Combat Wombat
I need to beat the game on insane and get the beat the game with only a plasma cutter achievement, as well as a handful of weapon kill ones and maxing out research. Should i do two seperate playthroughs or combine it? I've already beaten the game on normal btw.
duffielda
I'm on my 3rd play through right now - 1st one was plasma cutter only, 2nd was all the other weapon achievements, 3rd one is insane difficulty It's much quicker the 2nd time through
MattrickSwayze4
by insane, i assume you mean impossible. i found it pretty tough, but i only used plasma cutter and line gun. and i could have done without line gun. go for it!
KING JR0634
I found impossible was easier with just the plasma cutter to increase ammo drops
ImaginaryRuins
1st playthrough I went for the Plasma-Cutter-only run; 2nd playthrough I played on Impossible and did all the weapon-kill achievements. Still, I mostly only used the Plasma Cutter, and I only took out the other weapons for the kills when facing Guardians - killing their 'pods' count towards the weapon kills and this way I got the achievements very quickly. Fragarach Luin
So, everyone here took the opportunity to talk about what order they did their playthroughs in, and that's fine, but it makes it pretty clear that no one read the original post. So to answer you, OP, yes, of course you'll have to do two more playthroughs. I should hope that basic logic would help you realize that you can't do the One Gun achievement and finish off 30 kills for other weapons in the same playthrough.
