EvilestBean
Hi people, just to say that sometimes i take my 360 from my front room to my bedroom and the cables get all twisted and I have to straighten them out, so i was wondering can that damage the inside cables, I have been wondering this for sometime now. cincychaos
if they get twisted too much over time, they can...but it would take a decent amount of wear and tear first

FourChan
Yeah they'll wear out sooner or later, I had the same thing happen to a PC Cable of mine for my laptop. I have a problem with my 360, on my system when I move it around the picture on the TV Goes out and only way to get it back is to unplug the Cables and plug them back in. Only happened after I got it repaired.
Pond cat
Over the course of about 3 years it happened with my PS2, it struggles to display a picture now. May not apply to 360 though

dm master
I was just worried cos I dont wanna be without my lovely 360 lol. Here here But i think it should take a long time for the cables to break themselves tbh just general movement shouldnt be a problem..
Deathlorddanny
Well, ive had a similar case with my old xbox controller. I always wrapped the cord around the controller to be all organized ^_^.....but eventually all the wrapping i guess wore it out because now it barely works. But the new cords are pretty dam big so i would not worry about much..
EvilestBean
I was just worried about the wires in the cable lol, but thanks for all your answers guys.
Ibaapzo
Normal cables? Nah, unless you WANT to damage them. However, if you happen to be using optical cables, DO be very careful with those. Otherwise, cables can get wear on them after obsessive use, but none that you'll see under a year of moving them from room to room.
SynysterMonkey
I don't know if it's the same thing but my vacuum wires ripped. The outer plastic shell just tore after a few years and exposed the wires. It's was perfectly fine, but I just ran to Walgreens and bought some wire tape just to be sure. So I guess what I'm saying, is that you probably don't have to worry all too much. You should still be careful though.

At least I do... It's just for extra protection, so, yeah, they are much more protected than, say television cables. ^.^ My favorite part is running them over.
