G315T
The "Empire" game achievements have tended to be a little easier than the initial game achievements. Many of them should also end up being similar to the DW6 achievements. Due to likely similarities in gameplay, too, most of the stuff in my DW6 guides should still be valid too. (Hopefully the damn horse formulas stay the same. =p )

G315T
I'm a little wierded out by the way difficulty settings work. The start of each game, before you level up, is by far the most difficult part... in every game I've played, on any difficulty level there is a point at which you become a god. The higher the difficulty level, the longer that takes... but it's still very wierd to have front-loaded difficulty like that.
ellerkermike
I'm asking which is the best charcter to use.
Sinister Reno
probably Zhao Yun since he has such a simple move set. for all the "complete battle as ____" achievements you can just start a new game with a character and go to a mission where you have to "kill all the tigers" and so that for the achievement. Its takes about 5 minutes per battle which adds up to 15 GS every 5 minutes up to like 650 Gs or something.
ellerkermike
I already have that achievement look at my achievements(Scenarios unlocking achievements I'm talking about)
Sinister Reno
I still highly suggest Zhao Yun for all the scenarios. Its also good to create some Edit characters with his moveset for scenarios like "a land in chaos" and maybe "the battle of Chi Bi". Also, whenever you beat a scenario with a character, you get points to spend on bonuses. Just select the "keep weapons" bonus and the "keep skills" bonus when you pick the character you beat the previous scenario with, he/she will have all the weapons you finished with. It is highly probable that you had very good weapons when you beat the scenario (mine were maxed out for both Zhao Yun and Xu Huang in one scenario). So if you haven't done any scenarios yet, I suggest doing A land in chaos last and as you go on through one scenario to another, since your weapons and stats will soon be completely maxed out, you should start maxing out other officers under your command (doesn't matter who) and when it come to the land of chaos, choose to be a ruler with your character and or your officers just picked the characters you maxed out. Now your whole army is filled up on weapons and will be very powerful from the start, making the beginning easier than it is. ellerkermike
Is Zhao Yun good as a ruler or an officer?
Sinister Reno
There really is no difference in Officer and ruler aside from the fact that if your ruler dies you lose it all while if the officer dies you lose the battle. If possible though I suggest making him ruler
ellerkermike
Okay i'll try that then. I already try with Yue Ying as a ruler but I had problem with losing officers.
Sinister Reno
Well with many of the battles the only thing to do is to connect your main camp to theirs and drop the enemy count in the camp to about 70 for the commander to appear. You should only focus on doing this or if someone is desperately in need of help then go to them first.
