edward.

Route 5 (Orange):

Once you have Edward in the party have him create the fourth Cell Key, then save your game on a new slot. Now head all the way back to the cells, and open Cell 3 and Cell 4, it doesn’t matter if your party is killed on the way back as long as Capell makes it.

Video Demonstration:

This is a demonstration of a glitch for opening Cell 3 without using a Key. This is something that I've observed happen, but is difficult to replicate.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+scRyw==.jpg Guardian - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Deliver the villagers without letting any of them perish.

You will start this achievement as part of the storyline.

For this achievement you will need to escort around a dozen unblessed villages, back to Sapran village from just outside of Fayel. Each of the villages will have a health bar and can be damaged. You will fail the achievement if any of the unblessed die, and get a game over if they all die. They can be damaged any amount and the achievement will still unlock, but none can die.

You will not have to escort the villages all the way back to Sapran, only to just west of the save point in this area, Rico and Rucha will escort them the rest of the way back to Sapran.

Try to clear out as many of the enemies in the area as you can without straying too far from the villages, and be careful as it is possible for enemies to spawn behind the villages, so if they start yelling check the area immediately. The villages will be following a set route so just stay with them until you notice a group of enemies, and you should get through this without much trouble.

Note: The enemies in this area do respawn.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+scRyw==.jpg For the Children - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Rescue the child before he gets hurt.

You will start this achievement as part of the storyline.

The child this achievement is referring to is Leif, who is surrounded by three “Swamp Serpents” and a “Narbear”. You will start this achievement just after reaching the safe point during the “Guardian” achievement.

This one can be tricky and has a degree of luck to it, but basically you want to attack the enemies to keep their attention on you, start with the snake on the right using “Cutting Gavotte” (Battle Skill) as this will keep it in the air whilst you and Aya attack it, once it is dead move to the two snakes on the left. If the snakes get close together use “Dancing Rhapsody” (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.pnghttp://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.pnghttp://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.pnghttp://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/b.png), you should be able to hit them all with this attack, keep attacking until they are all dead. Then focus on the bear until it is dead.

I had my party set to “Focus” for this fight so that Aya would focus on what I was attacking, this way I could kill the snakes faster. Try wherever possible to fight away from Leif so that he doesn’t get caught in the crossfire, and block the snake’s route to him when you are fighting them.

Note: I found that the snakes would often go straight for Leif, whilst the bear would attack my characters, so focus on the snakes before going for the bear. Also despite what Aya says it is impossible for you to hurt Leif.

Once you have defeated the bear and the three snakes, Leif will be grabbed by a “Garuda”; you will now have a time limit before it flies away with Leif, which will cause a Game Over screen. To unlock the achievement you most connect to Aya and use her “Ravaging Raptor” skill to shoot the “Garuda”, it will then drop Leif and the achievement will unlock.

This achievement is likely to take several attempts.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+JkEmQ==.jpg Reckless Driver - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Use the carts in the mine.

You will unlock this achievement for killing ten enemies in the Bihar Mines using the mine carts. Bihar Mines is a completely optional area, you do not need to enter the Mines at all for the storyline. The Mines can be entered either from the Oradian Dunes or the Oradian Mountains.

Note: This must be done in one trip through the mines, as leaving and then re-entering will wipe the number of kills so far.

I found it very easy to get this achievement when entering from the Oradian Mountains (reached from Fayel), immediately in front of you when you enter the mine there will be a mine cart, stand behind it and wait about 5 seconds and three enemies will walk onto the tracks. Hit the mine with any attack and it will run into all three killing them instantly.

Then on the left (of the entrance) about midway down the tunnel is a call pipe examine this and a large group of enemy will run out of the door, run to back to the mine cart (now at the other end of the tunnel) and hit it again whilst they are on the tracks (be careful as this can kill your characters as well), there are enough enemies for the achievement to unlock. If the achievement doesn’t unlock either run out of the mine and come back in to try again, or move further into the mine and kill a few more enemies using the mine carts.

This achievement can be first unlocked whilst you are on the way to Port Zala, and can be unlocked at any point after this, even after completing the game you can come back here and unlock the achievement during the end game.

This achievement cannot be missed.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+scRyw==.jpg The Tide of Battle - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Watch out for the tsunami.

For this achievement you are required to defeat the Order Knight Niedzielan and destroy the Cerulean Chain without letting any of the tidal waves hit either Capell or any of the other characters you have with you. This fight is on the Port Zala coast, so make sure to save in the port before going to the Zalan Coast.

To win this fight you will need to attack Niedzielan until he is stunned (he will kneel down) then you can attack the chain. You will need to repeat this process three times, the third time you will kill Niedzielan rather than stunning him, and will destroy the chain in one hit rather than damaging it.

During this fight tidal waves will be hitting the beach your team will warn you around 10 seconds before they hit, but I would suggest taking cover behind the rocks before this. You will know when you are taking cover as Capell will put his sword in the sand and lean over slightly.

An alternate strategy for this achievement can be found here (LINK).

Strategy:

For this fight I used Capell, Edward, and Gustav the reason for this was that they are all melee fighters and so would be able to focus attacks on Niedzielan and still be close to me (and the cover we would need to run to).

Note: None of these characters have any healing spells so make sure to stock up on healing and reviving items in Port Zala before starting this boss fight.

“The Tide of Battle” - Continued:

Tip: Use Capell's Enchant ability to put an Earth attack enchantment on your characters, this will last 10 minutes and will cause much greater damage to Niedzielan and the chain. You can buy the sandstone required from Port Zala, just remember to put the enchantment on all of your characters.

Now once the fight starts immediately kill all of the monsters in the area that are assisting Niedzielan, killing them will make the fight easier as although they don’t do much damage they will interrupt your attacks, and combos meaning that stunning Niedzielan will take longer.

Once they are dead everyone will attack Niedzielan he should go down pretty fast with everyone attacking him at once. When he does attack the chain for about 10-15 seconds and then run and hide behind one of the large rocks, make sure to put your sword away so that your allies will stop fighting and follow you.

Note: I found it best to take cover before your team mates tell you to hide as you are not given much time after they tell you to get behind cover.

Once the tidal wave has hit the beach the enemies will respawn, start by killing them, then stun Niedzielan, then attack the chain, now take cover from the tidal wave. You will need to do this one more time at which point Niedzielan will die and you can destroy the chain.

Once this is done both the “The Tide of Battle” and the “Cerulean Savior” achievements will unlock and you will receive 20,000 experience points.

Note: I spent a good amount of time trying to kill Niedzielan before attacking the chain, and now believe it is impossible to kill him until you have attacked and damaged the chain twice.

Video Demonstration:

This video shows an alternate way of getting this achievement. For this strategy you will need to have Capell at level 33 so that you can use his Reginleif battle skill. Simply keep using this skill to deal heavy damage to both Niedzielan and the chain.

Hurry to the empress.

For this achievement you need to reach the Empress's throne room in under three minutes.

You will have a timer at the top of the screen when you enter the city of Halgita. Run forward until you reach the door, then turn right. Follow the corridor around until you reach the stairs, follow the stairs to the top. Continue following the path up the small staircase, then take a left through the door and then up another staircase. Once at the top of the stairs take a right past the stairs and then approach the door on the right to unlock the achievement. Keep your sword sheathed the whole way and ignore all enemies and you shouldn't have any trouble reaching the throne room in three minutes.

Hurry to the village under attack.

For this achievement you need to reach Sapran within three minutes. After returning to Port Zala (after completing the events at Dais), you will need to head to Fayel after the events here you will need to go back to Sapran. As soon as the cutscene at the castle end you will be outside Fayel.

Put your weapon away (this makes you run faster) now follow the left wall along until you come into a large open area, now follow the right wall until you arrive in another large open area. Head northeast to another large area. Now head to the east until you arrive in the area with the Save point. From here just head south until you arrive at Sapran.

Sigmund joined your party in the Seraphic Gate.

After completing a playthrough of the game you will be asked to save the game. Now when you load up that file you will be able to access the Seraphic Gate. To get here you must go through a teleporter off to the side in Kolton Palace.

You will need to continue through the Seraphic Gate until you find yourself in the Oradian Dunes, now head as far along the Dunes as you can, you will eventually find a teleporter that leads you to Vesplume Tower. Once there you will find yourself controlling just Capell. You will now need to defeat Shadow Sigmund. Once you do he will join the party and the achievement will unlock.

Sigmund can be defeated easily by using the Grinn Valesti Battle Skill. Run towards him and attack, then move to the side to dodge his attack, then use Grinn Valesti again. Continue this several times to defeat Shadow Sigmund. If you have taken a lot of damage then sheath your weapon and run away, once you are a good distance away from Sigmund use a healing item on yourself and then continue the fight.

Note: You can only access this area on Normal or above difficulties.

Attack the enemy without being detected.

Surprise an enemy once.

See "Blitzkrieg" for more details.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+JkEmQ==.jpg Blitzkrieg - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Keep on surprising the enemy.

This achievement requires you to surprise enemies 10 times.

To surprise an enemy you must get within range without them being alerted (seeing or hearing you), and then striking them. This will make all your attacks critical attacks, increases your exp gained by 50%, and increase the odds of a rare item drop.

A good place to surprise enemies is in the Graad Woods at the beginning. Connect to Aya and then use either of her skills (Peacock Plume or Ravaging Raptor), both can be used from a good distance from your target, and will even work on the enemies that carry lights.

Using this method you should have this achievement before leaving the Graad Woods, regardless you should have this achievement easily by the end of the game.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+eAFxQ==.jpg Infinitely Unobservant - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Keep on getting surprised by the enemy.

Get surprised by the enemy 10 times to unlock this achievement.

Being surprised by the enemy will cause your AP to fall to zero, and for you to become 100% susceptible to critical hits.

The enemies most likely to surprise you will be archer enemies, making Prevant castle the first really good place for this achievement; it’s also very easy to be surprised in the dark.

You should easily have this achievement before the end of the game.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+JkEmQ==.jpg Groundbreaking - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Work on your ground combos.

For this achievement you must perform a 30-hit ground combo. I did this whilst fighting the boss Semberas at Sapran village. As with the “Aerial Acrobat” achievement, I used Capell’s “Cutting Gavotte” Skill, with my party set to “Combo”.

For this fight you will have the four characters you picked, as well as Sigmund, kill all the enemy soldiers and then focus everyone on Semberas, you shouldn't have much trouble getting this here.

Another place to easily get this achievement is on top of the Vesplume Tower, after you defeat Dimitri, you will fight Leonid. I was able to get the hits up to 60 during this fight.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+JkEmQ==.jpg Aerial Acrobat - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Work on your aerial combos.

For this achievement you need to execute a 20-hit aerial combo. To do this set your party to the “Combo” stance using http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/updpad.png and http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/downdpad.png on the D-Pad, then use Capell’s “Cutting Gavotte” Battle Skill to knock an enemy into the air, then just attack them, your party will do the same, once you hit 20 the achievement will unlock.

To set a skill hit the http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/back.png button, then the Skills tab, then the Battle Tab. Then place “Cutting Gavotte” onto both the http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.png and http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/b.png buttons.

A good place to easily get this achievement is in Vesplume Tower you will encounter “Crystal Gargoyles” as they are already flying keeping them in the air is very easy.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+JkEmQ==.jpg Down to Earth - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Work on your down strikes.

For this achievement you need to execute a 20-hit down combo.

Party:

Capell – Set Slashing Cannon to the http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.png button and Eternal Refrain to the http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/b.png button.

Aya – Set http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.png as none and http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/b.png as Snipe Arrow.

Vic – Set http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.png as none and http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/b.png as Butterfly Rush.

Komachi – Set http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.png as none and http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/b.png as Thistle.

Now set your party to “Focus” and unequip all of your weapons, by doing this you will minimize the damage you cause to the enemy allowing you more time to get the combo.

Strategy:

Once you have completed the game, load the end game save and head to the teleporter in Kolton Palace, this will take you to the Seraphic Gate, keep going through this area until you teleport into the Bihar Mines. Now just up ahead are a group of Lumpers kill them and continue on, just before the elevator there will be a door on your right. Inside this room is a Gold Chest Mimic.

Once all your skills are set attack the mimic with a Slashing Cannon to knock it to the ground then attack with Eternal Refrain. At the same time your team mates will attack with their Skills. You can also connect to one of your team mates if you want to trigger a Skill yourself.

Tip: After using the Slashing Cannon ability wait for the enemy to be half way between the highest point it reaches and the floor.

Since this strategy relies heavily on the AI to attack at the right moment. A significant amount of luck is required. However keep trying and you should get it within a few attempts.

Note: The above strategy is intended for Normal or higher difficulties; if you are playing on Easy you can use the Jewelled Cabinet Mimic in the Bihar Mines in the same way.

Take advantage of your party's skills.

For this achievement you need to connect to every character, you do not need to do anything once connected. To connect to a character walk up to them and press and hold http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/rb.png then press either http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/x.png,http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/a.png, or http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/b.png (whichever the desired characters name is next to). You are now connected, and can use their abilities. To disconnect just press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/rb.png again.

Note: You can connect to the characters in towns or in the field but certain characters can only be connected to in either the field or in towns.

WARNING: Make sure that you have connected to Sigmund BEFORE going to Vesplume Tower, as not doing so may cost you the achievement. It has been reported that you CAN use the Seraphic Gate version of Sigmund, but only if your playing on Normal or above difficulties.

There are 18 characters in total:

Main Party Characters:

Theses character can be connected to in towns or in the field.

- Capell (Doesn't count towards the achievement)

- Aya

- Rico

- Rucha

- Edward

- Eugene

- Sigmund (Connect BEFORE Vesplume Tower)

- Balbagan

- Michelle

- Gustav (Field Only)

- Vic

- Touma

- Koumachi

Secondary Characters:

These characters can only be connected to in towns.

- Savio

- Dominica

- Kiriya

- Kristopher

- Seraphina

You can have this achievement as early as before going back to Fayel on disc 2.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+JkEmQ==.jpg Hero of the Millennium - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Defeat as many enemies as you can.

You will get this achievement for killing 1,000 enemies. You should get this easily within one playthrough.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/s5.jpg Bad Influence - 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Allowed nine characters to vermify.

For this achievement you will need to have every playable party member, that is not an Aristo, Capell, or Gustav turn into a full Vermiform. The characters that can transform are:

- Aya

- Rico

- Rucha

- Edward

- Eugene

- Michelle

- Komachi

- Vic

- Balbagan

Take three of the above characters put them in your party and then remove all their weapons; this will reduce their attack strength. Now disable all their spells, to do this go into the menu select Skills and then Magic, then press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/y.png on each of the spells. Finally remove all of their battle skills, again by going into the menu selecting skills, and then Battle. Now your party members can only attack with their basic attack, which is weakened as they are not holding a weapon.

Now head out into an area that often has Lunar Rain, such as the Cobasna Timberlands and wait in the rain until your team mates begin to transform, a good place for this achievement is the area just outside of Halgita.

Once you have been standing in the Lunar Rain long enough your party will turn black, and become hostile, however they are not yet fully Vermified so find an obstacle such as a large tree and run around it to avoid their attacks. Once they become invisible they are fully Vermified. Keep doing this until all of the party is fully Vermified then head to the nearest town and switch party members.

As soon as the ninth party member fully vermifies the achievement will unlock.

Note: Different characters Vermify at different rates. You do not need to have all characters vermified at once. To remove the affects of verification simply rest at an inn.

Skill Achievements:

After leaving Port Zala by boat to get to Kolton you will not be able to access any of the stores in the areas you have been through until you come back for the storyline, at which point the stores will have changed. The following walkthroughs are meant to be used BEFORE leaving Port Zala.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/450/+yfpWA==.jpg Mister Chef - 5 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg

Improve your cooking skills!

Have any character reach IC Cooking Level 4.

See "Claridian Chef" for more details.

Keep improving your cooking skills!

Have any character reach IC Cooking Level 6, I recommend using Dominica for this achievement.

Note: This first part of the achievement can be done in Nolaan at the start of the game if you prefer, this section is only necessary if you are using Aya for the achievement.

The strategy outlined here will work for Aya or Dominica.

Once you reach Port Zala on disc two buy Fresh Milk from Faina. Now make Oradian Butter until you reach IC Level 3.

Fresh Milk x2 = Oradian Butter.

Note: Dominica starts at IC Cooking Level 3, so if you are using her for this achievement you can ignore the first section.

Go back to Faina and buy Honey and Wood Syrup. Now make Royal Jelly until IC Level 6.

Honey x2 + Wood Syrup x2 = Royal Jelly.

Keep improving your forging skills!

Have any character reach IC Forging Level 6, I recommend using Edward for this achievement.

Once you reach Port Zala on disc two buy Bronze Metal from Faina. Now make Bronze Scale Greaves until you reach IC Level 4. Don't sell any of the greaves as you will need them for the next section.

Bronze Metal x1 = Bronze Scale Greaves.

Note: You will be able to move onto this section after reaching IC Level 3 but you will need the extra Bronze Scale Greaves so continue until you reach IC Level 4, you will need around 70 Bronze Scale Greaves.

Go back to Faina and again buy Bronze Metal. Now make Bronze Plate Greaves until IC Level 6.

Bronze Metal x3 + Bronze Scale Greaves x1 = Bronze Plate Greaves.

Keep improving your writing skills!

Have any character reach IC Writing Level 6, I recommend using Savio for this achievement.

Note: Savio starts at IC Writing Level 3, so if you are using him for this achievement you can ignore the first section.

I would highly recommend leaving the second and third part of this achievement until after unlocking all other skill achievements and going to Kolton.

Once you arrive in Kolton head to the General Store and buy Pulp Paper and Quill's. Now write "Animal Secrets" or "Understanding Astrology" until IC Level 4.

Pulp Paper x1 + Quill x2 = "Animal Secrets" or "Understanding Astrology".

Go to the General Store in Kolton and buy Writer's Quill's and Pulp Paper, then go to the The Emporium and buy Michelle's "Fear of the Unseen" weapon. Now write "Endless Tale" until IC Level 6.

"Fear of the Unseen" x1 + Pulp Paper x3 + Writer's Quill x1 = "Endless Tale"

Learn every tune.

Some of the tunes come from the storyline, the rest have to be written. To write the tunes you first need to find a special item called a notation. You also need Staff Paper (which can be bought from shops), and Musician's Quills (see below).

You will then need to have Rico write a score, this item can then be used on Capell to teach him a tune. Rico will need to be at IC Level 6 to write the final tune. This CANNOT be done with Savio as he can't write all the tunes. Once Capell learns his final tune the achievement will unlock.

Note: This achievement can only be unlocked on Normal or higher difficulties, as the final notation is found in the Seraphic Gate which CANNOT be reached on the Easy difficulty.

Musician's Quill:

Can be acquired in the following ways:

- Bought in a shop in Halgita.

- Can be made by Kiriya.

- There are also some scattered around the world in chests, see the "Treasure Chest" guide for more details.

Key:

- (Unmissable) - These tunes either don't require notations or require notations that cannot be missed.

- (Missable) - These tunes require notations that must be picked up at a specific point in the game, or they will be missed permanently. These notations are not available in the end game.

- (Anytime) - These notations can be picked up at anytime after you reach the area they are in. If you miss them you can come back during the endgame and pick them up then.

Tunes:

Following are all of the tunes that Capell can learn, including the locations of all of the notations:

- Obstreperus (Unmissable) – You start the game with this tune.

- Prudentiae (Unmissable) – You are given this tune after defeating Rambert at the end of the Dragonbone Shrine.

- Percipere (Unmissable) - You are given this tune after defeating Rambert at the end of the Dragonbone Shrine.

- Valere (Missable) - Requires the "Concerto Notations", which are given to you by Sigmund near the beginning of the game. Go back to Nolaan BEFORE heading to Burgusstadt (which you go to immediately after Castle Prevant) and talk to Sigmund to get the notations. This MUST be done right after completing Castle Prevant.

- Placare (Unmissable) – Requires the “Training Notations”, which you receive after the camp fire seen whilst you are heading to Fayel.

- Fortuna (Unmissable) - Requires the "Prelude Notations" which you receive after the first scene in Fayel castle.

- Alucinari (Unmissable) - Requires the "Fantasia Notations", which you receive after the scene on the castle balcony in Feyal at the start of disc 2.

- Angere (Anytime) - Requires the "Fugue Notations", which is found in the Bihar Mines. Located in a room that you must use a call pipe to enter, three enemies will emerge when you use the call pipe, the notations will be in a chest in this room.

Note: See the "Treasure Chest Guide" for more information.

- Perturbare (Anytime) - Requires the "Sonata Notations", which is located in the Northeast section of the Cobasna Timberlands, when you are heading Northeast to find the cure for Edward, when you use the final teleport instead of going north to continue the storyline head south. You will need Vic's thief skill to open this chest.

Note: See the "Treasure Chest Guide" guide for more information.

- Mare Lunaris (Anytime) - Requires the "Overture Notations", which is found at the top of Dais. Right after defeating the Spider Queen you will need to follow a long passageway. Once outside the chest is to the right of the savepoint, make sure you open the chest before heading north as a boss fight will start when you do, after which you will be back at Halgita.

- Obduratus (Missable) - Requires the "Suite Notations", which is gained by talking to Aya in Port Zala when you first get back from Kolton, whilst you are going back to Fayel at the request of her father. This is your only chance to get this notation.

- Hypnoticus (Anytime) - Requires the "Nocturne Notations", which is received after going back to Sapran and looking at the flower pedestal of Leif and Faina's grave, this can first be done once you are told to head back to Port Zala after being chased out of Fayel.

- Irritatus (Missable) - Requires the "Capriccio Notations" which is found in the Castle Valette before you destroy the Ashen Chain. There will be 3 rooms in a row with rotating spheres; in the 2nd, hit both as they turn blue and a room will open. The notation is in one of the chests in this room. You must get this on the first visit to the castle, as you cannot go back later.

Note: See the "Treasure Chest Guide" guide for more information.

- Precari (Anytime) - Requires the "Symphony Notations", which is found in the Seraphic Gate on the Castle Prevant floor. It's in a locked chest near the portal to Halgita. This chest can only be reached on Normal or higher difficulties.

Note: See the "Treasure Chest Guide" guide for more information.

Keep on clocking hours.

You must play the game for 40 hours for this achievement, this most all be done in one playthrough, for example you CANNOT have 20 hours in one playthrough and 20 in another. If you have already completed the game, you can still continue, by loading the end game save.

If you need to add extra time to your game you can just leave your game running over night, but make sure to use a wired controller or a play and charge kit so that the game doesn't pause when your controller turns off.

Obtain every item.

This achievement requires you to have all 880 items at least once, this does NOT mean that you need to have them all at the same time. This includes all items dropped by enemies, items bought in shops, unique items from side quests, unique items from treasure chests, and items crafted using your characters IC skills.

This must be done in the course of one playthrough as no progress of any kind carries over when starting a new game.

Note: This achievement can only be unlocked on Normal or above difficulties as you need access to the Seraphic Gate.

Gather as much Fol as you can.

For this achievement you will need to have 99,999,999 Fol all at once, this is the max you can hold at any one time. I recommend that you wait until you reach the Seraphic Gate (Normal or above difficulties only) before working on this achievement. Following are ways to make money throughout the game. I suggest using the Mimic strategy at the bottom of this section to gather the required Fol.

Disk 1 - Nolaan to Port Zala (Disk 2):

The following recipes can be made on disk 1 and the start of disk 2 up until BEFORE leaving for Kolton

100% Berry:

Use 2 Red Berries and 1 Blue Berry to make 100% Berry Juice, this will earn you 130 Fol profit for each item. You can buy these materials from the Nolaan General Store or from Faina in Port Zala. This recipe is only useful early in the game when you are in Nolaan. Can be made by Aya, Rucha, or Dominica at IC Level 1.

Horse Shoes:

Use 2 Iron Metal and 1 Granite to make Horse Shoes, these will make 1,950 Fol profit. You can buy these materials from Faina. You can make these with Edward, Eugene, or Kristofer.

Bronze Plate Greaves:

Use 1 Bronze Metal to make Bronze Scale Greaves, then use 3 Bronze Metal and 1 pair of Bronze Scale Greaves to make Bronze Plate Greaves, these sell for 3,600 Fol profit. You can buy the materials for this from Faina or any shop if you have downloaded the "A Voucher" from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Deviant Fish Platter:

Use 1 Sliced Deviant Fish and 2 Sliced Fish to make Deviant Fish Platter, these will make 840 Fol profit. You can buy the materials from Faina. This can be made with Rucha.

Disc 2 - Kolton to Port Zala:

This section lists items that can be made from the first arrival at Kolton to just before returning to Port Zala.

Deviant Fish Platter:

Use 1 Sliced Deviant Fish and 2 Sliced Fish to make Deviant Fish Platter, these will make 840 Fol profit. You can buy the materials from the General Store in Halgita. This can be made with Rucha.

Salamander Boots (Requires B Voucher):

Use 1 Lizard Skin Boots with 1 Salamander Skin to make Salamander Boots, these sell for 18,700 Profit. You can buy the Lizard Skin Boots from the Emporium in Kolton, and Salamander Skin from any shop with the B Voucher.

End Game - Seraphic Gate:

This is the best time for working on the “Filthy Rich” achievement. You can enter the Seraphic Gate after loading the end game save, the teleporter in Kolton Palace will now be active.

Note: The Seraphic Gate can only be accessed on Normal or above difficulties.

Bronze Plate Greaves:

Use 1 Bronze Metal to make Bronze Scale Greaves, then use 3 Bronze Metal and 1 pair of Bronze Scale Greaves to make Bronze Plate Greaves, these sell for 3,600 Fol profit. You can buy the materials the Halgita General Shop after completing the shop upgrade quest, or any shop if you have downloaded the "A Voucher" from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Crescent Swords:

These are dropped by the Blue Drogo Warriors on the Graad Prison (first) floor, and sell for 29,000 Fol.

Dragonedge:

These are dropped by enemies on the Castle Valette Floor, and sell for 85,000 Fol.

3x Mimic (Requires A Voucher):

This strategy requires Steel Metal and Gold Metal. Can be bought in the end game if you downloaded the "A Voucher" from the marketplace.

Have 99 of each in your inventory and then head to the Castle Prevent Floor, between the two treasure chest (see the "Treasure Chest" guide for exact locations) there is a Mimic. When you kill this Mimic it will drop between 50,000 - 60,000 Fol. Using Capell's 3x Fol Enchantment will cause it to drop 175,000 - 180,000 Fol. This Mimic is very close to the Halgita teleporter, so you can use it to respawn the Mimic.

Note: You will need to put your weapon away to use any enchantment.

I can confirm that "Time For Glasses?" is 40 hours on one save, not multiple, I have one save with 35h30m on it and another with 6h but I dont have the achievement yet. I haven't left my game on all night because I want to get it from 40 hours of gameplay, not just letting the game sit there.

Other then that, what info do you want on Marathon Man and Imperial Guard, I have them both.

Thanks for your help I've edited the achievements description and added you to the credits.

I don't need any information on them just yet, I'll be filling them in once I've done them myself, thanks for the offer though :).

Would I be able to submit a strategy in this thread? I have a very good one for Tide of Battle Achievement

Yes I'd be happy to add alternate strategies to the guide, so if anyone thinks they have a solution that is better than the one(s) in the guide, or that might be more helpful to some people than please let me know.

Ok, for my tide of battle strategy, is very simple below.

Make sure you are leveled up to lvl 34 so that you have Reginleif. Its very easy this way

I had Capell equipped with a Rapier and just used Reginleif on the boss twice and he was knocked out I then spammed

Reginleif on the Chain and the battle was over before the first Tsunami even hit.

Im making videos for most of the achievements if you'd like to add them to your guide

I'm happy to add videos for most of the achievements. So if you want to tell me which ones you want to make videos for that would be a big help :).

The only ones that really need them are the miss-able achievements and the "Compulsive" achievement.

Cool someone's doing this but as a request could they be in order as you progress through the game please.

All the achievements that need to be in order are already in order. The storyline achievements you will get no matter what, and the skill and fighting achievements can be done whenever you like.
