GradeAbra
Well if i go into redeem code section and keep on trying and error keying in random code, will i get a valid one to work? Well you see there are millions of code to redeem in this world surely you will get a correct one.
exit9500
Sure it is possible but there is only a one in 8.08 x 10^38 chance of the one you typing in being an active code. (I only used numbers and letters for my math so if you really wanted to use symbols we would get a much larger number)
XZYOE
Good luck with that. It'll take hours, and just remember now, that you're ripping someone else off that had the decency to actually pay for their things.

You may have ripped off Microsoft, but some poor person who did the correct thing will suffer for your wrongdoings.

If you have enough free time to sit there and do something this ... this ... stupid, then you have enough free time to find some kind of job so you can earn money and just buy some points. Geez. Phydeaux
Pretty positive that they have some sort of flood detection, too, and if they figure out through so many queries that you're randomly generating codes, they'll ban the account or box. CaptainSpanner
You are a complete bellend. Pay for your points like everyone else does. Microsoft is massive company, right, so they are not going to let a little person like you 'guess' a code. They obviously monitor the codes that they ship out to shops. Idiot. punker
Even if you were lucky enough to guess a correct code (in which case, go out and buy some lottery tickets), it wouldn't work anyway... the points cards have to be activated by the retailer upon purchase for them to be valid when you attempt to redeem them. WyldeWolf
As that's fraud, this shouldn't even be discussed here?

Try to grasp this concept within your brain. Since MS points are derived from a 25-digit code where each digit could be represented by either a 0-9 OR A thru Z value. There are 36 possibilities for each digit. Thus you come up with the following formula: 36 x 36 x 36 x 36 x 36 . . . (this is only 1/5 of the equation). Good luck with that!
