I'd shit my pants if ANY game were 20x than Skyrim :D

I don't want to start my PC master race bragging, but... Arma 3's primary map is 270 KM2. Skyrim is only about 30 KM2 of playable area in game. Not 20x larger, but around 9x. It's still pretty impressive to experience.

On topic, I'm going to be pretty underwhelmed if Fallout 4 is released on last gen consoles. Fallout: New Vegas was already being held back by last gen consoles and that was 4 and half years ago! I just don't see how this is beneficial to the game, even if another studio ports it for them.

Holy smokes. I haven't heard of this game but that sounds glorious (and a little overwhelming).

What!?! It's only the best game ever made! (ok, perhaps not, but I may be slightly addicted...)

No, but really, Altis is a sight to behold. It's a slightly scaled down version of the real Greek island of Lemnos. You can sink a lot of time into just driving or hiking around the map, taking in all the sights. I'd LOVE to see something on that scale in Fallout 4!

Dude. It says you've played for 1000+ hours. That. Is. Awesome! I can see why it's addictive :D

I know, that's why I posted it to illustrate. :p It's probably my most or 2nd most played game of all time. By comparison I think I've played 600 hours or so of Fallout 3 and NV. According to Steam I have 293 on Skyrim. And I love those games, so that's pretty telling. If you ever have an interest in PC gaming, I'd HIGHLY recommend picking it up. It has an in game editor that's sort of like a Forge mode on steroids (really, it's a lot more than that, but probably the best comparison I can think of off the top of my head) and an external SDK that lets you build very nearly anything you could possibly imagine if you have the time to learn it.

Anyway, I should stop derailing your threads with my non-sense, haha. Sorry about that.

Okay, news update.

Bethesda, creator of the Elder Scrolls and the newer series of Fallout games, has sent out invites for its E3 press conference that takes place on Sunday, June 14. Pictured on the invite are reserved seats for characters from various Bethesda series such as Wolfenstein, Elder Scrolls, and even Doom, but Fallout is distinctly missing. Hell even The Evil Within has representation.

So does this mean that Fallout characters weren't invited to the press conference, or does this mean that they will be on stage? I'm not the only one hoping for a Fallout 4 announcement, right? How about a Bethesda box set that has Doom 4, Fallout 4 and a new Wolfenstein RPG all running on the same engine? If Valve can do it with the Orange Box, so can Bethesda.

Can the "You" refer to an RPG-created PC?

Also…

The internet seem to take it as granted that Fallout 4 is being announced at Bethesda’s first E3 press conference ever. While I think it’s very likely, I don’t think it is a certainty. I can see a world where we don’t catch a glimpse.

That being said though, here is a new rumour to mull over. This comes from German website PCGames, (via NeoGAF) who cite that their sources say a 20-30 minute demo will be shown at the end of their show. It also says that the game will not launch in 2015 as some have guessed.

However, take this with a HUGE grain of salt. The website seems to quote well known leaker shinobi602 as their source, but over on NeoGAF he spoke up and said:

"Why is my name in there lol."

Games could be being played here by him or the website, but it won’t be too long until we find out.

I am leaning towards this not being true. What with Shinobi seemingly denying it and the fact that a 20-30 minute demo sounds incredibly long, I just don’t see it. I could be wrong though. I’ll let you know if anything changes.

On topic of Bethesda's conference:

http://www.pcgames.de/Dishonored-2-PC-259141/News/Angeblich-kein-E3-Auftritt-Insider-Arkane-braucht-mehr-Zeit-1158392/

Translated:

The successor of the Schleich play Dishonored is rumored not shown at E3 2015. Compared to PC Games is a developer of the industry expressed exclusively on the state of development: "Dishonored 2 you will not get to see at E3 Arkane Studios needs more time to develop.."

That developer Arkane Studios is working on Dishonored 2, is an open secret. So far, the signs were for good that the successors of the magnificent stealth action game during the E3 press conference of Publisher Bethesda will be officially announced on June 14. In an interview with PC Games, a industry insiders pointed contact with Arkane and Bethesda but skeptical. The source, who asked to remain anonymous, spoke to us from the fact that Arkane Studios needed more time for the development of Dishonored 2 and a detailed presentation of the E3 so flat case.

However, the source did not rule out that Bethesda will publish at least a teaser on Dishonored 2. Previously, that had rumors about an announcement at Gamescom 2014 proved groundless. Time for a successor, it would be all, is the publication of the first Dishonored ( PC Games Rating: 91 ) but now two and a half years back. After all, the chances are that at the Bethesda-PK finally Fallout 4 is shown , are very good, according to the same source.

OMG YES take my money.

Though it's all rumor for now, I remember last year - at around this time - Halo: TMCC was only rumor because it showed up on a foreign country's marketplace or online retailer. I forget which. Either way, that game ended up being legit so it leads me to believe the rumors that this Dishonored: DE is true, too.

Would you replay it on the X1? Or don't want to go through the frustration of getting those DLC achievements. :biglaugh

This. I'd do the original 1000, but that Dunwall City Trials DLC can go kill itself in a ditch for all I care. :uzi:

Truly the worst piece of shit DLC to be included in a game that I've played so far.

If they announce Fallout 4 i'll get myself an XB1, regardless of whether it comes out on the previous gen as it would be worth it for the experience.

I wouldn't be unhappy if it came out on both though as that's just good fan service, ad let's face it, would only be done if the money makes sense. I think most people would realise you won't be getting the best experience of the game on the previous gen but would appreciate the opportunity.

Chances are it will be Dishonored 2 though!

So apparently Miranda studios has been frantically emailing websites and asking them to take down this newest news of cinematic teaser.
