Green Day Rock
Does anyone who has done this know the timings for completing each level to make sure that you are on track to complete it in under 5 hours? Ie: Chapter 1 - 00:13 minutes Chapter 2 - 00:36 minutes Chapter 3 - 01:02 etc etc Thanks!
LickableLemons7
It's been over a year since I last played The Evil Within, I couldn't really give you a good personal estimate. I looked around, I found this post by The Cue Ball (comment #11): http://www.xboxachievements.com/game/the-evil-within/achievement/90822-The-Quick-and-the-Dead.html I'll assume this was done on a casual playthrough after getting all the upgrades. Here are my chapter finish times, if you want a guide Chapter 1 - 0:15:23 Chapter 2 - 0:21:12 Chapter 3 - 0:30:38 Chapter 4 - 0:42:07 Chapter 5 - 1:14:54 Chapter 6 - 1:51:07 Chapter 7 - 2:10:58 Chapter 8 - 2:17:42 Chapter 9 - 2:38:13 Chapter 10 - 3:07:33 Chapter 11 - 3:32:49 Chapter 12 - 3:45:44 Chapter 13 - 3:57:15 Chapter 14 - 4:35:03 Finish - 4:48:48 8 deaths (due to rushing) There's also an outline by Priit3 on True Achievements: http://www.trueachievements.com/a191957/the-quick-and-the-dead-achievement.htm My speedrun time was 3:57:05. Here are my times after each chapter: Ch 1 - 12:50 Ch 2 - 20:35 Ch 3 - 26:10 Ch 4 - 36:14 Ch 5 - 55:55 Ch 6 - 1:21:51 Ch 7 - 1:37:42 Ch 8 - 1:42:49 Ch 9 - 2:01:14 Ch 10 - 2:26:06 Ch 11 - 2:48:47 Ch 12 - 3:01:19 Ch 13 - 3:11:51 Ch 14 - 3:28:27 Ch 15 - 3:57:05 On my casual speedrun i was fully upgraded. This was my 3rd run = knew what to do and were to go. Before starting I replayed few levels to have max ammo for almost all my weapons, to not waste time searching for it. I skipped all cutscenes. For me, this was one of the last achievements I unlocked from the original 1000g. I did this after clearing akumu mode and played on casual using the brass knuckles. Very easy to get the The Quick and the Dead achievement that way in under 3 and a half hours, don't have to really think or break a sweat.
