p0rtfan
WELCME TO MY 1ST ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE. ANY FEEDBACK IS WELCOME http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/-snRlQ==.jpgThe Maximum - 15g Score 180 in 3 darts in a non-party match This is a pretty easy achievement. You must hit three treble 20's in one visit to the board. With a little practice it should be no problem. Make sure it is done in either Tournament, Exhibition or Career, as doing in party mode will not unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/-OjYIA==.jpgNine Darter - 70g Finish a leg in 9 darts in a non-party 501 match You must finish a leg of 501 in nine darts. Even to the experienced players this can be a tough one to get. Keep practicing and you will get it eventually. There are a few combinations of getting 501 in 3 darts, but i would advise you to go for, T20, T19, BULL. You must do this 3 times in that order. Doing it that way will also unlock "Top Tungsten".Make sure it is done in either Tournament, Exhibition or Career, as doing in party mode will not unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/-Qggsw==.jpgSuper Flinging - 10g Finish a leg in 6 darts in non-party 301 match For this achievement you must finiash a leg of 301 in 6 darts. This is not too challenging as you don't even need a 180 to start. Try to start with a 180 or 140, and then follow the checkout shown on-screen. Make sure it is done in either Tournament, Exhibition or Career, as doing in party mode will not unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+KrLSg==.jpgMagic Darts - 20g Finish a leg in 12 darts or less in a non-party 701 match Personally i think this harder than the 9 darter, as it requires more throws. Simple (or not so simply) take out a leg of 701 in just 12 darts. Make sure it is done in either Tournament, Exhibition or Career, as doing in party mode will not unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+Uoz2Q==.jpgSuperduper - 15g Score a 170 (T20, T20, Bull) checkout in a single turn in a non-party match You must leave yourself needing 170 in any game type (301,501,701). This is the highest available checkout in darts and requires you to hit T20, T20, and then the BULL. Make sure it is done in either Tournament, Exhibition or Career, as doing in party mode will not unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+2s6bA==.jpgFabulous Flinging - 15g Score a 153 (T20, T19, D18) checkout in a single turn in a non-party match You must leave yourself needing 153 in any game type (301,501,701). Once you manage to leave yourself 153, hit a T20,T19 and then D18. Make sure it is done in either Tournament, Exhibition or Career, as doing in party mode will not unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+ovC-w==.jpgTop Tungsten -15g Finish a leg in 9 darts in a non-party 501 match scoring 167 (T20, T19, Bull) three times See "Nine Darter" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+azW8Q==.jpgBang in the Middle -20g Score a 150 (Bull, Bull, Bull) checkout in a single turn in a non-party match You must leave youself needing 150 to checkout in any game type (301,501,701). Don't use any other way apart from BULL,BULL,BULL.Make sure it is done in either Tournament, Exhibition or Career, as doing in party mode will not unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+-LDow==.jpgWorld Championship -40g Win the World Championship All of these achievements can be obtained in either tournament or Career mode. I suggest doing them in career mode as it will help towards "Grand Slam" and "Number One!". All tournments must be completed in one play, without saving. In career mode, you can save in between tournaments, but saving mid-tournament will result in the achievement not unlocking. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+dPKFg==.jpgWorld Grand Prix -30g Win the World Grand Prix See 'World Championship' http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/+DMyhQ==.jpgDesert Classic -30g Win the Las Vegas Desert Classic See 'World Championship'. Note, the Las Vegas Desert Classic can only be entered in Career in season 2, as you will not be able to get a high enough rank to enter in season one. It can however be done in Tournament mode at any time. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/-ZHZfA==.jpgUK Open - 30g Win the UK Open See 'World Championship' http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/-HEh7w==.jpgWorld Matchplay -30g Win the World Matchplay See 'World Championship' http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/-lAoWg==.jpgGerman Champ -30g Win the German Darts Championship See 'World Championship' http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPqETlY=.jpgUS Open -30g Win the US Open See 'World Championship' http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPtktsU=.jpgGrand Slam! -50g Winning all tournaments in a single year in career mode At the moment, nobody in the world has this achievement, as it appears to be glitched. If i cannot unlock it after season 2 i will email Oxygen Games and find out what do to. The only other suggestion is to play an entire career without saving, which is ridiculous. That would take about 15+ hours. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPlFv3A=.jpgWhitewash -20g Win a match against a Pro player without losing a set in career mode Pretty self-explanatory. In career mode, matches are of a pre-determined length so cannot be changed. At the beginning of each match in Career mode it will tell you how may games are in a set. Just don't lose a whole set in a match and you will be fine. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPilR+M=.jpgPerfect Match -30g Win a match against a Pro player without losing a leg in career mode This is pretty similar to Whitewash but the only difference is you cannot lose a single leg. Playing on Amateur this shold not be too difficult to unlock in the early rounds of any tournament.

I used Raymond Van Barneveld for all apart from himself. Get used to a players timings as there is no power meter on Pro difficulty. Use your chosen player to beat all other 15 players and then use somebody else to beat the player you chose. With a little practice, you should be able to do each player in a couple of attempts. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPznVIk=.jpgBarney -20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Raymond van Barneveld in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UP7GXTw=.jpgJaws -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Colin Lloyd in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UP8mpa8=.jpgOne Dart -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Peter Manley in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPwBsaE=.jpgHawaii 501 -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Wayne Mardle in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UP3hSTI=.jpgThe Rocket -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Ronnie Baxter in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UP5fpPM=.jpgJackpot -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Adrian Lewis in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPx+rUY=.jpgThe Artist -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Kevin Painter in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/s99.jpgDarth Maple -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat John Part in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPg8viw=.jpgHammer -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Andy Hamilton in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPncRr8=.jpgRocky -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Andy Jenkins in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPv9Two=.jpgThe Bull -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Terry Jenkins in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPiWfv8=.jpgThe Iceman -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Alan Warriner-Little in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPl2hmw=.jpgThe Menace -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Dennis Priestley in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPtXj9k=.jpgThe Tripod -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Roland Scholten in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UPq3d0o=.jpgFlash -15http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Beat Mark Dudbridge in Pro or Master difficulty See "The Power" http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/806/UP71ZCA=.jpgHighroller -20http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg Achieve a 3-dart average greater than 120 in a single non-party match You must finish a whole match with a 3 dart average of over 120. GUIDE MADE SOLEY BY ME, p0rtfan, FOR USE ONLY ON WWW.X360A.ORG. Edit : Thanks to Borandi for helping eith Grand Slam and beating players on pro difficulty, it is greatly appreciated by me and im sure by those who are stuggling with those achievements. Edit2 : Whilst editing the achievments the post count went over and i tried to split the post, which i couldn't. Due to this some of the achievements are now missing. I have submitted a full guide to the site and hopefully it will be published. I will post a link to its location once it has been checked by the guide team. Paul Broughton
can i unlock rank 1 achievement by saving part way through a tournament and obviously still win? i'm aware of the tournament achievements where you cannot save. cheers!! borandi
Good stuff. I'm going to try and play season 1 and 2 without quitting/turning the xbox off, see if that gets the final ach. A lazy way to play (if you've done, or aren't going for the score achievements) is to aim for the middle of treble 14. Almost no left to right movement, and a large up and down to hit the treble. 126 each time. My 3 dart average is around the same as if I was going for the T20, just less effort <rant> Just reading though most of the threads here... are people allergic to capital letters, punctuation and spelling? I can barely understand what people are writing without having to make a substantial effort to try and understand it. It doesn't take that much effort to write coherently and people will thank you for it and understand you much clearer if you have a question. </rant> Edited December 22, 2008 by borandi
Paul Broughton
Never thought of going for treble 14 as indeed it is easier than going for 20's and it keeps your average high and its still enough to beat the comp. I see you have finished your 1st season and now only require the desert classic from the tournaments. As your next achievement in carrer will be to become rank 1, do you think it will be possible to start saving during a tournament? or will this just mess a lot of hard work up? Its just that i don't fancy playing each tournament again in my second season.... when i eventually finish the 1st.
borandi
I currently 2.5 tournaments away from finishing my second season. All of this is done without turning the 360 off or saving. I'm even trying not to press start. I'll take video evidence of the final bit to show it wont unlock (unless it does...!). Also found that if you go to the very top of the board and put as little power as possible, T20 everytime. In a first to 19 legs match I got 32 180s. Same with the bull, just aim for T20 and put little power.
borandi
I wrote this in another thread, but also going to put it here: PDC Grand Slam achievement DOES unlock I have it. Let's just say the past 5 days have been nothing but PDC darts. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWc0WKptWG8]PDC Grand Slam achievement DOES unlock[/ame] Transcript: Welcome to the video to show that the Grand Slam achievement in PDC Darts just does not work. I'm about to throw the final dart here in the World Championship, which is the last tournament in Career Mode. Just to show you what I've done here so far, I've played the first TWO seasons of PDC Darts, that's 13 tournaments, without turning the xbox off, or quitting out of Career Mode. [Achievement Unlocked] OK, I refute that - the Grand Slam achievement DOES work, and as you can see it has just unlocked. So what I did: Custom Character, Played through seasons 1 and 2, rarely ever pressing start, Only letting it save when it auto saves Barely losing 30 or so legs across the career As you can see, 10k darts thrown and all the trophies. As a time scale, today is Christmas Day, so 25th December. I started the first season on the 20th December, and have had a mixture of sleeping and playing this game for the past five days. And some drinking. So there you go, the Grand Slam achievement does unlock, and PDC Darts is fully completable.
borandi
How to easily beat PRO CPU players [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA7iaVqXdpI]PDC Darts - Beating Pro CPU achievements[/ame] Transcript: This is how to win on Pro level on PDC Darts. Now, you dont have the power meter, so you have to use the trick of using as little power as possible. So, here we are, in a 301 match, one leg left to win. Go straight to the top of the board, and use as little power as possible. And you get a T20. Repeat for a 180. You can use that technique in any mode to get a 180. With 121 left, go 11, T20, BULL. Aim for the top of D9, little power, for the 11. Again to the top and little power for the T20. Now go to the T20, but go up a little so you're half in and half out the T20. Little power = BULL. That's how you can win against anyone on PRO.
Paul Broughton
Truely awesome technique!!! I did all my pro matches by guessing the power. This will help many players.
intrauma
I done the Top Tungsten (Nine darter scoring 167 T20 T19 BULL THREE TIMES) but got no achievement. Is this a glitch or am i doing something wrong? Just so you know, I done it on exhibition mode as Barney against Baxter.
borandi
In my experience you have to do those achievements in the final leg of the match if they dont unlock right away. So 1 leg games in exhibition.
intrauma
Yep thats what i did mate, i always play exhibitions doing just one leg but got no achievements....and in order too (T20, T19, BULL)

Paul Broughton
why two seasons?? You cannot enter the desert tournament until the 2nd season because your rank will not be high enough to enter. Dont know where you got playing a whole season without turning your console off from!! You cannot save during a tournament for the achievements to unlock. Meaning play and complete a tournament, win, autosave, switch off. Follow until 2 seasons are complete. You should really read the other threads before posting as this question and your other post question in this thread are covered everywhere in the pdc forum.
