Introduction

There are 4 different classes you can pick and level up. You can play with up to 2 other people co-op or online. With 4 Acts, you will be playing through 20 levels. The achievements in this game require you to complete all of the levels multiple times and use all 4 different characters. Difficulty is not an option, and you must play on default. You will be beating the game with every character, maxing one of those characters out, and then replaying the game until you have beaten all challenges on all levels. There are 3 challenges per level and they can only be done one at a time. These are not dying, beating in par time, and having a certain damage/combo score.

Step 1: Playthrough With Each Character

Choose any character and play through the game. I suggest starting with the Warrior so that you can get used to the combos while maintaining high damage and health. Put most of your points earned into strength and health. I personally think a good choice for your 2nd character is the Hunter. Make sure to go to town and picking the damage points bet from the bookkeeper and attempting those on each level. Later on it will get harder to do this. After you have beaten every level with every character, they should all be around level 32.

Act 1 Level 2 - Avoid the mine carts

Act 2 Level 2 - Do not use the tank at all in the level

Act 3 Level 5 - Avoid the acid attacks on the elevator

Act 4 Level 2 - Kill the mini-boss without being hit

Step 2: Complete Challenges for Each Stage

Now pick the character you decided to attempt the challenges early with. Focus on the par time ones and rush through the game. Just keep grinding away at the levels getting all of the challenges done. You will need to equip weaker weapons to build up combos if you have to play earlier levels doing the score attack. Try using very weak weapons for your :xbut: attack but keeping a stronger weapon for your :ybut: attack. Knock the enemy up into the air, and jump and press :xbut: :xbut: :xbut: :ybut:. This will fling the enemy back into the air. Keep repeating over and over and even though the enemy is dead, you will still build a score over it. This can be one on the earlier levels that are tougher to get the score on.

Step 3: Mop Up

If you have any more misc. achievements you forgot to do, you now have an over powered character and can likely do it all very easily. A lot of the mopping up can actually be done in the DLC. It is much easier to get leveled up on the boss of Act 5 (which is the DLC), as well as gaining the more powerful weapons. If you still don't have the environmental kills, you can get these easily on the raft ride by knocking the enemies into the river. The 9,000 damage achievement may be the last achievement you need. You will likely be using the Mage for this, so check the achievement description for the tactic.

Conclusion

The game itself is very easy. It's more of a "grinding game". You just need the patience to complete it almost 7 full times if not more depending on what you miss. The game is pretty good and can be fun, but quickly wears out it's welcome with the demand to replay it over and over.

DLC: Jungle Hunt

Cost: 400 MSP

Achievements: 5

Points: 100

Overview:

-Estimated achievement difficulty: 1/10

-Offline: 5/5 (100http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg)

-Online: 0 (0http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg)

-Approximate amount of time to 400http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg: 2 Hours

-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1

-Missable achievements: None

-Glitchy achievements: None

-Unobtainable achievements: None

-Requirement to play: You must have completed Act 4 of original game

Introduction

Act 5 is the DLC which was released at the same time the game was. It seems they had 5 Acts and took out 1 Act to make it cost money as DLC versus just including it in the original game. You can tell because The Act's map fits perfect on the top right. The 4 Acts originally seemed like an incomplete puzzle. Also, you are able to get the rest of your levels easier in Act 5 as well as get the better equipment. Along with this new Act, the real DLC seems to come from an extra level per original Act. They do nothing for achievements so it's not really worth playing them unless you do enjoy the game.

Step 1: Complete Act 5

Complete the Act focusing on the misc achievements described in the guide. This won't take you too long, and you will be able to complete it very easily with your high powered character.

Conclusion

There's really no other steps. The misc achievements are so quick and easy that they can't really even be put into a step because you should gain them in one single playthrough.

Defeated the boss in Act 1.

Story related, can't be missed.

In Act 1 Level 5 you will fight Mossback Stomper. This boss is a giant tree looking humanoid monster. You must first do enough damage to it's left and right hands. It will pound the ground and debris will fall from the sky. Hide behind one of them as he does a ray based attack. Now hit his hand and his head will drop to the ground. Do damage to his head and he will repeat the ground pounding. This battle should serve no real stress.

Defeated the boss in Act 2.

Story related, can't be missed.

In Act 2 Mission 5 Mama's Throne, you will fight Grimmoc Mama. She has a pretty good amount of attacks. She will shock the ground while safe, and you will fight enemies. Then she will come back and you can attack her. She takes a lot of hits but it is a very basic fight.

Defeated the boss in Act 3.

Story related, can't be missed.

In Act 3 Level 5 you will fight a flying boss. You will have to jump attack him to get him to fall down and then do as much damage as you can. There will be enemies thrown in as well and he will do a few other attacks with acid.

Defeated the boss in Act 4.

Story related, can't be missed.

In Act 4 Level 5 you will only have to face the last boss. He has 3 phases. The first is actually the toughest. Once you fall through the ground, he will keep calling two orbs to heal him. You must destroy these. Afterwards you will work your way to hitting him off of a cliff.

Completed a level with help from each of the four classes.

Either play online or local co-op to get this. Your co-op partner must have been at least each other class once. You can complete the same level or choose different one. If you have no one else to play with, you can always use a second controller and drag them through the first level.

Reached the max level.

After beating the game, you should be around level 30-32. Max level in this game is 40. You should wait until you have obtained gold on every level and got all challenges done before trying to grind out the rest of your levels. Keep beating the last level which is only the boss to get the rest of your levels.

DLC Advantage: Having the DLC will make this much easier. You will play 5 more levels and the final level has a boss that gives you a lot of experience points. Keep replaying the last boss to get the rest of the best equipment as well as gaining to level 40.

Juggled an enemy together with another player.

To juggle an enemy, you must first get them in the air. The best way to do this is an uppercut finisher. Press :xbut: and then up :ls:+:ybut: to knock them in the air. You have to be at least level 4 for that combo. Both you and the other player must hit the enemy that got hit into the air at least once. This can be done locally or online.

0YCLiGJhbC9NFQUXXFJQHTM2L2FjaC8wLzkAAAAA5+fn-pefig==.jpgArsenal 15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Unlocked 100 different weapons.

Weapons are drops from enemies that look like weapons your character carries. You can only use 1 of a certain type, but the ones you don't have equipped go to your armory which can be accessed from town. There is no need to actually pick up any weapons, as they will automatically unlock in your armory. You do not have to get all 100 weapons with one character. This is between all of your characters. Not all weapons are different, so even if you count more than enough between your characters some of those weapons might be the same. You should get this naturally while playing through all 4 classes. You can see what weapons you have by visiting the blacksmith in town.

Unlocked 30 different armors.

Armors are drops from enemies that look like chest pieces. You can only wear one at a time, but the ones you don't have equipped go to your armory which can be accessed from town. This will eventually unlock from the time you spend playing through the levels on all 4 classes. Bosses/Mid Bosses tend to give the most loot. There is no need to actually pick up any armors, as they will automatically unlock in your armory. You do not have to get all 30 armors with one character. This is between all of your characters. There are a lot of the same armors between characters, so this will take you longer to get than the weapons.

Performed all the different combo finishers.

It it required that every character you have is at least level 22 before you can accomplish this. Press :start: and go to the combo list. Make sure you have performed each combo on the list. You must do this with all 4 characters in order for the achievement to unlock.

Earned gold medals on all the main game levels.

Each level has a medal you can earn. Gold is the highest medal, and can be earned with high scores in each of 3 categories. These include Damage Bonus, Health Bonus, and Time Bonus. You will get an overall score with your rank which looks like a wing. These should come while you try to complete the challenges for each stage. Any remaining ones should be attempted once you reach level 40 and can easily speed through the level with no damage taken and killing everything quickly.

Avoided getting hit during a battle sequence.

This might seem difficult at first glance, but you very well may get it on the first level of the game. In level 1, you will be attacked in a bar. There are 6 enemies you face and that is considered a battle sequence. If you do happen to get hit there, the easiest sequence in the entire game will follow. Two enemies come from the entrance. Defeat them without getting hit and you'll earn the achievement. You can come back later with a higher level character if you want, or even do Co-Op.

Avoided all falling rocks in the Citadel level.

Act 4 Level 4

You'll get to a point in this level where you will see catapults in the distance. There are ones that don't face you and is safe to be around, but then you will see different ones targeting your location. There will be a red X on the ground where a rock is going to land. Just stay clear of these X marks. The achievement will unlock when you complete the area, but will once you have completed the level.

Completed all challenges using one character.

There are 3 challenges per level. They are for not dying, for scoring a a certain damage bonus, and for beating the level in par time. To get these challenges you must unlock the level first. While highlighting it, go to down by pressing :ybut:. Now go to where there is a well and a guy whom is the bookkeeper. He will ask you if you want to place a bet. Talk to him and he will ask you to pay gold to do one of the challenges. The gold required raises by 100 each act. You can only do one at a time, meaning you must complete the levels a minimum of 3 times with the same character, actually beating the challenges asked. This gives you a full 2 minimum extra playthroughs. You can easily get the time limit and no death one by leveling up your character very high and completing the game, then going back to do them. The damage one is a bit trickier and you may have to equip lesser weapons because the damage bonus is based off of combos, and if you kill an enemy in one shot you cannot combo them. Using weaker weapons on earlier levels, you will need to juggle enemies to gain the score. The score is actually 6,666 on every level. Use the combo :xbut: then up on :rs:+:ybut: to knock the enemy into the air. Jump and press :xbut: :xbut: :xbut: :ybut: to juggle the enemy and relaunch it into the air. Even when dead, you can still gain the score off the enemy. This can be repeated over and over.

This solution found in this thread here: Score Challenge Thread by ponypo2001 is extremely accurate in telling you how you need to accomplish the score challenges on the early levels with your high level character.

Killed 20 large enemies while riding a mount.

There are a few levels which have mounts in the game. These are beasts that you can ride and use to attack enemies. You need to attack large enemies, which can only be described as enemies that can't be knocked up into the air.

ACT 3 LEVEL 4: THE BRIDGE

This is the best area to get the achievement if you had not obtained it in each characters playthroughs. When you get to the mount, you face mostly large enemies.

Killed 100 enemies using the environment or traps.

There are a lot of traps and environmental hazards in this game. The enemy actually must die to these, not just be damaged. This stacks between all of your characters and playthroughs so you should get this naturally if you work on it whenever you see a trap. The explosive barrels take very little damage away from enemies so you have to get them to a sliver of health before attempting it. The traps that work the best are the one hit kill ones. These are the heavy objects that go up and down on the ground. Knock enemies below them by pressing :xbut: :dright: and :ybut: while it's up, then it will smash down on them. You can also use the swinging logs/spikes to kill enemies. The first boss in the game in Act 1 also kills a lot of the enemies with one hit.

DLC Advantage: Having the DLC will make this much easier. On the river level, there is a raft you ride. Just knock the enemies into the water. This is the easiest way to get the achievement. Repeat the level as needed.

Completed all levels as the Warrior.

You must complete all 20 levels with the Warrior. Each character is it's own file and you do not share gold, weapons, armor, etc. This character's secondary is a heavy weapon. It can do a lot of extra damage performed in combos. This character is a good option for completing all challenges as well as one of the two characters who can reach over 9,000 damage.

Completed all levels as the Ranger.

You must complete all 20 levels with the Ranger. Each character is it's own file and you do not share gold, weapons, armor, etc. This character's secondary is a bow. You can shoot enemies and bosses long range to avoid up and close confrontation. This character is great for completing all challenges.

Completed all levels as the Mage.

You must complete all 20 levels with the Mage. Each character is it's own file and you do not share gold, weapons, armor, etc. The mage specializes in magic to help in battle. You can shoot long range with the secondary, which is elemental and depends on your equipment. It's best to put a lot of points into power. This is the best class to get the over 9,000 damage achievement.

Completed all levels as the Shaman.

You must complete all 20 levels with the Shaman. Each character is it's own file and you do not share gold, weapons, armor, etc. This character has mid-range secondary attacks that shoot from a staff. This character can heal and buff with the various power attacks, but you cannot pick what power you use, making it frustrating when you want to heal but have 2 power blocks. This character is fairly useless to gain most of the achievements, so just beat the game with her and move on.

Completed all levels in multiplayer.

You must complete all of the levels in multiplayer, either online or local co-op. There are a total of 4 Acts you will be going through, with 5 levels each totally 20 levels. There is no way to tell which levels you have completed so you will have to keep track.

You need to have 4 enemies on the screen at the same time. Avoid them until they are really close to each other. Now go just in front if not near the middle of them and press :xbut: then up on the :rs: and :ybut: to uppercut them into the air.

Spent at least 4 seconds on each page of the 'how to play' section.

The "How to Play" section is a menu option. There are different pages with information on the game. Some of these pages are within one category, and you have to press :dright: to go to the next. Stay on the page for about 5 seconds each, counting out loud or actually reading the materiel that is displayed. No way to tell how many seconds on what page you have done, so if you don't get it when you think you should, start over.

Completed all levels without dying.

The only way to track this is by completing the challenges associated with not dying. To accept these challenges you have to highlight the level you are going to play and press :ybut: to go into down. Talk to the bookkeeper and create the challenge to beat the level without dying. Now play and once you complete the level without a death, the challenge icon will be lit up. You don't have to do the challenges to get the achievement, but it is the easiest way to track it. This does not have to be one with one character, you just have to have beaten ever level once without dying no matter who you chose to be.

Completed a level without taking any damage from enemies.

Once you have leveled up a bit (maybe around level 20), then visit Act 1 Chapter 1 which is a very short level. Kill the weak enemies within a few hits and move on until you beat the level. It only takes a couple of minutes. You can take damage from the fire and falling, but just not from actual enemies attacking you. You only have to be a little more careful at the end. Alternatively, you can play Co-Op and avoid enemies while the partner does all the work.

Dealt over 9,000 damage with a single attack.

This damage has to be dealt to 1 enemy. It is not a combined total. This is the trickiest achievement in the game.

Mage: Make sure you have around 20-25 points into the Power attribute. Go to town and fill up your Rage and Magic potions. Also buy crystals that give you power. These shards come in 3 sizes, so buy one of each in power (+4, +6, +8). This gives you +18. Go into a level and make sure you have 3 blocks of magic, then press :bbut: to use the spell. This will turn the enemies into chickens and then they will explode. This should do about 12,000+ damage with critical. Without critical, you will likely only get just above 7,000. This means it will take several attempts given you only have around 10% critical chance.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEHqgQoF1IU]Sacred Citadel: It's Over 9,000! Achievement - YouTube[/ame]

Warrior: The warrior must have most points into Attack. Using the :rbbut: + hold :ybut: is the attack needed for the damage. You should have 3 crystals all attack which equals +18 attack. Mixed with the rage potion you should be able to do the damage needed as long as you had good attack to begin with and a very high damage output with secondary weapon. The hard part is executing the attack. You will need to get down to 1 enemy. Block the incoming enemies attack with :ltbut:. This will stun the enemy giving you time to execute your attack and get the achievement.

Note: The Shaman and Hunter class likely cannot get this achievement. None of their attacks do enough damage.

In Act 1 Level 2, you will be in a mine. You will end up at an obvious mine track area. While fighting on it, there will be warnings on the screen. A mine cart will then come from the side the warning is on. Avoid it easily by jumping over it. Try not to get caught up in a fight or be getting hit while it is about to come by. Act 2 Level 2: Tank Garrison

There is a tank at the start of the level that you can get in. Ignore your temptation and continue on without jumping into it. You will fight quite a lot of enemies on foot, but it shouldn't be too difficult even if it's your first time playing the mission.

Killed the mini-boss in the Lost Metropolis without being hit by it.

Act 4 Level 2, you will come to a boss mini-boss who is released to attack you. He only has a few attacks. Melee and throwing a giant rock at you. Just roll whenever an attack is about to happen and land as many attacks as you can before he attacks again. It's okay if other enemies hit you. You can very well get this in your first attempt, but may wish to come back later when you have more powerful weapons and are higher leveled.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Defeat the boss in Act 5.

In Act 5 Level 5, you will be facing the boss. This boss will keep healing itself if you don't go attack her back when she goes to heal. Eventually she will die, and you will get the achievement.

Note: Remember to jump in the pool in the middle for a separate achievement.

Avoid all obstacles during the raft ride.

Act 5 Level 3: Naruvu River

This is extremely easy. The obstacles are really just vines and in order to "not avoid" them, you have to be pushed completely off a very large raft. You can run into the vines and be fine. Just jump over them (this is a slow paced raft ride). The ones that take up the whole screen you must attack.

Throw 10 enemies into the Naruvu River.

Act 5 Level 3: Naruvu River

When you get to the raft ride, just do a combo that launches the enemies off of the raft. An example would be :xbut: :xbut: :ybut:. You will likely be launching off every enemy that gets on the raft, so this should come fairly fast.

Note: This is a perfect level to grind your "100 environment kills" if you have not obtained the achievement by this point.

Complete all levels in the Jungle Hunt DLC without destroying any voodoo dolls.

There are voodoo dolls in Act 5 Level 4. They are on stakes and you can spot them very easily. You will have to fight enemies around them, so do not do any attacks that could hit them. If the enemies hit and destroy them, that is okay. You will unlock the achievement after defeating the boss in Level 5. There might be other voodoo dolls in other levels, but they are not easy to notice and you will likely not have seen them.

Jump into the piranha pool next to the boss.

In Act 5 Level 5 you just have to jump in the pool in the middle. You can do this whenever you want, including after you have defeated the boss. Likely weapons/gear will fall in the water and you will have to jump in anyways.

Coming together well.

In the dlc there's a raft level 5-3 I believe. This is the quickest and easiest spot to get

Clean hands 15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Killed 100 enemies using the environment or traps.

by doing the X, X, forward Y towards any enemy that jumps onto the raft you will knock them into the river. You can only knock enemies off the right side of the raft. All item and gold drops from a drowned enemy will be magically dropped onto the raft for you.

I found that so much better than bouncing those ewok log traps back and forth.

For XP grinding the boss in the dlc world 5-5 Pool she is worth 200,000 XP. She's pretty easy to beat once you're higher leveled.

Attack her until her health is gone. Follow her and attack her backpack. With a rage potion and a high attack you might break her backpack in once set of combos. If she fully heals attack her back to zero hp and attack her backpack again until she's dead.

She drops loads of money and weapons (she's where I got my 704dmg axe).

I only saw voodoo dolls in level 4. Have you spotted any others?

EDIT: Is there absolutely no way to get the 9000 dmg with a Hunter? I have a level 40 Character and a very powerful bow. I use the special attack and I swear there are 3-4k dmg signs on 6 or 7 enemies which should mean well over 9k. So is it really 9000 dmg to 1 enemy? I might have this achievement wrong.

The 9000 has to be on one enemy. I have done 9000+ with the mage and a warrior but had no luck with ranger or shaman.

Dang, guess I'll have to work on the Mage/Warrior then. I was using my Ranger as the main level 40, gold all levels, and do all challenges. Guess I will have to continue playing with the other classes. Thanks!

Thanks Wax for the other info in both threads, I have finally hit over 9000 after failing quite a bit. Just needed the stronger weapon which seemed to do the trick

how do you know when you have completed a challenge as I took a bet, completed the level without dying and the symbol hasn't changed. Yet when I go to the bookmaker, it says challenge active, am i missing something?

Nice guide by the way.

Because you went to a different level. There is one city per Act, and when you acknowledge a challent, it is random which level from the Act is activated. You have to browse them, then select where it was activated.

Happened to all of us...
