amistoned
Zee, unless im talking about something in particular, such as a Nissan 240z, i would say two-forty zed.Otherwise im all zee.Americans are taught that way. HOWEvER, i have a few British friends, and as such i have picked up a few things. Like i call "trash" now "rubbish".Also i say bollocks, i know right? My point is, it was called "zed" way before it was called "zee", and there are many other words in the same boat.
aksuma
personally id say it depends on the context of what your saying. if your using it in a word its going to have more of a zee sound , but if you were describing the letter on its own it would have to be zed other wise phonetically if you used zee it could be mistaken as a beee or even a teee or ceee
Ice Car
I say it as "Zee". I was unaware there was another way of pronouncing it. Is it really pronounced "Zed" in other places? As in, Dr. Ned, who is totally not Dr. Zed from the story at all. ... Sorry, I just felt like throwing in a reference because the other pronunciation reminded me of it. Venomized
Both, if I were to recite the whole alphabet, I would end up saying 'zee'. However, if I am speaking of the letter on it's own (like telling someone how to spell something) I would say 'zed'. same here actually
