Morbido
People online can do it. The computer can do it. But I cant. Its especially infuriating when the puck gets dumped in and your guy gets to it by the boards first yet he takes ages to get it under control and by the time he does hes usually checked. Ive seen others bat it away with the stick first time but I dont know how. Its not as simple as pressing RT just before you get it. As ive tried that numerous times. Any advice? PyreBall
Just keep playing the game, dude. I definitely sympathize with the passing problem. The passing's been really funky for a couple of years now. I can't tell you how many times I've come in on an odd man rush and tried to pass it to the trailer who's just stepping into the slot only to watch the puck go the complete opposite direction to a guy who's getting mugged behind the net. I've found, however, that the more you play the more your thumbs seem to find the game's rhythm. Sounds dumb but I dunno how else to explain it. I just know that my passing has gotten a bit more even, although certainly still not good. Same goes for your other concerns.

bigbear.
RB and flick right stick. Finally worked it out... Yeah, poke check is the way to go along the boards. Passing controls are total shit along the boards. Sorry, if I had seen the thread earlier I would have said something.

Sorry, if I had seen the thread earlier I would have said something. No worries. Just got to get the hang of using stick lift now (I always get a penalty against me) and 'gliding'.
