Introduction:

From Dust is a great action and strategy game that is often easy to complete. In From Dust you control The Breath, a God-like creature, and you must absorb certain types of matter: earth, water, lava and plants, to help your people move on to the next lands.

From Dust requires between 10 and 13 hours of your time, filled with both fun and frustration, to collect the 200http://tinyurl.com/gicon.

The Story:

Here you wil start your adventure in From Dust. Follow the Story Mode Guide that you can find under the Last Breath achievement and you will have little trouble to collect 10 of the 12 achievements in this playthrough within 10-11 hours.

During the game you will unlock Memories Of The Tribe by collecting relics, gaining 100% vegetation on each map and by simply completing the levels. These memories will give you more information about the people you have to save and the dangers they face.

If you miss a relic you can simply check this guide over HERE and replay the level to find the relic.

The Challenges:

After completing the story and having obtained all the memories and 100% vegetation on every map, you will have unlocked every challenge. All that's left to do to collect the 200http://tinyurl.com/gicon is to complete these challenges. Most of these are quite easy and done in no time, but there are also those that requires a bit of practice and trial and error. If you follow the Challenge Guide that you will also find under the Last Breath achievement you will know how to complete them and you'll be done within 2-3 hours.

Conclusion:

You should now have the 200http://tinyurl.com/gicon that this game has to offer. If you missed anything simply go to the main menu, play and then Story or Challenge Mode.

Powers are found when creating your village near a totem with a power. Once you have found a power you can find it on the D-Pad. This will most likely come in time.

As I unlocked it before level 12, I do not know if the powers you have there also count.

Pick up earth, water, lava or plants with :ltbut:, and drop with :rtbut:. If you hold :ltbut: and :rtbut: at the same time everything you have absorbed will be dropped in one go

Sometimes you can stop a river completely, to do this pick up some earth or lava and drop it on the source of the river. This won't always work as sometimes the earth is simply washed away after a time.

As soon as enough land is covered for the vegetation-gauge to say 100% and you have all the relics you can leave. To leave a level send your people to the passage, a stone face, and hit :abut: while hovering above it.

Activate powers using the D-pad and deactivate them by hitting the same key on the D-pad.

Story Mode Guide:

Level 0: The Breath

Nothing to do but create the breath by holding :ltbut: and then to guide your people to the passage. Use :ltbut: to absorb earth and :rtbut: to drop it in the water to help your people cross it. Once they reach the passage hit :abut: on the passage to complete the level.

Level 1: The Ritual

Simply connect the land and block the waterfall. While waiting for the land to be covered you should grab the relic on the mountain next to the second totem, simply send someone over there and when (s)he is there hit :abut:. When you grabbed it and the vegetationgauge says 100% go through the passage to finish the level.

Level 2: The Roar Of The Sea

Bring the people to the first totem to start the village. You will then get a warning about a tsunami. So bring a man to the knowledge of Repel Water by first connecting the land and then redirecting the river, which blocks your path, near its source.

As soon as your shaman picked up the knowledge he will go back to the village and will spread it. The first tsunami will be repelled, but another will come within 8 minutes, in which you must create a village near the second totem and you must spread the knowledge of repel water to that village as well, otherwise it will be destroyed. So guide your villagers to the totem and create a village, best way to do this is to grab a large amount of land and create a dam, so this river will get redirected as well, preferably in a way so that it streams right of the second totem.

Connect the land of the second totem to the last bit of land containing the passage, send your people over there and just wait for the vegetation to spread and leave through the passage.

Level 3: The First Power

After building the village and seeing the tsunami strike, go near the volcano for the knowledge of Repel Water and bring it back to the first village. While waiting for the second tsunami strike keep picking up lava and throwing it on the wall behind the second totem. Keep doing this until after the third tsunami, after which you will see that no water will pass the wall in such a way that it will destroy a village (if it does keep absorbing and dropping lava). When it's safe, build your second village.

Go back to picking up and dropping lava to redirect the river, the one that begins next to the volcano, so that it flows towards your first totem. Start picking up the earth near the volcano, which respawns, and dropping it over the stone so that vegetation can grow there. Now send your men to the third totem and hit :dup: to use the Jellify Water power and move aside the water between the second and third totem so that your men can cross.

After the village is created, keep picking up land and covering stone until you have a 100% vegetation after which you can leave, unless you want the Krakatau achievement now.

If you do want the Krakatau achievement now you can keep on absorbing lava and dropping it somewhere, not on your village ofcourse. I don't know how much lava you need to pick up.

Level 4: The Thousand Sources

Pick up land and drop it on the source of the stream, which is close to your people, then send them to the first totem and build a village. After that grab the knowledge of Repel Water and head up to the second totem, which requires you to drop land on the cliff so that your people can run up.

To the right of your second totem there will be be sources of water hidden beneath the land, so remove the land and use it to build a dam so the water doesn't get the chance to drown any villages (in case the knowledge has not spread yet). Keep picking up land right of the second totem to unearth more sources and drop that land on the dead vegetation, that men cannot cross, near the third totem to allow them to cross it. Water can also be used to remove the dead vegetation. When you can send men to the third totem do so, if they ask for help hit :dright: to evaporate the water and allow passage.

By the time that you created the third village you probably have 100% vegetation. Now you should pick up the relic to the left of your first village. It will be on a hill so you will probably have to throw earth on the hill so that he can climb up.

After you picked up the relic and have 100% vegetation send your people to the passage and use Evaporate to give passage if needed, if your people did not reach the passage by the time Evaporate ended, use Jellify water immediatly to hold of the water. As soon as your people have left hit :abut: on the passage to leave.

Level 5: Wildfires

Send the men to the first totem to build a village. Then send them to the second one, which you should replace, as told, after building. Send someone to pick up the relic left of the new location of the second village and replace your first village next to your second village. Place the water trees away from the villages to make sure you are safe of dangers.

Go build a village at the third totem, which you should place next to the other villages. Now build the fourth village and quickly relocate the fire trees so that they don't burn this village.

Now wait for a 100% vegetation, for which you might want to replace some villages. After you have 100% vegetation you can leave unless you want the Amazon achievement now. As soon as you leave the Hell achievement will unlock.

If you do want the Amazon achievement now, simply keep uprooting a water tree with :ltbut: and replanting it with :rtbut: until it pops.

Level 6: Waves

Build a village at the first totem. Then build one near the Jellify Water totem and grab the relic near the second totem. Then grab the knowledge of Repel Water above the second totem.

You will probably have noticed that the land, and the water, between the knowledge of Repel Water and the third totem, Amplify The Breach, keeps shifting. So while collecting the knowledge you should use Jellify Water. Once the knowledge is spread build a village near the third totem and use Jellify Water to keep it safe.

Then you should build a village near the fourth totem, Put Out Fire, and here you should use Jellify Water as well to keep the village safe until they know how Repel Water.

When everyone knows how to repel water, grab an explosive tree and place it near the wall, then grab a fire tree and place it on the explosive tree to destroy the wall. Keep doing this until you can send your people through.

Leave as soon as you have 100% vegetation.

Level 7: Hightides

Send men to build a vilage at the second totem, Jellify Water, and use Amplify The Breath to hold back the water to help your people make it. Wait for it to be build and to have gained the knowledge of Repel Water. Then let the knowledge spread to the first village.

(Saving right now is recomended!) Now grab the fire trees near the third totem, Engulf All, and place them somewhere safe, so they burn nothing. Surround the third totem with earth so that the water is held away, this requires almost all the earth that you have so far. When no water can go near the third totem start building a village there, when they know how to repel water you can take away the earth and place it all in another opening to the right.

(Saving again is recomended!) Then, when the water withdraws, send the men to the fourth totem, Infinite Earth, and start building. The water will come back so use Jellify Water to hold it back and if needed use Engulf All to help in your defences as well. Eventually this village has gained the knowledge of Repel Water as well, so you can start covering the world with earth. When you have 100% vegetation, leave this place.

Level 8: The Tears Of Stone

Build a village at the closest totem and then gather lava to block the right stream, near the source, so you can collect the knowledge of Repel Lava. Then block the left stream so you can build a village at the Put Out Fire totem. When you have two villages, both with the knowledge, block the right stream at the source of the lavariver, so that the lava will stream on the left. Then when the volcano has erupted go build the village on the right and spread the knowledge, afterwards gather the knowledge of Repel Water. While waiting for the volcano to erupt grab the relic that you will find at the top of the volcano.

When the villages have Repel Water and Repel Lava you can start going for the fourth, Engulf All. The fourth is covered in water, to the right of the volcano. So first you should use Jellify Water and then with the help op Amplify The Breath gather all to water away from the source, which is above the totem, and then block it with earth. Now build the village and you'll see that water comes pouring out, making the volcano 'cool down' and it will help cover the stone with earth, so just wait until you have 100% vegetation and then leave.

Level 9: The Raging Earth

Build your village near the Amplify The Breath totem, and use the earth around this totem to block the first three water rivers and first branch of the fourth river so you can easily send someone to pick up Repel Lava.

After your village knows how to repel lava, you want to use the lava to make a wall in such a way that all the lava streams towards your village, this way you can easily grab the Repel Water and build a village near the Infinite Earth totem later. After grabbing the Repel Water wait for the tsunami to strike, if there is one approaching in ~25 seconds, and build a village near the Jellify Water totem and wait for the knowledge to spread. If the tsunami broke through the little dam you build earlier, rebuild it first.

Now build a village near the totem Engulf All, and again wait for the knowledge to spread. As it has spread send a man to collect the relic just to the right of this village. The last thing to do is claim the last village, use lava to rebuild the wall to make sure it streams straight for your first village, that way your men can go past without harm. Use earth to help them get over the wall if needed.

Now just use Infinite Earth to help cover the world with vegetation and leave once you have 100%.

Level 10: Emergence

Start by making roads and creating and clearing the islands for all the totems. Then create some roads to the knowledge of Repel Water and Repel Lava. And as soon as you finished making all the islands and roads start creating a village near the Infinite Earth totem, and then grab the Repel Water. Create the other villages and grab the Repel Lava near the Jellify Water totem.

Now all that is left is to grab the relic, which you will find between the spawn point and the Amplify The Breath totem right across the volcano (it's quite far away from the shore). Make a road over there and collect it.

Now just keep expanding islands until you have 100% vegetation

Level 11: Movements

Starter Tips:

As soon as it rains use Evaporate!

Build walls with lava and Infinite Earth.

Build your first village near the Evaporate totem. After sending your men, bring as many explosive trees as you can and set them in the lake next to your future village. As your men are running towards the totem, keep them alive and use the lava to build a wall between the future village and the source of the lava. After that send men to collect Repel Lava. Use Evaporate to remove all the water so your men can pick it up and deliver it. While waiting create a village near Infinite Earth and when it is done, move it next to your first village, if you weren't fast enough you can use Infinite Earth to raise it so it doesn't flood. Then use Evaporate to remove the water. Now keep building a wall with lava around your two villages while waiting for the third rain and eruption. After which you should build a wall around Jellify Water, until it is about as high as the previous, and then create a village. Keep on building the walls and use Infinite Earth to help the shaman carry Repel Lava to the Jellify Water village. When its over rebuild the wall as much as possible and prepare for rain. Now wait for the lava to withdraw a bit, which will take a while as you might not want to have the risk of the rain drowning your villages.

After that build a wall around the last totem, and when it is as high as the previous walls build a village. Spam Infinite Earth on the ground to get 100% vegetation, not to close to the lava ofcourse, and leave. As soon as you leave the End Of Our Journey achievement will unlock.

Note: If you always use Evaporate when it rains it is quite possible to not lose a village here.

I lost one village, because I ended Evaporate BEFORE the rain stopped, this made one of my villages drown. So don't I would suggest not to disable Evaporate before the rain ends.

A second solution by Maka can be found HERE.

Level 12: Origins

Build your totem with :abut:. Then use the D-pad to use your powers to create earth, water, lava and plants. Just use earth to make some place for your totems and once there is enough place a totem with :abut:.

Either experiment and do it as you wish or keep on following the guide:

Keep your villages together and position them in a square and put them high . Now just make enough earth and cover it with plants. When you reach 50% you will unlock the last memory and thus unlocking the Memories Found achievement, if all other memories have been found. And when you reach 100% you unlock the Green Thumbs achievement and the ability to place the sanctuary.

Warning: Starting the creation of the sanctuary is irreversible and can be terrible as it is quite random, since it depends on the land you build and how far you placed the sanctuary away from your village(s).

Once your ready place the sanctuary as close to one of the villages as possible and make your people storm it and spam :abut:. Once your people passed through the Sanctuary achievement will be unlocked, if you lost less then 5 villages then the Safe Journey achievement will pop as well.

Challenge Guide:

A video guide for all the challegens with commentary can be found HERE - by x CmOn3y x

After completing Story Mode, by following the Story Mode Guide, go to the main menu, hit play and then Challenge Mode.

Page 1:

Fire!. Absorb water and throw it on the fire to extinguish it.

Running in the rain. Send the men to build the village and just absorb the water to help them pass. You have 7 people and you only need 5 to build a village, so no worries if one dies.

Bail Out. Send the shaman to pick up the knowledge while you absorb all the water from the lake and throw it in the sea, then just wait for the shaman to spread the knowledge and your village is safe.

The Big Wave. Send the shaman to pick up the knowledge and then remove the water between the first and second village. Then absorb earth and drop it in the sea to make a road between the second and third village.

Canyoning. Send the shaman to pick up the knowledge, meanwhile absorb some water. Once your shaman has the knowledge drop the water on him to help him down the mountain. Now let the shaman get to the village and spread the knowledge to safe the village.

Pump it up, thanks to Namepending. Collect earth and throw it in each lake, two balls of earth is enough to make each one flood and thus protect your vilage from fire.

Xuenylom, thanks to Namepending. Pick up lava and use it to destroy your first village, don't worry because you don't have to save this village. Then use lava to close the gaps near the start of the river. And there you have it, you saved the villages.

Page 2:

Aquasplash. Send your shaman to pick up the knowledge while waiting for him to arrive keep absorbing water from the small lake above, and dumping it in the sea. He should be able to make it without screaming for help. When going back you need to absorb the rivers, so he can pass. After he has passed drop the water and get ready to absorb the next rivers. When he passed the last river the tsunami will approach, but he can easily make it.

Waterfall. Simply absorb water and throw it just a bit above the shaman to help him down, as soon as he is past the vegetation he should be able to make it in a bit.

Guardian Angel. Bring the village with Repel Lava, the one on the right of the volcano, in front of the volcano to block the lava. Then wait for your shaman to spread the knowledge and save both villages.

Explosions. Just pick up the explosion trees and place them on the right wall, where the wall is smallest/thinnest, the wall will blow up and the lava will pour into the sea. Add more explosion trees, even when the lava is already pouring into the sea, to make sure nothing goes towards your village.

Sacrifice, thanks to Zim & Loopstahblue. Send your people to create a village at the next totem and absorb earth with :ltbut: at the back of your village, hold it down till you absorb everything you can, and use it create a path for your men, two balls should be enough. Then send a shaman to the knowledge of Repel Water and keep absorbing earth and using it to make a path for him, watch out that you leave a clear path, as the shaman, for me at least, spawns at the first village (even when the second village has already been built). It takes about all the earth of that little island you started at to create a path to the knowledge. It takes ~30 seconds for your shaman to turn back and spread the knowledge, so when there is still ~0:25 on the timer you're safe, as the tsunami still needs to hit land, but if you're quick enough you'll be done before the tsunami even hits.

Gospel. Send the shaman to pick up the knowledge. When he reaches the water use Jellify Water and make a road for him. When the path is clear, remove some water near the shore so he doesn't drown. Then wait for him to come back.

Hell. Just like Fire!, absorb some water, the only water pit is on the left side of the hill near the start of the fire, and drop it on either the left or the right side of the top of the hill, keep doing this and extinguish the fire.

Page 3:

Fluids. Nothing too difficult, send the shaman to the knowledge, which can be found on the right, just pick up some earth to make the road. Then while waiting for him to return gather earth and block the gaps so that the river doesn't drown your village. And there you have it the village is safe.

Collapse. Immediatly grab as much lava as you can and draw a line from the start to them totem, you will need one ball of lava and a bit for that, then send your people to build a village. Grab some more lava and raise the wall if needed to help your people.

Epic Tsunamis. First you might want try it once or twice to see where the water goes, this isn't necessary though. Now just use your powers to save your villages by raising them. Do this with the help of a a combo of Infinite Earth and Amplify The Breath, which will give you the ability to dump a massive amount of earth.

Ditch. It's not difficult, just requires timing and a bit of luck. Move you explosive trees down to your village, then wait for the fire to cross the water trees after which water will extinguish most of the fire, now place your explosive trees in the middle of the fire, between the water trees. A small ditch is made and the fire and water will gather there, killing each other off.

Countdown. Just use your powers to create a straight wall, so no need for any circling, on both sides of your villages, keep adding earth until you win.

Migration. Hit :abut: on your village and move it behind the spiky mountain, use your powers and earth to create a road from your current village to the new one. After your people have migrated, open a path for the water, so that a wall of water is made between the village and the spiky mountain, and then just wait for the challenge to be completed.

Nitro. Quite frustrating and it will probably take some tries. All I can tell you is that you need to be fast, and make sure that the water streams down towards your village. The village is on a hill so it won't easily be destroyed by water. Use your explosive trees to make a chain from the wall, that blocks the water, down to the fire. Through trial and error you will have made a chain and saved your village. It took me about 10 times to get this one done.

Page 4:

Quicksand. Simply grab as much lava as you can and surround your village with it, it requires only one ball of lava and a bit, to make a complete wall to completely safe your village.

Atlantis. Keep moving your village to the next island by using the earth to make a road. Make sure that your last village is close to the coast, so your people can save it faster.

Irony. Simply gather lava and use it on the water to carve a path for the two shamans. Then gather more lava and drop a bit on top of the dead vegetation, you will then see that your paths have be destroyed so fix these again, first the path for the water shaman. Then when both shamans can cross gather more lava and use it at the top of the volcano to prevent it from going over and having a chance to destroy your vilage.

Drill. First keep gathering earth and use it to create a wall around the knowledge of repel water, make sure to place the wall on the inner edge of the lake. Once no more water can go in use Engulf All and drain the lake, after about 30 seconds you will have everything so cancel the ability, drop the water in the sea if needed and send your shaman, he will do the rest.

A second solution, thanks to SteamboatWi11y. Send your shaman after the knowledge and then just use earth to raise the knowledge out of the lake. Then just create a path to it following the earth you can see beneath the sea.

Sunken Secret. Send your shaman to grab the knowledge and use your powers to create a path straight to it for him. No problems here.

Trees Of Water. Ignore the fire, first make a wall to protect your village from the water that the water trees release. When the water is hold out, it will most likely extinguish the fire but you can still use your powers to collect balls of earth and then dump it over the fire to extinguish it as well.

Deadly Crossing. First grab a ball of lava and use it to raise the wall of the middle platform. Then send your men to the totem and once they are on the middle platform, place the explosive tree in the middle of the first path and then grab a bit of lava to detonate the tree. Then keep absorbing lava and use it to create a path to the totem for your people.

Page 5:

Wagon Of Fire, thanks to Zim. First grab some water and drop it on the first water trees to empty them. Then wait for the flames to move past the first water trees (While waiting for the flames you might want to gather some water around your village, leaving a path open for the shaman, for extra safety later). As soon as the flames have moved past the first water trees activate Jellify Water and remove the water to carve a path for them to burn across. This requires a bit of timing because if you are to late the flames can't burn across, but being to early might mean you can't reactivate Jellify Water on time. As soon as the flames are across deactivate Jellify Water. Then wait for the flames to get near the top of the little hill near the next set of water plants and reactivate Jellify Water. Then quickly carve a path through the next piece of water and gather water on both sides of the path the flames will burn past so that the fire can be extinguished quickly. As soon as the trees have exploded, creating a path, deactivate Jellify Water. Then send your shaman to pick up the knowledge and extinguish what fire remains.

A second solution, thanks to XPandaX. Send your shaman straight to the relic, he will get close to the wall, then stop. Now turn on Jellify Water, and drop water on him. It will take a couple balls of water, but this should raise him up and over the rim. Then just turn off Jellify Water, let him grab the kite, repeat to get back out of the crater and save the village.

The Descent:

Thanks to Zim for this solution:

Right at the start use Infinite Earth and build a path from the first village towards the knowledge of Repel Lava. This is slightly left of the big mountain by the initial village (to the left of the path they take if you do send them instantly). Now that you have this path built send people to Repel Water, Repel Lava and build the second village. You should now get another Infinite Earth just in time to raise the land around the first village so it doesn't drown. Now while you wait for Infinite Earth to respawn grab some lava or earth and fill in the small gap between the second village and the ramp to the third. The moment the second village is built send them to the third.

Now use the next Infinite Earth (should be your third of the level) to raise the first village a bit more and build a wall along the left hand path you build. The first village should now handle itself and the two shamans are on the way down the path you built to the second. Next use one or two, depending on how you are doing, Infinite Earth to build up the wall of the left hand path again and the wall next to the second village (sea side). By now the shamans should almost be at or have reached the second village. Use the next Infinite Earth to build two small walls next to second village's path heading up the ramp. This is to make sure that repelling water doesn't block the path. Use the remaining earth and later Infinite Earths to build the wall going up the first straight of the ramp (facing the sea).

It may take a few tries as you have to build the walls just the right height that they block the water but also so you have enough earth in time to do everything. Your shamans should reach the third village as the tsunami is about 50-100 metres away and the level will complete.

I hope that helps. It's a pretty long walkthrough for a single challenge because it's very difficult and if you mess up a single step then you can't do the level.

Thanks to Loopstahblue for this solution:

For The Descent I set them off to make the village while I'm building up the ground under the second village and the shaman are carrying the kites to the second village. The village should be set up and the shaman set off just as the second village starts falling under the water music and with some earth you can help make a path for them towards the last village.

Timing is really tight on this.

'My' method:

I used the methods that both Zim and Loopstahblue provided to make it work for me. Now you might not succeed the first time, so perhaps only after a hard and frustrating time of trial and error you will be able to win. Just don't give up and keep trying!

First send a shaman to pick up the knowledge of Repel Water, some people to build the second village and some people to replace the first village behind the knowledge of Repel Lava. Then use one Infinite Earth to raise your first village so it doesn't drown. Now grab some lava to fill up the gap between the second and the third village. When the first village is replaced send someone for Repel Lava and replace the village again, now at the entrance of the third village. And when the second village is build send some men to build the third village. Fill up the gap between the second and third village if needed with Infinite Earth. Now just keep using Infinite Earth to make a wall, on the seaside, running from the second village to the previous location of Repel Lava, so that the second village and your shamans don't drown. Before both shaman reach the second village the first vilage might be replaced so keep using Infinite Earth to make sure the second village and the shamans don't drown. When the second village is safe the third village is build and the shamans from your first village, that you moved to the entrance of the third village, will walk up the mountain and secure it. This way I was able to win before the tsunami even appeared.

Given by Zer0.BE. I never tested this method.

It turns out restarting the map, that map as well, does reset the deaths.

And I'm afraid I don't know, because I never wrote that down, which would have been a good idea. But I'll check if it says so in the memory screen.

EDIT: It doesn't say in the memory screen, but I am sure that it was in the last halve, probably somewhere between mission 8-11. Not sure though.

Well all of my levels have both little "icons" apart from the very first one (The breath) which only has the top one.

I'm wondering whether i have to do something with the water, It's just annoying not knowing how to get it D:

Nevermind i found it :D It was a relic on Level 10, which was still underwater, hence why i could;t see it >.<

Correction: in the spoiler, you don't need to hold LT + B, you can just press B. (same with Y, you never need to hold a trigger)

Okay I'll add it, thought I had to.

But if I just do B it makes mountain, if I hold lt as well a valley appears.

Nice guide, just a few more tweaks and the all important roadmap and it's spot on.

Planning on the roadmap and the tweaks, just not now.

Any tips are appreciated!

Was just writing tips on how to do it ;), and if you could make videos on how to complete them I'd gladly add them!

for Pump it up you just have to fill each of those water wells with one or two spheres of dirt.

and for Xuenylom just put lava on that first village with water repel and the water should put out the fire before it even gets near the peninsula, you might have to make a couple small mountains with lava to aim the water.

Anyone know how to do the last 2 challenges? Only ones I have left. I know how to the second to last but don't know the timing to use etc.

Sacrifice - Take the sand from the first island and build a bridge over to the open ground and put a village there. Then use the remaining sand to build a bridge to the power. This is easiest to do by using the close up directly overhead view.

Figured out how to do page 5. Wagon Of Fire - Wait for the flames to get near the first set of water trees and activate jellify. Once the flames have moved past them deactivate jellify. Then when the next set of flames come activate jellify whe they get near the first piece of water and carve a path for them to burn across. As soon as they are across deactivate Jellify. Then wait for the flames to get near the top of the little hill near the next set of water plants and activate jellify. Then quickly carve a path through the next piece of water.

Again as soon as the flames are across deactivate jellify. Use water to control the flames so that they hit the explosive trees but don't let them burn too much. Then your guy should grab the power and start returning. However to stop the volcano and flames destroying the village you need to put a U around the side of the base facing the volcano made out of jellified water.

Already knew Sacrifice, just never got the damn timing right. And I prefer to add it after it works for me, so I can tell people 'it worked for me'.

Thanks for wagon of fire, I will try it like that, will add you to the credits if it works for me.

I tried the other last one btw, but I lost due to time >.<

Edit: My moronic shaman is to dumb to walk to the village, so I failed because the fire was hungry. So I might make a couple of changes, as I believe I know how to prevent the U, to what you said and give you the credit or it.

Thanks for the tips. I'm loving this game, tho it is a bit harder than I expected! The help is appreciated!

Glad it helps and that you enjoyed the game!

Yea the last one is a nightmare =/ I can get the first and second village both protected but the third I can set up but never get it protected. I found out that you can just wait for the last village to sink then use infinite earth to build a path there. However every time I try doing it that way when 5 people reach the village it says level failed. Not sure if I'm just timing out or what. Will try it again and let you know if I figure it out.

For the last one I set them off to make the village while I'm building up the ground under the second village and the shaman are carrying the kites to the second village. Timing is really tight on this as I thought I'd failed at first but realised the shaman had made it just before the land slipped again. They literally had the water lapping at their feet.

I just managed Sacrifice as well with the shaman reaching the village about 2 seconds before the wave started.

Some things I found helped:

Set them to the village before building a path.

Take 2 lots of earth from the back of the first village, the statue can sink as long as 3 or 4 huts remain in a half moon.

Don't set a shaman till the first village has been destroyed, the shaman then leaves from the second village saving time, you want them walking to the stone while you build the path.

Destroy the first path to build the second.

Hold down LT when scooping up earth as it digs down under the water getting you more earth than if you don't, as you can't dig earth with even a tiny amount of water over it.

Build fast and accurate, the shaman should reach the island with about 35 seconds left on the clock and just after you finish the path.

You can suck up earth from the second village, not much but it can tip the scales.

This does work but the timing for shamans is VERY tight.

I can manage to get all 3 villages built and safe in my own way. Village 1 gets both lava and water repel, village 2 only manages to get water repel but village 3 gets nothing though it is high enough to survive, even with the Tsunami.

Do you need both repels on each village to win though?

EDIT: Managed to get the 2nd village with both repels, but then i had to spend ages rebuilding the land on the 3rd village, blocking off the lava and raising the second village with Infinite Earth managed to do all that and while i was having people create the 3rd village again, suddenly it says i failed! All that time and i thought i was in the clear, what the f*cks up with that? :(

Yes you need both repels on each village to win. I finally managed to do it. Here's my strategy for the last one: THE DESCENT.

Right at the start use infinite earth and build a path from the first village towards the fire power. This is slightly left of the big mountain by the inital village (to the left of the path they take if you do send them instantly). Now that you have this path built send people to the water, fire and second village. You should now get another infinite earth just in time to raise the land around the first village so it doesn't drown. Now while you wait for infinite earth to respawn grab some lava or earth and fill in the small gap between the second village and the ramp to the third. The moment the second village is built send them to the third.

Now the next infinite earth (should be your 3rd of the level) Use this to raise the first village a bit more and build a wall along the left hand path you built. The first village should now handle itself and the two power people be on the way down the path you built to the second. Next infinite earth or two depending on how you are doing use to build up the left hand paths wall again and the wall next to the second village (sea side). By now the water and fire person should almost be at or have reached the second village. Use the next infinite earth to build two small walls next to second village's path heading up the ramp. This is to make sure when you repel water that it doesn't block the path. Use the remaining dirt and later infinite earths to build the wall going up the first straight of the ramp (facing the sea).

It may take a few tries as you have to build the walls just the right height that they block the water but also so you have enough dirt in time to do everything. Your two men should reach the third village as the tsunami is about 50-100metres away and the level will complete.

I hope that helps. It's a pretty long walkthrough for a single challenge because it's very difficult and if you mess up a single step then you can't do the level.

It worked perfectly! Took a few tries because i couldn't get the first path for the lava repel right and then the water shaman was a bitch and kept needing help >.> But i managed to cheat in the end and use the Infinite Earth to push him up along one edge of the spiral path with the first touch of the tsunami as a nudge to the stone as well :) Got both repels on that 3rd village as the land was caving in. Thank god!

EDIT: Also managed to 200 this now Wahey! :D
