deexor
Siliconera reports that DeathSmiles 2X has received an ESRB rating, making a US release seem likely. Cave is listed as the publisher. http://www.siliconera.com/2011/04/24/cave-releasing-deathsmiles-2x-in-north-america-hells-christmas-has-frozen-over/ http://www.esrb.org/ratings/synopsis.jsp?Certificate=30922&searchkeyword=
The Stray
Nice, at least CAVE is taking the initiatite to make the sequel over in the US, as they did their own with Guwange and Nin-2 Jump. Edited May 18, 2011 by The Stray
amacteur
Do you guys think it's possible to buy the game through a US account even if we are in Europe?
The5thCylon
Do you guys think it's possible to buy the game through a US account even if we are in Europe? No, games on demand are region locked. US account doesn't matter, it'll detect where your IP is.

You can use a VPN to bypass this, but it takes some technical fidgeting... and a commercial VPN service costs something too.
So Young
I'm from Canada and I just create a US account and buy US Microsoft points online and it works. I bought Deadthsmiles 2 on the US market and I play it on my real Canadian account.
deexor
You can use a VPN to bypass this, but it takes some technical fidgeting... and a commercial VPN service costs something too. Just to clarify... as I understand it, the games are on GoD are region-locked to the console's region (can't be played on a non-NA console), and your IP address is checked during purchase and download. Using a VPN helps with the latter but you'll still have a problem with the console region. Maybe the games that have a region-free retail disc release are region-free on GoD as well, but who knows. So, I guess people with an IP address in Canada are allowed to make any purchases from the US marketplace, even if they don't show on the Canadian marketplace. The consoles are the same NA region, so that's not a problem.

deexor
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=27912214&postcount=277 So apparently no IP address checks, but you still need a NA / Japanese / Asian 360 and a US live account.
