Pooly93
3 Years so far, should be about 4 just after Christmas. My first year I got like 10 or 20k at most, second year I jumped to about 30k, then between the end of my second year/last year and now, I've jumped drastically, I only hit 70k the other day and I'm nearly already on 72k. Genesis x360a
About 3 years for me. Had XBL for 4 years next month but for the first year achievements didn't interest me and I only played online (Gears, COD2/4) Then I got bite by the bug and here I am 162K later. Dont play for points anymore though. I strive for completion over anything now.

mercianix
I'm not sure how much GS I had prior to getting an xbox from GFWL titles but I rarely played them anyway, definitely not for achievements. I've had the Xbox 7 months so I reckon I've got around 15k in that time. Edited July 19, 2011 by mercianix

The Sea Trout
Taken me around 5 years to get my Gamerscore, should have been much higher but im very bad for not finishing games lol! Im getting better at it now though!
MelBayBeeXx
um, mine's been nearly 3 years. I never used to go for 100% completion cos i couldn't be bothered, it's only in say the last 8 months or so that i've bothered to complete any of my games fully so that's why it's a bit shoddy at 18,000ish. jules the great
I got my xbox shortly prior to HALO 3 coming out. What was that 2007? I dont acheivement whore any longer since hitting my goal of 100k. But if I play a game that I like, i try and get as many points out of it as possible. GamerKing97
I've had an Xbox since December 2010 and my current GS is almost 6,000. I guess that's decent especially since I don't have a lot of games and some were borrowed.

Fire Mage
Just over 5 years I think. Pretty sure my first achievements were earned back in June 2006. I was skimming through the games that I played a long time ago, and the earlier I found was an achievement on 1/29/2006, but I couldn't find another achievement earlier than June (including the rest of the achievements for the game that had 1/29) so I think that's somehow a glitch on Xbox.com that I'm looking at. It kind of varies though. I go through periods of time where I don't really play much, and periods where I play a lot in a row, like recently. I'd gained quite a few thousand gamerscore in the last couple of months, which is pretty fast for me.
The_Internet_Police
I'm guessing about 2 years of off and on playing
MxPx
Technically...8 years. But I don't think achievements existed for the first few years of XBL. But for the record, I should be closer to about 20k GS, as I achieved about 15k on my buddy's xbox/acct that he left at my house for 3 years...lmao Edited July 21, 2011 by MxPx
TVthePunisher
Well I got my first 360 in 2007...at the time I really didn't give thought to gamerscore until I kept seeing these things pop when I did stuff in Dead Rising. After awhile I started to try for them...and I'd say at first I got the achievements as kind of proof that I did something difficult or challenging to brag amongst friends (pretty much everything I've done in Gears was for pride)...but then I started unlocking them seeking both completion and improving my gamerscore. With several lengthy breaks in between, it's taken me nearly 4 years for 31K. I don't buy a lot of games, nor rent for that matter...I'm sure if I kept the pace up regularly I'd be over a 100K, hell maybe even 200K...but certainly much higher than 31K. Doesn't matter though, proud of what I've earned...=)
Yaymez
Just about 2 years for me. I don't tend to have huge amounts of time to play videogames aside from the weekends or the occasional evening after work.
