xTKWxCanadaEhx
Does anyone know where I can get new drivers for my Atheros AR5009 802.11a/g/n WiFi Adapter? I tried doing the Update driver software in Device Manager, and apparently Windows thinks the drivers are up to date. Weird thing is, this kid in one of my classes last semester has the exact same laptop as me, only his was made 1 year after mine was. He was able to pick up the campus' wifi in the lecture hall, and I wasn't. So are there new drivers, or is Windows correct in it's assumption that my drivers are up to date? shockdoctor31
Have you tried going to the website of your computer's manufacturer and looking in their downloads section for updates? Or, if you bought the card separately from your PC, have you tried going to the wireless card manufacturer's website and looking for updates? I never trust M$ updates for driver updates. It's never correct, IMHO.
