ARNETT 4
easiest way I have found is to be a QB and a DE. turn offsides off and max out all sliders in your favor. that should do the trick for ya. Chilo
this ones gonna be hard. same with a few of the high school ones. From my experience it wasn't too difficult. This one and scoring on offense and defense are probably the only difficult ones for high school. And the latter is sort of a luck one. I figure playing a linebacker or corner on defense would give you the best shot at getting both of these. Mainly due to the fact that it's easier to pick on off as either one of those and take it back. You could try safety too, but I gave that a shot and didn't have too many passes thrown in my area. I haven't played it yet, but since RtG has been in almost all NCAA football games, the offensive TD should come naturally (for people who have played it before). I would assume, like the above poster said, that for the defensive one you could sack the QB in the endzone for a safety (with offsides turned off). Just have to find a way to keep them deep in their own territory to start the drive. That would most likely be the easiest strategy. Taking an interception back for a TD is really luck based and depends on the stats of the person intercepting it. Are there sliders for RtG? One poster above said you could move them in your favor. That might help to get an interception or cause a forced fumble.
DontTry2Hard
For the TD on both sides of the ball, it can be simmed. I played as a QB/CB and absolutely hated playing CB. So, after about 3 games I started super-simming defense, assuming I'd come back for that achievement. Then I saw that my player had returned an INT for a TD. The achievement popped at the end of the game. (FYI - I scored a passing and rushing TD in that game, just to make sure). And the 5 star one can be bought. It's like 30 MS points to 5 star your guy in one position. I did it to test, but it worked so - worth it.

I just hope that you just didn't get lucky on this one and this achievement is as easy as you did it, but I kind of think you just got lucky unless you can max out all catching/interception sliders
Helljumper330
480 MS points for all 5 star recruits. 80 for a single position except for QB which is more, 240.
Helljumper330
I can vouch that it works too.
ARNETT 4
I had thought about going back and trying this method, so i'm hoping it works on my second go around for the defensive TD.... thanks for this piece of advice!

Team Penguin
If you move over to RTG Setup on the RTG main screen you'll see an option named "Road to Glory House Rules". After clicking on that, press the RB and you'll get to the sliders for offsides, etc. Press it again and you get to the custom AI with the accuracy and what not. Chief34
I almost got the touchdown on def, I sacked the QB in the endzone and forced a fumble but my guy took his sweet time getting up so instead my teammate recovered it for a TD. I did however find a good way to rack up forced fumbles if you are a linebacker. When on special teams instead of blocking for the punter run down the field as soon as he hikes the ball and hit stick the returner, he will fumble it almost everytime even on all american. Will it count if its done on Special Teams? It would be nice considering I have forced 3 fumbles and 3 times my teammates got the ball before me and then scored. I'm not sure out of the 7 or 8 times I've done it I have only recovered it once and got tackled soon afterwards while my teammates have picked it up a td a couple of times. Even so it helps your linebacker become a 5 star quick, I got 5 stars in only 3 games doing this.
Beef_Log_FTL
It does count on special teams, I posted how I got this achievement in the Ironman thread. But short and sweet version, if you turn off offsides and get luckily enough to be put on a punt cover or block unit, just block the punt and return it. The achievement for me popped after the game ended and was going through the highlights. So don't be shocked if it doesn't unlock right away after you score a TD, because it might lock after the game ends.

Topsy Kretts 18
I used a QB and RE and I got 5 stars after about 5 games. Way easier than I thought it would be.
StP BigRed
i got this cheevo without even knowing it was here lol i was a RB/LE and for defence i scored quite a few times even a couple of times in the same game..really all you gotta do for it is make your guy more of a pass rusher you get a bit more boost when u jump the sanp if you played it regularly(spelling? lol) and go for the inside move on the tackle worked basically everytime for me and if youre doing the sliders and still cant get that achievement maaayybbee the EA series isn't for you!
