iBuzz7S
Well, it was to be somewhat expected. I was watching a livestream of someone playing and what looked like the importing of the ME2 save file corrupt. He said that he spent over 70 hours playing ME2 and the save won't even work with ME2. I was thinking of getting ME2 and having a quick playthrough on the 360, but seeing this little hickup, it's turned me off the idea. Edit. Please, do not take my post as some sort of confirmation that all saves are corrupt/will be corrupt. This was the first I've seen/heard of such a thing and it's a mere coincidence. Valiantheart
Whats this about an ME2 save file being corrupt? Some balls of steele guys out there, exported the files to the xbox Gold cloud service before formatting their consoles' hdd. Now they have useless cloud files that can't be read. afaik
Tsuarn
so its only with saves stored on the cloud? if so im lucky i made a back up of my saves :S
13ip0lar
In the end there have been two fixes for the situation. The only one I recall off the top of my head is the easy one, which is to move the save back to your HD. I even loaded my 2010 save from ME2 up just to make sure there is nothing wrong. I figure if it loads in ME2 fine, it shouldn't have an issue when I import it.

Rivercurse
From what I've read the citadel location is on both discs, but some citadel sidequests are on disc 1, and others are on disc 2..

Rockox
When I heard Clint Mansell was doing the soundtrack, I figured it had the potential to be one of the best scores to come out this year (game or film). So I was very disappointed when I heard he was sharing composing duties with a bunch of other guys. Now that the soundtrack's out, it downright sucks that Mansell only has two tracks on there. He must've only been hired to write a main theme and that's it. Having not played the game yet, maybe there's more of his work in there, but I kinda doubt it. And here I was hoping for something to finally rival the awesome work Mansell did in "The Fountain." Oh well.

Prime-Directive
I am sorry if I sound slow but what on earth is Cloud? I have heard people complaining about it, I just have my save on my xbox 360 hard drive ready to import when I get the game, I have no idea what this Cloud storage thing is? iBuzz7S
I am sorry if I sound slow but what on earth is Cloud? Instead of moving your saved game physically (USB, console, HDD) you store it on the Xbox LIVE server. More info here - cloud storage
Prime-Directive
Ok I understand now, thanks, has this cloud storage system problem prevented everyone from importing there MA2 files that use it or is it random so far?
Quickdraw
Ok I understand now, thanks, has this cloud storage system problem prevented everyone from importing there MA2 files that use it or is it random so far? from what i gathered it was cloud saves of me2, this might be cause the game was majorly developed before this system was put into place so it does not register the save once it is on the cloud servers. this is all just my guess ofc. clairefun
Mine's the normal 'why can't the uk have it the same time as you?!' moan. I'll save judgement on the rest - though having my me1 & 2 saves on my hdd might be helping me there...

Quickdraw
I'm still fascinated that there's a bitching thread even before the game is out... sure a good portion of people in us now have it before the release date, but the complaining has been going on way longer on the offical forums be thankful this is minor compared to that. Valiantheart
Here's a new gripe. I don't like switching discs between the main storyline and N7 side missions. Here is a gripe. Idiots playing Mass Effect. All idiots should be banned from Mass Effect and anything Mass Effect related. Seriously though, EVERYONE knew that there would be some disc swapping involved in the 360 version. Your right to complain about any and all disc swapping was null and void the moment you chose to buy the 360 version instead of the PS3 version. Thank you. Have a nice day.
