ArrowGreen
Im looking for some opinion on getting PrimaGames guide for this game. Currently 9.99(50% off) for e-guide in official site and $20 for hardcover guide in amazon. Does owning a completion guide defeat the purpose of playing this game? Spock
Does owning a completion guide defeat the purpose of playing this game? It sure wouldn't be enjoyable for me. The best part is the freedom you have to do as you please.
Shiftie
I don't see how it would defeat the purpose any more than looking at an achievement guide or watching the videos people have posted on here. If you don't do either of those, you probably shouldn't bother with the guide. Either way, playing the game is more fun than watching/reading about it..and watching/reading about it might make it more enjoyable if you get stuck frequently. Personally, I prefer getting stuck and figuring things out myself, especially in Hitman games.
MrAwesome
The internet trumps guides. I can see buying the guide from a collector`s standpoint though.
fresh fish 101
i'd saybuy the guide, in whatever form you choose. but first do a blind playthrough to get the full experience of the game. the guide would definitely come in handy to see all the alternate paths and ways to kill there are. InsaneKane87
I gotta agree with just about everyone else on this. I would also rather get stuck and figure things out for myself it's so much more fun. Only time I buy a guide is if it's for collecting and only time I have bought them were for GTA SA and GTA Vice City also plan on getting one for V. I always result to online guides tho when it comes to collectables. Never for how to get through a level etc no no no not for me. Especially as I'm replaying the Hitman levels I'm finding areas I didn't explore yet etc. So to make it easy on yourself you should play the game first, then read through the guide otherwise I think it may ruin a few things for you. The Bum-Mobile
Finding stuff for yourself is much more satisfying, plus I've found that guides are sort of obsolete now, what with the Internet and all.
Drucifer82
I purchased the hard cover guide, which includes a code to get the e-guide for free (eguide has vids). I've been mostly using it as a means to see how the challenges work in Campaign. There is little to no info on Contracts, so that relies entirely on instinct.
