rickyfeeney
Does anyone else think that this game will spark a huge revival of halo online. im hoping it will because when halo was popular ,as it used to be, it was very good. you met lots of different play types and different people. so what do you think. yes or no to a revival of halo online. jd070993
With an average of over 200,000 people playing Halo 3 online every DAY, I think it doesn't need a revival. But I agree with you that the numbers will rise, albeit for about a month.

I dont think it will and I wouldnt want it to (Good campaign tho). Technology these days (besides medical technology, etc) have just made a majority of humans lazy (and other things). cleric_80
the 3 new maps if nothing else will keep the Halo deathmatches keep afloat until Modern Warfare 2 hits. Modern Warfare 2 will rule the online matches for a good while then when the novelty has worn off it'll lull back to what we have now.
I Renzo I
I hope so, it use to be fun at a lower level but now you can go in a game as a lvl 15 and get paired with a team of boosters 1 out of three times
A CATSHOVEL
Last I heard, Halo 3 was the most played game on Xbox.
Helvirahel
Halo 3 still averages over 600,000 unique users a day on slow days. What kind of revival exactly are you looking for? Lol. Though granted, when I'm usually online there are only 20,000 to 50,000 people online. It never used to drop below 60,000 even 6 months ago. KNIGHTOFSERA
Well it depends on what you mean by revival....I mean Halo is already in the top 3 all the time..... now yes it was be a revival in one sense as people who put it down will pick it up again to play the new maps but a full blown 0 to a million revival is not needed since its already at the top
Lewi
i dont think it will spark a revival i think this game doesnt really have what it takes because its not a traditional halo game after a few months i predict the achievements for the new maps will be done and firefight will be a tad stale but ill still be playing (Y)
Nozza
Personally I dont think it will.. I think that there will be a short rise of people playing but I think it will only be people who have never really played H3 before. Iv got H3 and when I go onto ODST the only online playing im gonna do is to get the Skulls and look at the new maps. I may do the odd (and I mean odd) MP session here and there as I still do now with mates on H3 but I think most people will stick to what there playing now or whats coming out <-- I wont mention the game but we all know what it is!
