This guide is only allowed to be used on the forums of http://www.xbox360achievements.org, and http://www.consoleheroes.com, unless permission is given by me.

Ok, I started this guide from scratch and included new information. This is a very extensive guide, and a long read. Proceed at your own risk.

If you are having trouble with any of the achievements, or PGR3 in general, feel free to PM me, Var18, talk to me on my AIM, Notre D 35, or ask for my MSN account. I no longer own this game, but having gotten 1000GS on it, I believe I can help if needed. Thanks, and enjoy!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgRank 10 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg

Achieve the status of rank 10.

*1/10* You need to obtain 1,000 Kudos to get this rank. This will come very early on.

See “Rank 1” for more information on Kudos.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgRank 5 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpgAchieve the status of rank 5.

*5/10* You need to obtain 160,000 Kudos to get to this rank. This is much harder than “Rank 10” and will take a good deal of time to get. However, don’t worry about this achievement; it will come as you progress through your career.

See “Rank 1” for more information on Kudos.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgRank 1 80 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpgAchieve the status of rank 1.

*8/10* You need to obtain 475,000 Kudos to get to this rank. This is very hard. However, you still don’t need to strive for this. When you get to Platinum “Cone Challenges”, you will earn more than 30,000 Kudos per race. You should get this one by then end of your Platinum career. If you still haven’t got it, just do some more “Cone Challenges”.

About Kudos: You earn Kudos for every drift you do. So, whenever you slide, you earn Kudos. You also earn Kudos for other things you do besides sliding. Refer to “Style Racing Badge” for more information on these moves. There is also a combo bonus that is added when you link two or more Kudos moves together. The more moves you link together, the higher the combo bonus. For “Cone Challenges”, you get a high combo bonus that results in a high number of Kudos points.

Don’t worry about Kudos when completing Career, and don’t restart races if you didn’t get a lot. You will naturally drift, and the rest of your Kudos can easily be gotten through “Cone Challenges”. Be sure to note that Kudos and Credits are two different things. Credits are earned for completing races, and are used as currency. Kudos are earned during races, and simply show how good of a driver you are (and get you achievements).

Play both "Geometry Wars" and "Geometry Wars Evolved".

*1/10* When selecting a car, choose “More options”, and then select “Walk around”. Look for two arcade machines, and select one of them. Play a level of the game, then quit. This will bring you back to the title screen. Repeat the process, but select the other game this time. Play a level, then quick the game.

Build 10 tracks.

*1/10* Go to Playtime, Route Creator, Create a New Route. Then choose a city, and build a track. Save your newly made track, and repeat the process nine more times. To speed things up, press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/lb.png to make a random track.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgPhotographer 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg

Take pictures in all the cities.

*1/10* This can be done anytime during a race. Take a picture and save the photo in each of the 5 cities (New York, Las Vegas, Tokyo, London, and Nürburgring). To take a picture, start a race, and press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/start.png. Then go to the sub-menu "Photo". Press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/a.png to take a picture, and then press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/a.png again to save it. If you forget to do this during your Offline career, remember to do this while you are trying to get "Race Against the Clock". If you forget both of these times, simply start up any race and take and save a picture in all the cities.

Win all steel trophies in Offline Career.

*2/10* The Novice difficulty is by far the easiest difficulty in this game. Computer opponents and goals you have to meet for events are utterly pathetic. The only reason for a ranking of 2/10 is because it takes a decent amount of time if you were to complete it without stacking it. If you are new to racing, this would be a good starting ground. However, once you get a good feel for the game, move right on to Easy difficulty (Bronze). Don't bother earning all the Steel trophies; the Offline Career achievements are stackable.

For more information, see "Platinum Champions".

Win all bronze trophies in Offline Career.

*3/10* Easy difficulty is harder than Steel, but still very easy. If you are a pretty good racer, start off here. You should be able to move your way up to Medium difficulty after you get a good feel for the game. Don't bother to win all the trophies at Bronze, because you will get them later when you try for Silver and up. At this point, you should try to start learning and looking at “Platinum Champion” to see what racing styles you will eventually have to use.

Win all silver trophies in Offline Career.

*5/10* If you are a good racer, this is the difficulty you should start at. Races will be getting harder, but they are still manageable. Try to start to practice the racing techniques in the "Platinum Champion" section, and try to get a good feel for all the race types. If Medium difficulty is getting to easy for you, move up to Gold (Hard) difficulty.

For more information, see "Platinum Champion".

Win all gold trophies in Offline Career.

*8/10* This is where the going gets tough. Gold difficulty is considerably hard compared to Silver difficulty. Gold difficulty is even comparable to Platinum difficulty at some points. If you’re at this point, really be sure you have reviewed the "Platinum Championship" section of this guide. Even though your races will not have to be perfect in order for you to win, they still need to be pretty darn good. Once you get really good on these, start trying to tackle Platinum career.

Win all Platinum trophies in Offline Career.

*10/10* If you have even made it to Platinum difficulty (Hardcore), you are truly a great racer. This is one of the most prized achievements. You will need to dedicate a lot of your time to this, but it is by no means impossible. You will get very frustrated at some points as well. Many of the harder races you will luckily win by less than 1/5th of a second. There is no margin for error here. Here are all of the event types, and the best way to accomplish them. Also note that all the “Championship” achievements are stackable. These types of races are arranged from easiest to hardest.

1. Speed Challenge: You will have to reach a certain speed by the time you cross the designated line in order to win. Use an A class car. When going around corners, be sure to NEVER drift. Brake hard, and steer around the corner tight. Try to aim for the apex of the turn, and try to brake as little as possible. However, it is better to brake too much than to brake too little. Accelerate off of the final turn, and hopefully you will meet the designated speed. I suggest the RUF Supercar, but if you haven’t unlocked that yet, I suggest the Enzo Ferrari. If you like a slower and more manageable car, choose the Ferrari F50. I don’t prefer ultra powerful cars like the Mclaren F1 Lm due to their tendency to spin out way too much.

2. Street Race: This is the main event of all racing games. You have to finish in front of all opponents in order to win. I suggest a car that is very fast compared to other cars in its class. The ones I used were the Enzo Ferrari, the Ferrari F50, and the RUF Supercar. I like the RUF Supercar the best, but you only earn that once you reach rank 1. Feel free to bump into other cars, and really strive to get into first place. Take your corners like described in the Speed Challenge section above. Once in first, you should use a tactic I like to call “Holding Your Position”. Utilize your rear view mirror (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/y.png) and stay in front of the person in second place. When he tries to pass you, pull in front of him to cut him off. However, do not get sloppy, because the computer cars will pass you if you make a bad turn.

3. Eliminator: Eliminators are much like Street Races. You race a number of opponents around the track a certain number of times. However, the person in last place after each lap is eliminated from the race. Treat this race exactly as if it was a Street Race, and you will have no problem. Use any car that you would normally use in a Street Race.

4. One-on-One: These races are essentially Street Races with only one computer opponent. Unfortunately, the computer opponent is a little tougher than normal computers in Street Races. Remember to make good turns on corners, and you should be good. Once in first place, use the “Holding Your Position” tactic that I described in the Street Race section. Use any car that you would normally use in a Street Race.

5. Overtake: Overtake challenges are a mix of Street Races and Hot Laps. Basically, you need to overtake, or pass, a certain number of cars. Think of the cars as “moving checkpoints”. Once you pass the destined amount of cars, you win the race. Treat this like a Hot Lap, and make really good turns. Pass the computer cars on the inside, and do not make any mistakes. You will win this type of event this in a few tries if you are good. I suggest either using the RUF Supercar, the Enzo Ferrari, or the Ferrari F50.

6. Time VS Kudos: Unlike the sections prior to this, Time VS Kudos challenges require not only skill but luck. You have to race around the track once within a certain time limit. However, the time limit is impossibly to achieve racing regularly. Your only hope is to stop the clock by earning Kudos. Your tactic should be to race fast down the long strips, and drift as much as possible when turning. After each drift ends, you will get 2 or 3 seconds before the clock starts again. If necessary, make short swerves in the middle of the rode in order to save time. Be sure to note that the maximum amount of time you can stop the clock for is 1 minute. Also be sure to note that it does not matter how many Kudos you earn per drift. If you only earned 5 Kudos, the time delaying effect would not be different from earning 1000 Kudos, besides the fact that the timer resumes 2 seconds after the drift ends. This is a tough challenge, but after some tries you will be able to win. I suggest either using the RUF Supercar or the Enzo Ferrari.

7. Drift Challenge: These challenges involve much more luck than races and are really not skill based at all. You have a certain amount of time to get a number of Kudos. Usually the challenge is something like “Get 3,000 Kudos in 20 seconds”. This may seem hard, and is, but can be accomplished with a bit of luck. The trick is to link a lot of combos together. Go fast into the first corner, and make a good drift. Now maintain your combo while you approach the second corner by swerving across the road. Continue this and try to get a high amount of combo points that would result in you completing the objective. Now, some common sense needs to be applied here. Do not try and link the first corner and second corner if they are really far apart. Also, do not read this Drift Challenge guide word-for-word because there are obviously exceptions during your career. This is not very tough, but requires concentration and a lot of luck. I suggest either using the RUF Supercar or the Enzo Ferrari.

8. Breakthrough: Breakthrough events are very difficult. Unlike Street Races, there is no special method to stop the computer from getting in front of you, due to the fact that there are no computer opponents. The basic concept of Breakthrough events is that you have a certain amount of time in the beginning of the race, and you must increase your time by passing checkpoints. Once you reach the determined amount of checkpoints, you win. It is harder than it sounds because of the small amount of time that you are expected to complete the race in. Just remember to make really good turns, and you will eventually win this event. I suggest either using the RUF Supercar, the Enzo Ferrari, or the Ferrari F50.

9. Hot Lap: This event is difficult as well. You really need a lot of skill to complete hot lap events. It is very important to turn properly here, due to the fact that you will most likely win/lose these races by a fraction of a second. Keep trying, and once you get a near perfect race you will win. Also, if you are having trouble with a certain car, feel free to choose a different one. I suggest either using the RUF Supercar, the Enzo Ferrari, or the Ferrari F50.

10. Timed Run: This event is almost identical to Hot Laps. The only difference is that the layout of the race is not in a lap format, but rather a race from one point to the other. Use the same tactics that you used for Hot Laps here. Unfortunately, there is another difference with Hot Laps and Timed Runs. Hot Laps tend to be much easier than Timed Runs. Therefore, you must complete near perfect races in order to win one of these events. Remember to make really good turns. Brake before you turn, aim for the apex, accelerate out of the turn, and end up on the other side of the road. If all of your turns are near perfect, you will win this event. Also, if you are having trouble with a certain car, feel free to choose a different one. I suggest either using the RUF Supercar, the Enzo Ferrari, or the Ferrari F50.

11. Cone Challenge: Cone Challenges are the most difficult race type. If you are extremely lucky and good, you might beat these on your first try. However, most of us are not very lucky at all. Time and patience are the keys to beating this type of event. The event consists of a time limit and a number of Kudos that you need to reach. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. The amount of Kudos you need is around 30,000 for each event. However, you have something to help you achieve this ridiculous amount of Kudos. This is where the cones come in. There are cone “gates” spread throughout the race that are about the size of 1.5-2 cars. Each of these cones gives a mere 10 Kudos points, which isn’t much. However, each cone gate increases your combo multiplier by 1. Normally you will have around a x50 combo by the end of the race. This huge combo allows you to get a whole lot of points for your drift. In order to complete this event on Hardcore difficulty, you need to both go through every cone gate without hitting the cones, and drift during corners to get your Kudos up. Aim to get every cone gate, and drift when necessary and you will beat this event. I strongly suggest the RUF Supercar, but if you haven’t earned that yet go with the Enzo Ferrari.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgStyle Racer Badge 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg

Achieve these badges: 25m Power Slide, 10x Combo, 25k Online Kudos, 1k Kudos in a Race, Kudos for Every Maneuver

*5/10* You have to get all of these badges to get this achievement. Here are some tips for each badge:

-25m Power Slide: You need to do a power slide over 25 meters. I suggest a medium speed car, like the Ferrari F50. Select the Nürburgring F1 Circuit. Go forwards past the first sharp turn. Once you start to round the big corner shaped like a mushroom, hit the E-brake (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/a.png) to send yourself in a drift. Try to get the right angle and speed to maintain the drift. This should come pretty easy, and you will most likely get this sometime in your career.

-10x Combo: This should also come very easy. If you’re having trouble linking drifts together, just do a “Cone Challenge” event in career. Drive through 10 cones in a row, and you will get this.

-25k Online Kudos: Get a total of 25,000 Kudos online. This does not mean get a total of 25,000 Kudos while you are connected to Xbox Live, but rather during all your Online Career matches. You will most likely get this while going for “Online Professional”, specifically when you are completing all scenarios. If you haven’t gotten this after and are really striving for it, just race with a friend in Online Career and drift a lot.

-1k Kudos in a race: This is extremely easy. Don’t worry about this badge, as you will definitely earn it sometime in your career.

-Kudos for every maneuver: This is a really trick badge. Despite the description, you have to get every kudos maneuver in a single race. However, this isn’t impossible, and can be done. I'll make a quick guide on how to do this. But first, here are the moves you have to do in a race. I divided them up into 4 sections.

-360!: Spin your car around in a 360, like a doughnut.

-Air: Get your car in the air.

-Two Wheels: Have two wheels touching the ground, and two in the air.

-Braking Drift: Come into a turn, and slam on the brakes and turn at the same time.

-Braking Feint: Come in to a turn fast, and ease off the gas. Then try to go into a feint drift, but as you start to turn slam on the brakes. This one will take a few tries.

-Braking Power Over: Go fast into a corner, then ease of the gas and glide into the corner. Then slam on the brakes and turn.

-Drift: Drift your car. This is easily gotten by driving in the grass.

-E-Brake Slide: Use the E-brake (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/a.png) to drift.

-Feint Drift: When the turn comes up, steer in the opposite direction of the turn shortly, then steer quickly in the direction of the turn to send your car drifting sideways by using the car’s weight transfer to drift.

-Power Feint: Ease off of the gas as you approach a corner, and then execute a feint. Once you turn in the right direction, apply the gas.

-Power Over: Slide by steering too much and using your car’s revs to send you drifting.

-Combo Bonus: Link one of the above maneuvers.

-Drafting: Draft behind a car.

-Overtake: Overtake an opponent.

-Overtake (Draft): Draft behind an opponent, then overtake them.

-Clean Section: Don’t touch a wall during a section of a race.

-Clean Race: Finish the race without touching a wall.

-Fastest Lap: Have a faster lap than the opponents.

-Top Speed: Have the highest top speed out of all the cars in the race.

-Position Bonus: Win the race.

Here is what you should do: Go to the last race in career- the F1 circuit. There are 3 laps I believe. Set the difficulty to steel and start the race. Be sure not to crash into walls the entire race. Let the computer cars get in front of you a bit, then cross the starting line and do a 360! in the grass to the right. Get back on the road, and continue on the large U turn. Once finished with this turn, put the pedal to the floor and go straight. If you did it right, you should jump into the crass, getting Air kudos. Proceed up to the next left turn, turn, and go off the road (but still on some pavement) on the left side. Come back on to the road, and you should go on two wheels.

Now you should have the first three maneuvers done. spend the rest of this first lap, and maybe the beginning of the second lap, doing all of the drifts (second section). You should also get a Combo Bonus. Don't worry about catching up to the computer, as they go very slow, even in A class cars.

Next, catch up to the computer cars. Draft behind one of them, then overtake it. Next, overtake another car without drafting behind them. You should then have done all the kudos maneuvers in the first 3 sections.

You should be mid-late second lap now. It doesn't matter much, as it is now time to race. The last section of kudos moves are ones you should get during/after the race. Don't crash into, or touch, any walls. Once you start your third lap, turn up the intensity and race like a pro for a fast lap and get a good top speed. This should be easy as all you have to do is go faster than the steel leveled computer cars. Finally, win the race, and the badge is yours. If you did not earn this badge, you probably forgot to do a drift or other maneuver. Try again, and you will hopefully get it.

*4/10* You need to win the Pro Racer badge, which requires you to win a Platinum race with manual transmission on. There is a glitch to this achievement that aids you. First, you must be able to complete a Platinum Speed Challenge with automatic transmission. Once that is done, change the difficulty to Novice, and beat it again with manual transmission turned on. The achievement will unlock.

In order to turn manual transmission on, go to More, Options, General, and then Gears. Change the gear to manual. Be sure to change it back after you get this achievement. To go up a gear in manual transmission, press http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/b.png.

Watch 10 races on Gotham TV.

*1/10* You have to watch someone else's live race on Xbox Live 10 tens to get this achievement (not the same one 10 times, but rather 10 different races 10 times). What I suggest is look for a group doing a boosting session, and watch the races as they boost on “Gotham TV”. Do this 10 times on different races. If the achievement doesn't pop up, go back to your Xbox 360 dashboard. Then, load PGR3 back up again. The achievement should unlock.

This has worked for "Mtld", a forum member:

1- I deleted all my saved replays

2- I watched 10 races in Gotham TV. I used Tournament feed during a tournament. There are 8 races over 2 hours, so getting 10 replays is easy. WATCH THE WHOLE REPLAY.

3- After 10 (I did 12, just for sure), I went to the first Street Race, put it on easy, beat it, and saved my replay.

4- I backed out of the game to the main screen, reloaded my profile, and FINALLY got the achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgGotham Hero 30 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg

Be featured on Gotham TV.

*1/10* This can only be done in Online Career. While going for “Online Professional”, you will get this. Random matches are featured on Gotham TV, but since this game is old you are basically guaranteed to be featured. This achievement will unlock after you finish the race, no matter what your position.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgRace Against the Clock 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg

Complete every single race in "Race Against the Clock" mode.

*4/10* This can be done by completing at least one lap in all of the provided race tracks. Go to “Playtime”, and then select “Race Against the Clock”. Select and complete one lap in each of the locations in New York, Las Vegas, Tokyo, London, and Nuremburg. This might take anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours. When you finish a lap, simply quit the game and start on the next race.

Achieve these badges: 50 Online Races, Start Last/Finish 1st, 3-Event Win Streak, Clean Race, Win Each Scenario.

*6/10* You need to get all of these badges. This will take a while, but is not really hard and can be boosted easily. Here is a breakdown of each badge:

-50 Online Races: This will take a while. Focus on the other badges first, and then go for this one. Note that you do not have to win 50 online races, but just finish 50 of them. Also note that these have to be races in the Online Career.

-Start Last/Finish 1st: Start an Online Career with your friends, and hopefully you will be in the back of the grid. If you are, win the race and you will get this achievement.

-3-Event Win Streak: Just win 3 Online Career races in a row. If you need to, ask your friends to let you win.

-Clean Race: You cannot hit any walls in an Online Career event in order to get this badge. Just play it safe, and finish the race. Be extra careful, and race slowly. Note that you do not have to win the race in order to get this badge.

-Win Each Scenario: This also takes a while to get. You should get 3 friends, and join a party chat with them. Select one of the 8 “Online Career” scenarios, and join the lobby. Tell your friends to join the lobby as well. If you wait long enough, the PGR3 server will pair you up with your friends. Now start the race, and win it. Repeat this 7 other times in each of the other scenarios. Note that you need to win at least once in each scenario. Also, remember that these races go towards your “50 Online Races” badge.

Thanks to Cybiotik, here is a new section for matching up with friends online:

After experimenting with a few games, I have made a few quick notes on the way the matchmaking system works in PGR3...(not very well), but there are some ways around it that you can use to get matched up. You need 3 others who still need this achievement, however; there are some requirements for those to be able to join and make matchmaking easy.

1)Location: You must be in the following countries to be matched up fast and correctly. (Canada, United States, United Kingdom) and if you are from Europe, try to team up with three other Europeans. Yes I understand that UK countries are European but they also are hard to match up with other countries.

*Trick: If you have two Xbox 360’s available, you can connect both to the internet and they will both match up easily to your game.

2)Level: You must be above a level 10 in your PGR3 online career. The matchmaking system distinguishes from 15 points between levels. So 1-10 will be matched up, 10-30, and finally 30-50. There are occasions when a really high and low level will be matched up.

*For those who are under level 10, play a few Gotham Duel races for they are quick and you will always get matched. Only need to win 1 or 2 races to get to level 11-15 so it should be easy.

3)Peer Review: It makes it easier by 15-20% for all of us to be matched up if you leave good player feedback to your fellow racers, so upon entering the lobby just leave 3 good feedback messages to all who are joining the cause. Easy.

4. Races: Race a few races in a scenario which only features 1 map, such as the Nurbigring scenario. This allows for the people to be matched up easier because the maps are not switching as often. Also once you get matched up, the second, third and fourth time will be exponentially easier until it takes mere seconds to be matched up.

5. Same Car: Pick the same car class and car. This allows you to be easier matched for some reason so it is good to pick the lowest class and the least powerful car in that class, as most people pick the faster cars and that will make you and your team unique and easier matched.

*Last tip: If you have never played with your team of three others, jump inside a few quick Gotham Duels, once matched up with anyone of these people will set a chain reaction, and it will make it easier to be matched up with them again. Try to play at least one Duel race before trying for the achievement.

NOTE: You can view the badges you have got anytime by looking in the menu “Achievements”, then the submenu “Badges”.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/93/pgr3-01-FJeusgr.jpgTournament Qualifier 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.jpg

Qualify for a tournament and play in the first elimination round.

*6/10* Tournaments are hard to qualify for, and usually require hours to get a really good time. However, you are in luck, because not many people play this game. This may work against you in some ways, because tournaments will be less numerous as time runs on. Ok, go to “Gotham Career”, then “Tournaments”. Look for a tournament that is still in “qualification”. Select it and you will start the race. You will need to get within the top 64 times in the world to qualify. Race around the track as fast as possible, and repeat as many times as you see fit to get the best time. Be sure to brake before you turn, and accelerate out of the turn. Try to hug the edge of the road also. Remember, NEVER drift. It really cuts down on your speed. Once you feel you have gotten a really good time, (and I mean REALLY good. You basically need a flawless lap to qualify.) exit the race and submit your qualifying time. Don’t worry if you didn’t rank well because you can always go back to re-qualify. Another good tip is to try to qualify the last day of qualification, so you have a better chance of not being bumped out of the top 64.

Once you qualify, the rest is easy. Now all you have to do is play in the first elimination round. However, the description is misleading. All you have to do is enter the lobby of your match at the time you are supposed to race. There is a 15 minute waiting period between the lobby’s opening and the start of the race, so don’t worry if you are a bit late. After you get your achievement, feel free to stick around and race if you wish.

Win a Cat & Mouse Event as the player in the E class vehicle.

*1/10* Find three other friends who are willing to boost with you. Then, go to Playtime, Play on Xbox Live, and Create Race. Choose Cat and Mouse, and select a random city. Pick a short route, and set the laps to 1. Now invite your three friends. Set it up so that two people are on the blue team, and two are on the red team. Each team must have at least one A class car, and one E class car. Select an E class car for yourself, and then start the race. Tell the other team to let you win, and cross the finish line before the other E class car does.

Win a Cat & Mouse Event as a player in a non E class vehicle.

Win a Cone Capture Event

*1/10* Find a friend who is willing to boost with you. Then, go to Playtime, Play on Xbox Live, and Create Race. Create a Cone Capture event with the time limit at 6 minutes. Invite your friend, and win the game by hitting more cones than him.

Be on the winning team of a Team Cone Capture Event

*1/10* Find a friend who is willing to boost with you, Then, go to Playtime, Play on Xbox Live, and Create Race. Create a Cone Capture event with the time limit at 6 minutes. Invite your friend, and win the game. If he needs the achievement too, there is an easy way to get you both it. Use RB to change his team and your team to the same one in the lobby. Then start the match and complete the event. You will both get the achievement because your team will win due to the lack of another team.

Forgive me for being blunt but what the hell is the point of this guide??? I mean what are you bringing to the table that the other (complete) guide doesn't have??? Sorry but why make an incomplete guide, when there was a guide made over a year ago.

The other guide is useless. To be blunt. It doesn't help at all. All it gives is renaming the achievements, and other trivial info for cars, etc.

My new guide will actually help people get Platinum Champion, unlike the other guide.

EDIT: I have been working on Road Maps, so this guide isn't complete yet.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm not finnished with the platinum challenges yet, I've got like 2 or 3 trophies left to grab. But what I've found working for me is only using the fastest cars in every class. Start a new challenge of with the fastest car in the E class (the Ferrari F355 GTS) and if that doesn't work out for you, just move up one class. And if that doesn't work move to class C, etc. There's really no point in trying to do everything with A class cars since your opponents will drive cars from the same class as you.

So basicly you only need the fastest car in every class plus the Ultima GTR for cone challenges.

I'm almost done the guide, maybe a week or so more

im repsonse to this quote: Yes, it is good to use the top fo the class cars. However, it is much easier to use C, B, or A class cars for some reason. I think the AI goes down a bit the higher class cars you get. and also the margin of difference is each of the A cars is much higher, providing you with more of an advantage.

Thank you for the compliments guys :)

Yes, it's easier with high class cars, asuming you handle them well. Most people handle class E cars better than they handle class A cars tho.

Yea, but E class cars are so boring! :). You can't take that much fun out of the game.

Update: I am just finishing up the Platinum Challenge section today, and then it is basicly done. Once I submit the guide, I will post it here. Prepare for 13 Microsoft Word pages of excitement! :)

It was fun playing with you also. The RUF super car is a great one for cone challenges and speed challenges. It also got me past the one race that I had given up on being able to beat. I am going for 1000 now, 40 events to go.

Thanks also to Zeppelin for his tips, and everyone who helped me get online professional the other day.

Glad everyone enjoys it.

I'm of my xbox for a bit, if gotham TV doesn't work you have to watch live games (as in games played by people online). While your friends are boosting, just watch 10 of their sessions. that should do the trick.

Yes it does.

Maybe you should redo that part and write that the best times are when the tournament

elimination rounds happen.

Just go to Gotham TV at least 15 minutes past the start of the session and watch the

live feed (or the recording after that).

I'm doing it and never miss a round.

If you follow the whole tournament, you can easily get the achievement.

When you watch an elimination round, there is always another one starting 15 minutes

later. So, hopefully, in 2 or 3 days, if you follow the tournament, you can get it with

little effort.

I hope to get it soon.
