Corrupt.
Overview: -Estimated achievement difficulty: 3/10 -Offline: 12/12 [200/200) -Online: 0 -Approximate amount of time to 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg: 10-15 hour -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 -Number of missable achievements: None -Glitched achievements: None glitched, Jigsaw Maker glitchy -Do cheat codes disable achievements?: Yes, with exceptions -Extra Equipment needed: None Introduction Banjo Kazooie is a port of the classic N64 game, with a few minor tweeks (mostly cosmetic) for XBLA. The achievements are all pretty straightforward, but it will take you a long time to play through all levels and collect everything you need. Jigsaw Maker can glitch, so if you either are not on Xbox Live and haven't got your update make sure you have all the musical notes before doing the bottles challenges. You can only use the cheats you discover during the game through finding the spell book. Step 1 It is highly advisable to have a collectables guide to hand before you start playing through. One for the notes can be found here, and for the extra honeycombs can be found here. If you feel the need for one, there are tons of full walkthroughs for the game online, as the game has been around for ages and always been popular. Although you can dip in and out of each unlocked level whenever you like, it is recommended to collect everything in a location before moving on. It is also advisable to note down everything the fairy says to you about Grunty, as these are unique to each game and you will need these facts at the end. Apart from the collectables, simply playing through the game will net you most of the achievements, with Get Jiggy or Mumbo Jumbo probably coming first, for getting two Jiggy pieces or visiting Mumbo for the first time respectively. You will get Knock Out Nipper while going for a Jiggy on your second level and Free Clanker in the third one. When you play Mr Vile's mini game in Bubblegum Swamp, make sure you eat at least 30 of the little red things (very easily done) to unlock Chomp Chomp!. While playing through the levels you will learn new moves, taught to you by Boggles the mole. You will need to learn these to progress, so a location guide isn't really needed. You will learn the last of these moves when you get to Gobi's Desert to unlock Move Master. Once you have finished Mad Monster Mansion, you will have got far enough to access Grunty's spellbook in all three locations, so visit all three for Cheating Cheato, and go activate the cheats if you feel the need. If you have been following your collectable guide, once you unlock the last level you will be able to pick up your last notes and honeycombs to unlock Music Maestro and Show Me The Honey!. Finally you will have to play the quiz round to finish the story and rescue Tooty. Here you will have to answer questions about the game, and also use the answers the fairy told you about Grunty. Once you have progressed through this, you will unlock The Quiz Master, and will be rewarded with a short cut-scene and some credits. Step 2 Now we will finish up the post-main-story challenges. Load up your save game again, and you will be at the quiz board, but will be able to run straight over it, and go through the hole Grunty went through. Follow the path and you will get to a roof fight with the old witch. There are unlimited gold feathers and eggs, so use them wisely through the five stages of the fight with her. Upon her defeat you will get Jinjonatored. After this, there is one last achievement to get, Jigsaw Maker. Return to your house where you started the game, and look at the picture of Bottles and press . This should take you to a minigame involving jigsaw making. There are 7 pictures to complete, and the achievement will unlock when they are all finished. No mop up required, as if you have followed the steps you will have the game done! Conclusion Banjo Kazooie is a pretty easy 200:gsicon:, but it is not the fastest out there. There are some players that have completed this game much faster than the estimated time given, but if you are unfamiliar with the game, you should come in somewhere around the 12 hour mark. It can be frustrating at times, but if you play for nostalgia reasons, or just want a fun platformer to play for some relatively easy achievements, this is the game for you! Illusionary
Can you get these same achievements on the rare replay? You can. The same goes for all of the Xbox 360 games that are included. The same goes for any other backwards-compatible titles that you play on Xbox One, for that matter.
