godless_commie
Personally, I find that using grammar helps me get achievements.
SPARTIKU5
Did you upgrade your weapon also ?
RRIKER
1. Stop sleeping in English class, you need it. 2. Read the stickies and guides, for they will contain everything you need to know. 3. Fully upgrade the weapon (sword, axe, OR mace), armor, AND the helmet. 4. Welcome to the site.
RareCoincidence
just make sure your wearing all of the same equipment before you upgrade the last weapon of the same type, thats what i did and they all unlocked fine for me.
SecondOne
It sounds obvious or stupid , but I found, when you forge an item when selecting the minions to use make sure it says Imbue in the description of what it will do to the Item your forging ie Forging Steel Armour when you select the minions it says Brown Increases, Red's Increases, Green's Imbue and Blue's Increases so i used all green minions , and so on. ps the helmet didnt seem to matter any old minions will do Edited February 7, 2009 by SecondOne
E vee dub
Ultimate Steel/Durium/Arcanium Achievements NOTE. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/258/1Dc8P2Ni.jpgUltimate Steel10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpgForge an Ultimately Imbued Steel Set http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/258/1Tc8P2Nh.jpgUltimate Durium20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpgForge an Ultimately Imbued Durium Set http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/258/1jc8P2Nk.jpgUltimate Arcanium40 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpgForge an Ultimately Imbued Arcanium Set NOTE: If you use the minion glitch, keep in mind these things: -These achievements do not unlock when you quick-save after forging the last minions into your item. -I had over 400 of each minion type. Using this glitch will still subtract minions from your total. Each time I upgraded a set with the glitch, I ended up with: 101 - Brown 101 - Red 101 - Green 101 - Blue -So do like the guide suggests and imbue only 101 of each color at a time. 1. Purchase each item legitimately with gold and forge them (with no added minions). SAVE. 2. Exploit the glitch until you only need a few more minions to completely upgrade the item (just one more is good enough). 3. When you add your last minion to completely upgrade an item, DO NOT SKIP THE CUT SCENE. SACRIFICE THE LAST MINION LEGITIMATELY. The achievements will then unlock. rondund
Cheers for that, good advice. I was having immense problems with the Ultimate Durium achievement. Equipping the Weapon/Armour/Helmet you are upgrading and only sacrificing 100 minions at a time certainly did the trick (making sure to legitimatley sacrifice the last minion slot for each piece). I also let the cutscene run a little longer than I had previously (about up to when the camera pans up to overhead the smelter), don't know if this makes a difference but on my 3rd try I wasn't taking any chances!! jamie1000013
If you max it for example the helmet needs say 500 minions and you put 500 in. Will you still need to use 1 minion after to max it? or do you have to use 499 and do the glitch then legitimately kill 1 to max it 500.
