Hong Kong Marketplace Completed (10G)

Tai O Completed (10G)

The Mega Restaurant Completed (15G)

Zakarov's Penthouse Completed (15G)

Chicago History Museum Completed (20G)

Slums of Kowloon Completed (20G)

Wong's Estate Completed (25G)

Just play through the game on whatever difficulty you'd like, and these achievements will unlock automatically

Game Completed - Casual (40G)

Game Completed - Normal (50G)

Game Completed - Hard (60G)

Game Completed - Hard Boiled (70G)

These achievements are just like the last set, play through the game, and they'll unlock. The difficulties are also stackable. For example, if you play through on Hard, you'll get the achievements for Normal and Casual

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP-4Qjw=.jpgI Don't Know How to Play Those (20G)

In the mega restaurant level, on either of the first two floors, just hide the cases in a corner where you won't accidentally go near them, and just complete the floor. Personally, I believe the restaurant (1st floor) to be the easier of the two. As soon as you complete the floor, the achievement will automatically unlock. Also, on both of these levels, the "Death by Swing" achievement can also be unlocked, so if you wish, you can get them at the same time. Staying on the chandelier is also an easy way to make sure you don't go near the cases.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP9Sgu8=.jpgPaleontologist (10G)

Completely destroy either the Brachiosaurus (long necked guy) or the T-Rex while in the Chicago History Museum

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP6yenw=.jpgStay Dry (10G)

In the Slums of Kowloon level, stay along the top pathway. See Post #10 for some advice from Murbay

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPhImWw=.jpgMaster of Precision Aim (25G)

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPmoYf8=.jpgMaster of Barrage (25G)

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPwKigY=.jpgMaster of Spin Attack (25G)

Just kill 50, 100, and 100 enemies respectively with the special move

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPpaqcU=.jpgBarrage Specialist (10G)

Check Volucer's post #15 for the full list of weapons, use barrage at least once with each.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP1zi1o=.jpgOld School (25G)

Go through an entire level without using any Tequila special moves. This achievement can also be unlocked after a chapter is completed, by going back to the final checkpoint, opening it up, and completing that single part without special moves. It's kind of a glitch, secret, something.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPyTc8k=.jpgUntouchable (10G)

Just win a standoff without taking any damage. The first 2 standoffs are very easy, so within a few tries this one should be easy to unlock

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPrwaRY=.jpgDeadly World (25G)

Just kill 50 enemies using the environment. That is the shiny glistening object you see on your screen, that when shot will drop a sign, explode, fall, etc., killing whatever is under/near it. This should be unlocked just through playing through the game.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPnXfRg=.jpgRolling Death (25G)

Just kill 50 enemies by laying on a rolling cart and shooting those around you.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPkxmDA=.jpgDeath by Swing (25G)

Kill 50 enemies while hanging from a chandelier, and is probably easiest unlocked while doing the "I don't know how to play those" achievement. This also helps for the "Chow would be Proud" achievement. To hang from a chandelier, just stand on the railing, and shoot at it a few times to get it swinging, then when it gets near you it will turn white and can be grabbed with LT.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPsQkYU=.jpgThe Killer (10G)

Another one that will be unlocked just by playing. You just have to shoot 10,000 rounds. Relax, it'll go by a lot quicker than it seems. I unlocked it in the 3rd level. I also unloaded a lot in the 1st level working for the "Ruthless" achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP-LeyA=.jpgOrigami Master (35G)

Just collect 250 origami cranes. Now this is not possible to do in a single run-through, but this achievement also collects over many run throughs. Supposedly it will unlock by the end of your 2nd completion. Also, any cranes collected in multiplayer do NOT count.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPppkNk=.jpgChow Would Be Proud (15G)

Kill 10 enemies with a 5 star style rating. This is another that should come naturally on its own, and will be unlocked while completing the hanging achievement, if it hasn't been unlocked already.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPg3hYs=.jpgRuthless (30G)

This is easiest to do in the very first chapter, here is a video showing how it's done.

http://stage6.divx.com/user/Elemen7s/video/1609809/Stranglehold---Achievement-Ruthless

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPjRYKM=.jpgMassive D (20G)

Cause $75 million dollars worth of damage. This is another that will unlock naturally, and at the end of each chapter, the summary will tell you how much you tore up that chapter, in case you want to keep track of your progress

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPg9gz4=.jpgNobody Has That Much Style… (60G)

Aquire 5,000 skill points, again, something that can't be done in one run through. Also, it is in the end of chapter summary, so you can keep track of your progress. Also, it is counting the overall acquiring of skill points, not how many skill points you have available, so there is no need to worry about holding off on your spending until this one is unlocked, also, only counts single player, not MP

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPh7oHA=.jpgMeet John Woo (5G)

Just enter the unlock shop. He's the bartender, and just entering that menu will unlock the achievement

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/+0M17g==.jpgFreedom! (10G)

Unlock all the multiplayer characters in the unlock shop. It will cost about 5,350 style points, if my math is good.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP3qcpU=.jpgIt's All Mine... (30G)

Unlock everything in the shop, for a total of 7,650 style points required, once again, if my math is good.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPkCoSw=.jpgTea Party (15G)

Just host and complete 10 online matches in either ranked or player in the Kowloon Teahouse. With a friend, and the match set to 1 minute, it can be done rather quickly.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP1AskY=.jpgJurrasic Battle (15G)

Same as Tea Party but in the Dinosaur Rotunda

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPvFTbE=.jpgMega Jackpot (15G)

Same as Tea Party but in the Golden Dragon Casino

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP6BQ2A=.jpgLounge Lizard (15G)

Same as Tea Party but in the Mega Lounge

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/+WI8Ww==.jpgGeronimo! (15G)

Same as Tea Party but in the Totem Pole Gallery

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPrDUAo=.jpgSea Food (15G)

Same as Tea Party but in the Tai O Drug Labs

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPsjqJk=.jpgMovin' on Up (15G)

Same as Tea Party but in the Chicago Penthouse

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPjiWb8=.jpgOne Gun To Rule Them All (10G)

Finish in 1st place in a multiplayer ranked match, pretty self-explanatory.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UP9hu-M=.jpgKilling Spree (20G)

Get 5 kills in a row without dying in a mutiplayer ranked match.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/+qPNfQ==.jpgBullet Ballet (20G)

Kill 50 opponents while in Tequila Time in either Ranked or Player multiplayer matches

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/-wEmhA==.jpgWinner Takes All (20G)

Kill 50 opponents using Tequila Bombs in either Ranked or Player multiplayer matches

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPygStU=.jpgHardboiled Killer (20G)

Kill 307 opponents in either Ranked or Player . It's really helpful to do this after unlocking John Woo as a multiplayer character, then you can stack this achievement with the next.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/302/UPoltSI=.jpgBe the Master (20G)

Kill 100 opponents as John Woo. As mentioned in the last one, if you unlocked the previous one using John Woo, this one should have unlocked on its own.

Props on the new guide bro... Way to step up and get a new one out there.

Just got a simple question, no need to bite my head off if its been posted somewhere already, but i did look all over and can't find an answer... can the Hosting achievements be unlocked using player matches and sending out invites? I play ranked all the time, but it takes FOR FREAKING EVER to get players in the room, and friends can never find it due to the crapy matchmaking system!

Yes you can, try make it a unique room and have your friends look it up.

BTW khaos2639 the guide is perfect. One thing I like to add is that if your going for like Rolling Death,Death by Swing etc keep track of your kills, cause I kept doing the 1st lvl where you get the Precision Aiming I killed a couples of guys and then restart the checkpoint, after a while I got the Master of Precision Aim achievement if you knew this already then I'm sorry.

Yeah, anything that isn't specifically marked as Ranked, can do whatever you want. For the hosting, like I said, the bare bones easiest way to do it is make a 1 minute room, invite a friend, host 10, then they host 10, play as John Woo while you're doing it, and while you're waiting for the minute to be up, blast the hell out of each other, and you'll be well on your way to the MP achieves

As for the restarting for the precision aiming and such, I didn't know that, so thanks for the info. I'm still playing my way through it, and I use precision and the cart rather frequently, so I was just planning on going through and seeing how many unlock on their own. I'll use your advice then to clean up the missing.

Thanks for the compliments. :woop: I was kinda worried since this is the first contribution I've made, I wasn't really sure how to do it.

--edit: I changed the wording for the MP achievements so it's easier to understand. Hope it helps :)

Got this pm from Murbay with some help on the Stay Dry achievement, and the original post is too long to add it, so I'll just copy and paste it here.

Hi mate, in addition to your guide this achievement is really easy to get.

When you get to the sewer area, first of all you have to work your way down inside the building. I originally thought this was where the achievement was but I was wrong.

After the first building, you end up outside on a construction/demolition site where you have many enemies to kill. Once they are all dead you have to make your way up into another building and this is where you will get the achievement.

The floor in the building crumbles away and you can so easily fall through the floor into the water below. The best way through this is just to dive around because not all parts of the floor crumble away. It is pretty easy to get through this area and just before you leave it the achievement will pop up.

All I can suggest for people who do fall, is by now you will have grenades so work your way back near the begining of the building and drop grenades at your feet because I'm pretty sure once you leave it checkpoints.

Yeah, you can just replay levels (or the same single level) again and again for it. And like the Massive D and Nobody's got that much style... achievements it'll unlock when you go through the next checkpoint.

EDIT:

Also for the "Barrage with every weapon" The weapons you need are

Pistols - Which you can find pretty much anywhere

Golden Pistols - Shouldn't be too hard to find, there's some in the Penthouse level after you fight the helicoptor a second time

Shotgun - Another one that's easy to find

Assault rifle - Ditto

Sub-machinegun - Ditto

Heavy Machine gun - I think you can get these from the penthouse level onwards, but I'm not too sure

Rocket Launcher - There's one at the end of Kowloon, and one in Wong's Estate garden, in the left hut at the top of the stairs. But there's a hidden one earlier in the Mueseum level. When you get to the area which looks different, sorta like a maintenence tunnel, in the second room after the one you enter it, on the left hand corner closest to where you enter the room there's one.

I really wish there was an in-game option to track the number of cranes. I feel like I've picked up a billion of them :)

Do you have to complete the level to get the crane count? Or can you load up a checkpoint, grab a couple paper cranes, die and repeat?

Thanks for the input guys. As for having to finish the level or just the checkpoint, that's a question that I've been wondering for a very very long time. I think I'll figure it out tonight and let you all know.

What I'm planning on doing, if anyone wants to do it with me, is go to the unlock shop and check my style points, then do the very first level in the beginning, and do up to the first checkpoint, which is where you can get about 70 style points in about 3 minutes (It's the spot where Ruthless is the easiest), then go back to the unlock shop and see if it updated. I'll let you all know in a couple hours, got to do some things with the wife right now.

I can confirm that for the kills if you load a checkpoint it will still count towards the achievements. So it should be the same for cranes and style points.:)

Hmmmmm, I don't know. I would think as long as the host stays in the game, the room would still exist, then when everyone else leaves, the game would be over. Since the host and the room remain, my guess would be that the stats attached to said game would remain as well.

I could be very wrong tho, it's just my guess

I can confirm you would have to finish the act to get your cranes achievements I think it's the same for the style points... not sure about style points..

But I am about the origami cranes because the achievement unlocked after beating the level not while picking up a origami crane...
