Introduction:

Welcome to Super Street Fighter IV, one of the best fighting games available on the Xbox360. For those who have played Street Fighter IV, most of these achievements are the same, with some new ones tossed in for the new online modes. The difficulty and time required to 1000gs this game is dependent on your personal skill. You can easily acquire around 700-800gs regardless of your skill, but the individual trials take some skill to pull off.

Step One: Arcade Mode

You may want to start with Arcade mode first, as it will net you alot of points as you progress. If you are going for the Entitled Achievement (unlock all titles), you may want to start on the Hardest difficulty, since you will unlock a red title for each character by completing Arcade on hardest. If you choose to do it on Medium, then you will only unlock the Blue titles for each character you beat arcade with, and you will have to go back later and beat it again with all 35 characters on hardest to acquire the red titles.

Gouken run: To get the "Long Time No See" Achievement, you have to beat Gouken on Arcade Hardest difficulty. The requirements to face him are thus (if set to 1 round matches which is preferable):

a.One perfect round

b.3 Ultra Combo Finishes

c.5 First Attacks

d.No continues

e.Can not lose a round

Easiest method for this is to use Zangief and his spinning Lariat (LB), try to knock out your Perfect round early, then focus on your Ultra Combo finishes, and try to get the first hit in as often as you can. If you run into trouble, keep a second controller handy, and press start, that way you can jump right back in and not lose your progress. If you beat Gouken in one of your first playthroughs, you will get the Long Time No See Achievement, as well as Herculean Effort, Clear Headed and Hard Times

You will need to clear arcade mode with ALL 35 Characters to get the All Clear achievement. If you are doing it on hardest and/or you are having difficulty getting through Arcade mode, you can start your playthrough with the character you want to beat it with, and when you lose (even if its the first match), switch to Zangief, then when you face your rival, Abel, lose and switch back to your original character, then beat your rival and then Seth, the final boss. For the Speed Freak achievement, it only has to be an average of 20 seconds, so if you beat the earlier characters in 15-20 seconds, it will give you more leeway when fighting Seth.

Step 2: Cleaning up Single Player

Once you have gotten the "All Clear" achievement, you can go back and get Rival Schooled by beating Arcade again with the 6 characters who have alternate rivals, except you only have to do it on Medium this time. To get these battles, you have to press all 3 punch buttons or all 3 kick buttons during the "Now, Fight your rival!!" screen for these characters:

Ryu: Ken (3P), Sagat(3K)

Seth: Hakan (3P), Abel (3K)

Chun-Li: Juri (3P), C.Viper (3K)

C.Viper: Hakan (3P), Chun-Li (3K)

Cammy: Juri (3P), C.Viper (3K)

Guile: Bison (3P), Abel (3K)

If you didnt press anything during your first run through, The "default" rivals are in bold

Also during your Arcade run-through, you should get the achievements for 100 Special moves (Special Movement), 100 EX Moves (EXtra! EXtra!!) 100 focus attacks (It Takes Focus), 100 Super Moves (Super, man!), and 100 Ultra Moves (Ultra, man!). If not, you can easily boost them in single player versus, or by doing Trials (NOT training).. You can also go and complete the Oh My Car and Barrel of Laughs under the Challenge mode menu. For the car, simply beat up one side of the car until it wont break apart, then switch sides until it is done. For the Barrels, you can either use Zangief's spinning lariat, or Dhalsim's punch works great too.

To get Superior Super (50 Super Finishes), the quickest method i found was to do a versus match (best of 7, 100% health each) with a second controller, i used Gouken, let the second controller beat up your character until he is dizzy, then use the first controller to beat up the second player until they are about 10% health, and your Super gauge should be almost charged, then do special moves that do not hit the opponent to charge it up fully (i used goukens HP fireball). Once your Super gauge is full, simply finish the 2nd player off with a super, rinse and repeat. With Best of 7, you have to win 4 rounds, so you can get 4 Supers in about 10 minutes. For Ultimate Ultra (50 Ultra Combo finishes), do the same method, except finish him off with the Ultra instead of the Super. You can also boost Absolute Perfection by playing versus and set your second controller to 0% handicap (one hit kill).

To Unlock Fashion Plate (All Colors), and Dan the Man (All Taunts), you need to unlock ALL colors and Taunts for ALL 35 Characters. . If you have played through Arcade on Hardest difficulty with all characters, you should be most of the way there by now. Each character has 10 colors and 10 taunts, and they start out with 2 and 1, so you only need to unlock 8 and 9 for each character. You unlock them by playing a match with that character, it can be Arcade, Versus, or Online. The colors and taunts rotate, so first you will unlock color #3, then taunt #3, then color #4 and so on. You can quit versus matches against the CPU to unlock these.

Step 3: Trials

Trials are probably the hardest portion of these achievements, since some people find most of the later trials to be very difficult. Unfortunately, you unlock icons and titles via trials, so if you can not complete them, then you will be missing out on 150GS (Entitled, Iconosclast, Trial Athlete). Some trials require little tricks such as FADC or powering up, which arent mentioned in the list. If you have trouble, you can search for individual character trials on youtube, there are many of them on there. For one of the easiest characters trials, to get the Trail of Trials Achievement, try either Hakan or T.Hawk.

Step 4: Online

The Bulk of the achievements are only obtainable online. Fortunately, they are easily boostable, even the Ranked matches. To find a boosting partner, use This thread.

There are currently 3 modes online: Ranked, Team Battle and Endless Battle. Team and Endless are essentially player matches, and you can set them up however you wish. For the 3/5/10 ranked matches in a row (Threepeat, Fivepeat, Tenpeat), get a boosting partner, and have them set up a ranked match that is 1 round 60 sec. Then, simply search using 1 round 60 sec until you find his lobby, join, and beat him. You have to start it over again after each match however.

Ranking up Characters

Each character has their own individual rank, based on "Battle Points." Each win counts for 50 Battle points, and for the most part, you do not lose BP after a loss. (you can lose some, but its minimal and depends on who you lose to). To get your character to level C, you will need 1000 points, or about 20 wins. You can try for this legit, or by boosting using the method above, as BP is only accumulated in Rank matches. This will net you Movin on Up, Now you C Me, and From C to Shining C (last one is once all 35 characters are leve C).

Team Battle/Endless Battle

These two modes are not ranked, and can be boosted easily. For Endless Battle, simply set it to 2 players, and set one slot as private, and invite your boosting partner. You can get Keep on Truckin, Three for the Road, and Endless Ten this way (win 1/3/10 in a row).

For Team Battle, set it to 2v2, and set private slots to 3, and invite your boosting partner. For the Team Battle win achievements, you have to WIN the battle AND actually fight and win one match yourself. If you set it up this way, then it will be 1v1, and you are guaranteed to fight during the battle. This will get you Team Player, Teamworker, and Teammate.

For the Replayer achievement, simply go to player data, Replay Channel, and the pick a channel to watch. It will automatically cycle through matches, so you can go do something else while the replays are playing, and the achievement will pop after 30 replays.

To get the Endless and Team Lobbyist achievements, you have to host 30 DIFFERENT lobbies for each gametype, and you must play at least one match in them. Quickest way is to get a boosting partner, set up the lobbies like i described above, set it to 1 round, play it, back out and start it up again.

Last Online achievements are winning/playing xxx number of online matches, you will get this over time, and if you havent unlocked them by now, you can boost them as described above. For Quarter Up, where you have to play 30 Ranked matches via fight request, simply start an Arcade playthrough, and make sure Fight Request is turned on, and you will get this after you have fought 30 people.

That about sums it up for SSFIV. These are the quickest way I've found of getting these achievements. Most of the achievements are simple enough to get, although the last 150-200 points will be dependent on your skill in the Trials. I will post links on how to unlock the titles and icons once they become available.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UP2pptg=.jpgClear Headed 10g

Hey! Got time to kill? Try to clear Arcade Mode on Medium or higher! That's all you gotta do!

Do you wish for defeat? If so, complete Arcade Mode on Hardest difficulty and beat Gouken!

For this achievement, you must play Arcade Mode on Hardest difficulty, you can not lose a single round or use a continue, set it to 1 round matches, and then you must get 1 perfect round, 3 Super/Ultra Combo Finishes, and 5 first Attacks. Keep a second controller ready incase you think you will not be able to meet one of the requirements during a match. Easiest character to do this with is Zangief.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UPoqRJQ=.jpgRival Schooled 20g

See your future by clearing every Rival Battle on Medium or higher with every character.

After getting the "All Clear" achievement, go back and play Arcade mode on medium or higher with the 6 characters who have alternate rivals: Ryu, Seth, Chun-Li, C.Viper, Cammy, Guile. To fight the alternate rivals, hold down all 3 Kick buttons. Also, if you didnt press any buttons the first time through, then you will automatically fight the alternate the second time through if you dont press any buttons.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UPvKvAc=.jpgSpeed Freak 30g

Finish each round in Arcade Mode on Medium or higher in 20 seconds or less. Too easy.

Play Arcade mode on Medium or higher, and it is an average of 20 seconds or less. So the quicker you defeat the early characters, the more leeway you will have with the later ones and Seth. Akuma and Gouken are bonus characters and do not count towards this achievement.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UPnrtbI=.jpgGood Start 10g

All of nature must withstand a trial. You must clear 10 trials in Trial Mode to succeed.

Under "Challenges," select "Trials," and simply complete any 10 challenges for this achievement. They do not have to be specific to any character or consecutive, just 10 total trials.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UPgLTSE=.jpgTrail of Trials 20g

There is no shortcut in the art of Yoga. Aim to clear any character's Trial Mode trials!

You must complete ALL 24 Trials for one character for this Achievement. The easiest character for this are T.Hawk or Hakan.

I shall assimilate all and be all-powerful! Clear all Trial Mode challenges, and so can you!

You must complete all 24 trials for all 35 characters for this achievement, one of the most difficult achievements in the game. You can find most of these on Youtube

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UPrMobw=.jpgOh! My Car 10g

Hee hee, destruction is so much fun! Score 80,000 points or more in the Car Crusher bonus stage!

Once you unlock the Bonus Challenges, try to do them under the Challenge menu instead of Arcade, then you can see what your actual score is, instead of the score up to that point. Simply start beating up one side of the car until it stops falling apart, then switch to the other side and repeat. Characters with quick combo moves like Zangief (Lariat), Chun-Li, Blanka and E.Honda work well.

No need for barrels without oil! Score 110,000 points or more in the Barrel Buster bonus stage!

Don't hold back your true potential! Win 10 Ranked Matches in a row!

If you are new to this game (or SFIV), then this achievement will be pretty difficult. If you are a SF vet, then you will get this over time. But, it is possible to boost Ranked matches. Get a boosting partner, and have them set up a Ranked match for 1 round 60 seconds or 1 round 30 seconds, and then use that to search for them until you see their name as a host of a lobby. Then join their match and have them let you win. You then must start the process over and repeat it until you have your 10 ranked wins in a row. Can only be done in Ranked match.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UP+7lnE=.jpgMovin on Up 10g

Ya need to do anything to reach the top of the food chain! Let's see a Rank Up via Ranked Match!

You need to rank one of your characters up from a D to a D+. It takes 500BP to rank up to a D+, and you get 50BP for every ranked win (against similar ranked opponent) with that character, so if you boosted Tenpeat with the same character, then you will unlock this achievement as well. Can only be done in Ranked match.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UP5bbuI=.jpgNow you C Me... 20g

I wrestle only the strong! You shall rank up to C Rank if you wanna face me, comrade!

You need 1000BP or 20 ranked wins to level up a character to level C. Can be boosted, but only in Ranked match.

You think you're good, don't you? Prove it by ranking up all characters to C Rank!

Same as "Now you C Me..." except you must rank up ALL 35 characters to level C, and you need 20 wins per character, making this one of the most time consuming achievements. Can be boosted, but only in Ranked match.

I shall make you the right hand of Shadaloo if you can win 100 Xbox LIVE matches!

The win/play xbox live matches will come over due time, since Ranked, Endless and Team Battle all count towards the achievements. You simple have to play or win the specified number of matches described for the achievement. But, if you are impatient, you can boost it with a friend, simply set up an Endless Battle, set it two players, 1 round, 1 private slot and invite your friend. If your going for wins then have him let you win, and you will still both get the achievement for playing a certain amount of matches on Xbox live

A 1-on-1 fight is fun, but it's more fun with friends! Try fighting in a Team Battle!

Simply fight in a Team Battle match. You do not have to win the team battle.

A pro can win with any team. Win 10 Team Battles but don't forget, you have to win too!

For these Achievements, you have win a Team Battle match AND you have to actually win one of the matches to get credit for the achievement. So, if you start out first, but you lose but then your teammates go on to win the Battle, then they will get credit, but you will not. To boost this, set up a 2v2 Team Battle with 3 private slots, and invite your boosting partner. You will be on separate teams, but since its just the two of you, your win will count towards the achievements.

Throw away your fears and focus on the fight! Win 10 fights in a row in Endless Battle!

You must win 10 Endless Battle matches in a row. To boost this, set up an Endless Battle Lobby with the private slots set to the number of boosting partners, then invite them to the match and have them let you win your 10 in a row. If its just you and one other person, then set it to 2 people, one private slot.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UP7Cly0=.jpgReplayer 10g

Watch 30 Replays via the Replay Channel! Isn't it fun watching people go at it tooth and nail!?

You must watch 30 replays from the channels, not your own replays. Go to "Player Data" then "Replay Channel" and simply pick a channel and start watching. It will autoplay, so you can go do something else while the 30 replays are playing. Should take around an hour to an hour and a half (depending on the length of the matches)

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UPk0bzM=.jpgEndless Lobbyist 10g

It's only natural for warriors to seek fights! Create 30 Endless Battle lobbies!

You must create 30 separate lobbies, and play a match in them. Quickest way to boost it is to set up a 2 person endless lobby, 1 private slot, 1 round match, and invite your boosting partner. Play the match, leave the lobby, start a new one, and repeat until you get the achievement. It will unlock at the character select screen of your 30th lobby.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1224/UPjUl6A=.jpgTeam Lobbyist 10g

Hey mon, battlin' is fun, no? Go out and create 30 Team Battle lobbies and enjoy the rhythm!

Same as "Endless Lobbyist" except you have to set up 30 team battle lobbies. Set it up as 1 round 2v2 with 3 private slots, invite your friend, play the match, leave the lobby, set up a new one and repeat until the achievement unlocks. It will unlock at the character select screen of your 30th lobby.

Fight 30 opponents via Arcade Fight Request. It'd be easy with the right bait, he he.

Start up an Arcade Mode match, but make sure you have Fight Request turned on, and you will have people jumping in to fight you via request. After the match is over, select "Return to Arcade Mode" and wait until someone else challenges you. After 30 Challenges, the Achievement will unlock. And remember that Fight Requests are Ranked, unless set to team battle.

I wont lie, this guide is hell of a lot better then the other one. Hopefully me posting this doesn't screw things up. :p

yeah, people were complaining that the other guides had mistakes and left stuff out, so i decided to make one up since i got most of the achievements fairly quickly, and while i didnt boost that many of them, i figured out how to do it.

And i will add a title/icon guide as soon as one is found. All we know is that most of them are not the same as in SFIV, and the majority of them are tied to Arcade and Trials.

My appologies to everyone that worked off my guide, I realize that I had some mistakes in there, but the guide I made was done in about 20mins and some of the achievements I was going based off my SF4 Memory (due to the recyled achievements). I dident update it at all because I got kind of pissed off with the x360a staff (Locking the guide for no reason), thats why there is still stuff left out as I decided to not work on it anymore. Anyways good luck with the guide im sitting at 870gs right now I still can't seem to get the Speed Freak Achievement no matter what I do... But one day I will get it.

Anyways good luck on getting 1,000 everyone there are a few achievements that are a pain in the ass haha.

I did the 2nd rival battles with those characters and got nothing, does it matter that by mastake I did Seth and ryu on hardest?

Should be fine, maybe you missed one of them accidently?

Anyway, I was just gonna comment on the 8/10 difficulty. If this is an 8, I'd hate to see a 10.

I would rate Ninja Gaiden II a 10. I just rated it an 8 because the only real difficult part about it is the trials, and once you get better at them, they really arent that bad.

Guide looks great! Especially the illustration at the top. But don't you think the difficulty should be a 9 or 10? Street Fighter IV was considered a 10/10 and this one is no exception with the 800 plus trials and Titles/Icons we have to collect...AGAIN. Especially the C Rank achievements.

Anyways this should be the OFFICIAL guide now and you should try and have it stickied!

By the way you should add for "Fashion Plate" and "Dan the Man" that to unlock colors the fastest head into Player vs Cpu and pick the fighter you want a color/taunt for and start a game then quit and you will unlock a color or taunt.

Well, i dont think SFIV should have been a 10 either, a 9 maybe. But SSFIV doesnt even have the Time Trials or the other Challenges that SFIV had. I thought about it long and hard before i gave it an 8, trust me...and i realized that SSFIV is actually pretty easy game to 1000g, the vast majority of achievements are either boostable, or can be done in single player. Some of the achievements will take time, but i dont really see them as difficult, just time consuming. Like i mentioned in the guide with the C rank ones...you CAN boost it if you feel so inclined. I figured 8/10 was fair, it says that it is pretty difficult, but still possible to 1000g it.

And thanks about the tip with the fashion plate and dan the man, i really didnt think about the fastest way since i knew you unlocked them after matches and they happen over time anyway.

*edit* I changed it to 9/10, hope that seems fair now.

can someone give me a 100% confirmation. do you have to start with the character that you want the rival credit for then switch to gief? or can you just run gief to the rival then switch? im doing the runs on hardest.

just dont wanna mess up. 41 runs is enough.

Great community you all have here, happy to be a part of it.

Quick comment/question regarding the Rival Schooled achievement.

I've beat the game with approximately half the characters at this point. Of the six with alternate rivals I've played with Ryu, Seth, Chun-Li and Cammy. I'm wasn't pressing all three kicks or punches and I'm positive that I fought the 3P rivals.

The guide mentions that you should fight all of the 3K rivals initially which directly contradicts my experience. Could the initial rivals vary for people or may the guide potentially be incorrect in this regard?

Ahhh yes, excellent!:) And good logic for the difficulty! I agree with you, it all depends on what terms you plan on obtaining these achievements. But if you do it legit(no boosting) then it's definitely a 10/10 but 9 is perfect! And you're right it is probably easier than IV. I'll keep you posted on what could make this guide better and what you could add to get these achievements faster. Seeing as I have done 2 achievement guides on this site(Rumble Roses,Triggerehart Exelica) I like to see if I can help out in any way in order to simplify things. Because ironically I made Rumble Roses a 7/10 and someone mentioned to me that it should be a 4/10.So I suppose it's deja vu all over again.

And once again, thanks for changing the difficulty on my behalf!:)

I also have some more info to contribute and it's for Speed Freak. Make sure you acknowledge that your 20 second time is averaged by the end of Arcade mode so you can win in 18sec,15sec,19sec,21sec,12sec, and still get the achievement as long as it averages out at 20 or lower. And also add that if you are losing an it's looking like you'll pass 20 seconds to have 2nd Player join in to get another try!

And once again, thanks for changing the difficulty on my behalf!:)

I already did mention that Speed Freak was an average in the achievement description.

Fight Requests can be non-ranked. You just have to set it to be Team Battle. Which probably makes getting that achievement easier as well.

Fixed.

Yeah, i wasnt 100% on that achievement, so i went with what everyone was saying, but with a help of a friend (Cru33), we got it all sorted it out. I think i mixed up the P/K rivals as default, it appears the 3P are the default, not the 3K

Also, if you DIDNT press a button during your first run through, then you dont have to the second time either, it will automatically go to their alternate. SO you can either use the 3K/P method, or just dont press any buttons. But im sure the obvious question is: "so are you sure the 3K/P even does anything?" ANd the answer is yes, it does. And it makes sense, so after you beat all the rivals, you can use the 3K/P to choose which rival you want to face.

I hope that clears up the confusion with that achievement. If anybody else has something to add, ill test it out and add to the guide.
