Painkiller Q8
http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/n0/+b/0YCLiGJhbC9ACBsFG1lTWUY3L2FjaC8wLzI0AAAAAOfn5-60T4M=.jpgManic Suppression-20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif Singleplayer: In Belly of the Beast, defeat the DShK in under two minutes At one point Tech Sgt. Ybarra will go on the radio, and you will be crouching beside him not able to move. You will then be given the objective to supress the DShK with your SAW so they can move in and mark it. Now I am not sure when the timer begins and when the timer ends. But what I did was move up to the ruins (the broken walls) to the left and kept shooting the DShK until I killed the gunner. When there was no one in it, I killed the other enemies to help my team. If someone entered the gun again, I would kill him and repeat this process. Once the red smoke appears, you have to quickly regroup with your team. Your team will then call an airstrike to destroy the DShK and several seconds later it will be destroyed. You get the achievement once the DShK is destroyed. Now until this is confirmed, I believe that the 2 minutes is only timed from the checkpoint to completing the objective of supressing it. The time it takes for the DShK to be destroyed doesn't count for being time (I believe). Note: You cannot restart to last checkpoint to get this achievement. Dude, I did it in two mins, but when the mate throw the Red Smock. it took forever to be destroyed !!! This achievement is weird !!! I mean is it just to see the red smock or until you see the explosion ?
woof1989
Any idea of how long the MP achievo's will take? Want to rent it, but you only have a 7 day trial unless you buy an online pass code

coullgfx
What?? What?? we have to "PAY" to play the multi-player?? please someone inform me ! because its made by EA, they have started including codes with new purchases of games, which allow you access to online features within their games, this is to stop people from buying cheaper pre-owned games, as 9/10 the codes will have been used. This way if you buy pre-owned, you have to purchase a new code or whatever from the marketplace to access online features. It didn't occur to me that there will also be a problem regarding renting a game, as it is not something i ever do. However, it may be a good idea to rent on release, and hope you are the first to get a copy and get the code, you could then keep it for when you buy pre-owned or ebay it lol
GhOsT SLaYeR
For online pass.... you get a code with a purchase of a new one. You get a free 7 day trail of the online without using a code, but once those 7 days pass you'll either a.) buy it off market place or b.) not play online.... It won't affect me as I am buying it... and I get a code with it. Now idk when I am picking it up tho- =\
Hoborg
I think this new online pass is a great idea. I for one think second-hand sales hurt the industry but they may also be a way to protest a bad publisher like evil Activision. However, most of the time they are just used by greedy gamers who have no capital conscience. Sorry for rant. Anyway, can you select chapters as you complete them like in Halo? Venomized
To everyone who has posted with helpful information, and to those who are waiting for the guide to be updated, I will be updating it soon. I'm sorry for not being able to update it this weekend, but I have been busy. I will be updating the guide tomorrow (monday) sometime in the afternoon (PST). There is a possibilitiy I might do a minor update tonight if I can find time to. Thank you for being patient!
m00n22
Thanks for the guide so far. I completed the campaign on easy and got all the achievos thanks to your guide, gonna play the Hard campaign next. One note, Tier 1 mode not available when not connected to XBOX Live?!? Question about the online ones, it states: Reach level 2 in any class. But by the other it says: Reach level 8 in one class. Does that mean they mean ALL classes need to be level 2 / 4 for the achievement?

RYARNI
Theres a nice spot near the end of the 2nd mission to get Right in the Grape... no skill required. Wish I could make a vid.. but.. just before you enter the warehouse, one of your guys says "Watch it, Afghans on the left" and you can see through a wire fence Afghan fighters repelling Taliban. If you look closely, baring in my they cannot attack you, they just spawn and spawn, you can literally see them appear and pop their heads. Id do a vid but its my mates copy I noticed it on earlier, mines yet to arrive :@

ITD Soldierboy
Hey I got the guide(but not the game sadly ) today and saw that you needed some more info on certain achievements. I will help where I can. http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/6T/wb/0jc8P2NhbC9FCxsFG1lTWUY3L2FjaC8wLzExAAAAAVBQUP00PPU=.jpgMultiplayer: Fire Controller-30http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/misc/g-icon.gif Use each offensive support action once (awarded at end of round) Offensive Support Actions are the killstreaks awards you receive after you've gained a certain amount of points within one life. There are a total of seven levels(killstreaks) you can reach within one life. When you have the choice to choose a reward, the Offensive rewards are the actions with orange text. The Actions, and points you need to get them are: Level 1 - Mortar Strike(50 Points) Level 2 - Rocket Attack(100 Points) Level 3 - Missile Attack(175 Points) Level 4 - Artillery Strike(250 Points) Level 5 -Strafing Run(350 Points) Level 6 - Air Strike(450 Points) Level 7 - Cruise Missile(600 Points)

BIG G4984
R.E The quiet profesional. If you are kill the 1st 3 enemys and are detected by any one of the next 9, you can still complete the achievement by restarting from the check point as the 1st 3 kills WILL count. I have completed this achievement.

Essentially, you need to do this achievement in one life as it's very difficult to build your points all the way back up. Top tip though, let's say you manage to get to level 4 using all of the offensive support actions and then die, use the defensive support actions to build your points backup as they are guaranteed points. For example if you use UAV at level 1 it gives you 30 points whereas if you use the mortar strike and hit nobody, you wont get any points. I've only managed to get to level 5 so far with a K/D of 15/0. The game timer expired before I could rack up anymore points
