Murbay
V 1.4 Credit for this list should also go to Zef - For his contribution to the list on earlier versions J1nx - For supplying the Japanese Item list that was worked from The Unknown Japanese Gamer - Whose 70 page list I have butchered down to 9 pages to make it easier for you guys to follow. The Girlfriend - For the countless hours she has had to endure me tapping away at my keyboard to put this list together. And also to my daughter for finding the power button on my laptop on a couple of occassions. The following lists all the items you need to collect in the game in order to get the achievement. I have not included every location for the items, just one or two key locations so if you find or steal items elsewhere in the game, thats perfectly fine. Like I say this list is basically just to help you with what you need to collect. As this is a long list, and to make it easier on the eye, I have colour coded most of it. This isn't just to make it look a little prettier but it is also to break things down as follows: Black - These are mostly chests found within the game containing common items. Blue - These are items you can buy from the shops listed so it saves you trying to search these items out. Green - These items are either received automatically as part of the story or you have to follow a set task in order to receive the item. These can pretty much be done at any point through the game. Red - These Items only give you one chance to collect them because after a certain point you wont be able to go back and get them. What you need to do will be explained in the warning. (Some place names and Item names may be slightly different considering I was working from the Japanese list but I shall update as I find faults) Healing 001 – Medicine - Sold in Wilderness Sheep Camp - Found in Ancient Ruins Caverns 002 - Mega Medicine - Sold in Jibral Castle Town - Found in Mechat Crash Site 003 - Ultra Medicine - Sold in Pachess Town - Found in Ancient Hospital Ruins - 2F 004 - Magic Medicine - Sold in Wilderness Sheep Camp - Found in Mechat Crash Site 005 - Mega Magic Medicine - Sold in Jibral - Found in Ancient Hospital Ruins - 1F 006 - Ultra Magic Medicine - Sold in Pachess Town -Found in Mural Valley West 007 - Light Crystal - Sold in Jibral Castle Town - Found in Ancient Ruins Caverns 008 - Grand Light Crystal - Sold in Pachess Town - Found in Mural Valley West 009 - Shadow Crystal - Sold in Jibral - Found in Ancient Hospital Ruins 3F 010 - Grand Shadow Crystal - Sold in Pachess Town - Found in Lago Village 011 - Phoenix Talon - Sold in Wilderness Sheep Camp - Found in Drill Machine 012 - Phoenix Plume - Found in Forest of the Dead, Underground River, Grand Mechat - 2F 013 - Aurora Drop - Found in Noluta Village when you try to leave through South gate 014 - Forbidden Crystal - Give monkey in Lal Mountains Camp Banana to receive crystals 015 - Fresh Garlic - Sold in Wilderness Sheep Camp - Found in Lot Wilderness East and West 016 - Stout Garlic - Sold in shops Jibral - Found in Lot Wilderness West 017 - Sahria's Cookies - Received in Devour, leave the village after defeating Eat Eat 018 - Radiant Wheat - Sold in Mecha Robo Cube - Received in Baroy by talking to robot 56 019 - Zephyr Chocolate - Sold in Mecha Robo Cube - Received in Baroy by talking to robot 25 020 - Antidote - Sold in Drill Machine - Found in Mechat Crash Site 021 - Deodorant - Sold in Wilderness Sheep Camp – Found in Lot Wilderness East 022 - Mobility Balm - Sold in Lago Village - Found in Ancient Hospital Ruins - 1F 023 - Steadiness Salve - Sold in Lago Village - Found in Forest of the Dead 024 - Princess' Kiss - Sold in Alumaru Village - Found in Forest of the Dead 025 - Stone-Be-Gone - Sold in Jibral 026 - Mental Surge - Sold in Alumaru - Found in Ancient Hospital Ruins Outside 027 - No-Ghost Device - Sold in Alumaru - Found in Drill Machine 028 - Cure All - Received in Mecha Robo Cube by talking to robot 63 - Found in Jibral Attack 029 - Thorn Grass - Found in Ancient Ruins Caverns 030 - Thorn Vine - Found in Lot Wilderness West 031 - Thorn Branch - Found in Forest of the Dead 032 - Ruby - Found in Drill Machine, Jibral Castle Basement 033 - Grand Ruby - Found in Forest Sheep Camp, Forest of the Dead 034 - Flawless Ruby - Found in Mural Valley East and West 035 - Emerald - Found in Lot Wilderness East 036 - Grand Emerald - Found in Forest of the Dead, Gul Mountains 037 - Flawless Emerald - Found in Mural Valley East and West 038 - Sapphire - Found in Wilderness Sheep Camp 039 - Grand Sapphire - Found in Forest of the Dead, Jibral Castle 3F - King's Room 040 - Flawless Sapphire - Found in Gul Mountains, Alumaru Village, Baroy Town Blue Barrier 041 - Amethyst - Found in Lot Wilderness West 042 - Grand Amethyst - Found in Talta Village Camp, Grand Mechat - 2F, Ancient Factory 043 - Flawless Amethyst - Found in Gul Mountains, Mural Valley West Support 044 - Kelolon Powder - Found in Lot Wilderness West, Ancient Hospital Ruins - 3F 045 - Poison Powder - Found in Lot Wilderness West, Ancient Hospital Ruins - 3F 046 - Sleep Powder - Found in Wilderness Sheep Camp, Mural Valley East 047 - Kelolon Elixir - Sold in Alumaru Village 048 - Vital Elixir - Sold in Mecha Robo Cube - Found in Eastern Lot Wilderness 049 - Magic Elixir - Sold in Mecha Robo Cube - Found in Forest of the Dead 050 - Way of the Thief - Found in Wilderness Sheep Camp 051 - Prism Crystal - Found in Undersea Caverns, Mural Valley East 052 - Repeater Weed - Found in Forest of the Dead, Mural Valley East 053 - Power-Swap Dart - Found in Jibral Castle – Basement, Ancient Factory 054 - Gorgo Elixir - Found in Mural Valley West, Mural Town, Alumaru Village 055 - Devee Elixir - Found in Gul Highlands, Talta Village Camp 056 - Iridescent Wind - Found in Mural Valley West, Jibral Highlands 057 - Iridescent Cyclone - Found in Forest of the Dead, Mural Valley East and West 058 - Ancient Fossil - Found in Gul Mountains, Mural Valley West 059 - Ancient Feather - Found in Mural Valley East and West, Mural Town 060 - Part of the Eternal Engine - Found in Mural Town, Jibral Highlands 061 - Broken Eternal Engine - Found in Talta Village, Mural Valley East 062 - Invisibility Elixir - Found in Lot Wilderness West, Ancient Hospital Ruins - 1F 063 - Mega Invisibility Elixir - Found in Forest of the Dead, Mural Valley East

J1nXxX
Woaw , thats a hell of a list. I'm going to use this when we get "new+" content because I've already missed some of the items you only get one chance for to get. Like the Ticket at the end of disc 2. Nice work on the list, must have taken you a while.

Nice work on the list, must have taken you a while. Ticket is at the end of disk one mate, when you have the feast after the first mechant battle. I got mine from talking to a guy stood near the first table on the left. He was apparently the manager of the Cafe Jibral and gave me the ticket. All together, including the work I did for it on the previous thread, it took around 8 - 10 hours to put together. I'm having a break today then starting on the Monsters list tomorrow so that should be up on the site by Sunday evening
Zef
Stickied =) Some top notch work here Morbay, it is sure to help loads of people out so long as New+ comes out. Now get working on the Monster List =PI might have to print this off and cross off the items I already have when I go back to find anything I have missed, I can't get the achievement as I missed some of the Baroy items but I'll get those on a second play through. Kaens
Not that this will matter because it doesn't affect the achievement in any way but there are a few additional items that are not in this guide and perhaps are only in the Japanese version. Unfortunately I cannot translate but I will take a pic or three and link them in here. Maybe someone can read them and translate for me. I noticed this last night when I was trying to use my prima guide to equip my characters based on the picture (since you cannot see the item number on the equip screen). I noticed this last night when I was trying to use my prima guide to equip my characters based on the picture (since you cannot see the item number on the equip screen). That would be great kaens, thanks I could still add them to the list because you know there will be someone out there who would find these items then panic because they can't find them on the list Zef, I don't think the monster list will be as bad to do mainly because I only have to narrow down 44 pages of A4 instead of 70 though I will warn you now after looking through it last night. As with one chance items, there are also one chance monsters too, some of them only appear when you do certain things in battle but all will be explained when I get the list finished off (Have the kids trampoline to build tonight othrwise I would make a start on it later )

I think these would be the items that you get when you download the extra content. As far as I can tell its something like this, if you could confirm and check the numbers/items cause I wasnt able to find a whole lot about that. Item 900: Mechat Upgrade Parts Item 900: Junk Item 901: Junk Item 902: Super Hard Chip Item 905: Way of the Phantom Thief Item 910: Whimsical Heart Item 918: Nothing Spectacles Item 919: Spring Breeze Scarf Item 920: Shuffle Helmet Item 926: Debi Phonograph

Murbay
WOW dude, that's freaky. I was editing my photo while you were posting that. As much as I love your pics there Kaens, it was bad enough trying to translate some of the semi-english words from the original list. It was a good job J1nx posted at the same time cos man, you almost gave me a heart attack Also, J1nx, now that I am sort of experienced in the Japanese/English translations from the items list you can sort of see the problems I faced. Item 926 Debi Phonograph on our version would be Devee Phonograph And breeze often translated into Zephyr. Not sure whether to add these just yet or wait till our downloaded content is out because we could end up with a whole load of new items and the item numbers worry me a little
Kaens
Hell it's all Japanese to me! I wouldn't add them because they aren't related to any achievements. Imagine your whole team is paralyzed or turned to stone except one person. Now you have one chance to save yourself, do you cast one of 24 spells you don't know what they are OR do you use one of 24 items that you have no idea what they do?!? Yeah, now you see what problems I have! Debi vs Devee = who cares? But alas, that is the joy and price I payed to play the game 9 months before you guys
Murbay
hahaha I guess you win on that one Kaens and its also the reason I dont play any Japanese games that haven't been translated into English first. I rememer once picking one up in Bosnia for the Playstation years ago because it was practically free (a tube of toothpaste is what it cost me) I got back to our rooms and put it on. To me it was called line, line, squiggle, line squiggle and I did give it a damn good go but I honestly couldn't tell where you were meant to go, who you needed to talk to or what anything did so I gave up. The thought of doing it again on the 360 makes me cringe so a lot of respect for you for even attempting a game this large without any knowledge of what is going on. Maybe one day I might try and do it again but for now I'm just happy reading away in English

Murbay
My steals always miss the Phantom dragon!!! Help Thats like 50 tries I've had now in one battle!! All you get for it mate is Nene's earring and/or Ancient Feather. The monster list mentions doing steal - reset - reload technique if you miss so you could be there a while I think perhaps its random whether or not you steal from it and by the sounds of it, it is perhaps quite rare that you do. Webb
I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it The ear ring that is
Murbay
unfortunately it is the only place you can get it, so I guess you are just going to have to reset each time your steal fails. I guess because they mention that technique that any steals after your first failed attempt will either miss or you wont get the earring You could try and use loot I know it will heal it but loot is a lot stronger than steal so you might be luckier with that. Webb
Yup, you are correct. First hit everytime. Just gotta get lucky. *sigh* here goes nothing!!
Kaens
I don't even know how to steal! I've equipped all of my guys with the skill I believe to be steal though and I just cross my fingers that something shows up in my inventory I did just rent the NTSC version so I'll know soon if I can import my old saves. Edit: MWHAHAHAHaacoughhack It works!
GalaxyRed13
Just to let everyone know, the English names for some of the accessories (mainly the Bangle ones) isn't right. I know the topic is mainly translations of the Japanese names, but they're called Bracelets in the North American version, not Bangles.
Zef
Lots of the item names are different between the versions, but most of them are decipherable. One thing I noticed was that Eternal Engines are called Perpetual Motion Machines in the other version. If you can't figure something out from the name then use the number provided, they should all be identical in all versions of the game =)
