This DLC was released November 22, 2011 for 400 MSP and includes one new story to play through. The story has 6 pages where you play the same basic mini-games included within the main game with the lone exception of the new color matching game. Step 1 - Playthough the Story: If you have already played through the main game, this new story will prove to be very simple. This is possibly the easiest story and achievement set to obtain. To start it up, just select the new "Egg" shaped icon on the top right hand side of your book. Nothing is really missable since you can replay any page but for a brief summary: Page 1 - Just play through it. It does not matter how many stars you get. Page 2 - Pop 50 bubbles. Page 3 - Dress an alien as a Space Cowboy. Page 4 - Just play through it nothing special required. Page 5 - Collect all the notes when the two aliens are onscreen. Page 6 - Just play through it. Conclusion: This DLC has the same high production value as the main game and will be entertaining for children but it is very short. Adult gamers will only appreciate the quick boost to their gamerscore but you would have no reason to play it again once you are done. On Page 2 of the DLC Story "Unidentified Furry Object", you play a mini-game where you need to pop bubbles. There are a ton of bubbles that crowd the screen so you will most likely get this the first time you play the event. If you can perform moderately well you will get the achievement before getting 3 stars on the page. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1823/UP1lIus=.jpgEggs-tra Stylin' - 10:gsicon: You dressed up an alien like a space cowboy! On Page 3 of the DLC Story "Unidentified Furry Object", you play a mini-game where you need to dress up aliens. First you need to put on the outfits that they ask for twice. After the first two outfits are tried on you get to choose the third. Simply pick the Space Helmet and the Cowboy Vest (has guitar pictures on it) to unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1823/UPjHyRI=.jpgCultural Eggs-change - 15:gsicon: You made the color green! On Page 4 of the DLC Story "Unidentified Furry Object", you play a mini-game where you need to rotate cubes around to create colors. While playing through the event, you will be asked to make the color green. Simply choose yellow for one cube and blue for the other to unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1823/UPknMYE=.jpgDramatic Eggs-it - 35:gsicon: You collected everything while flying with the aliens! On Page 5 of the DLC Story "Unidentified Furry Object", you play a mini-game where you need to float to the top while collecting musical notes. It is okay to miss the notes while you are floating upwards. The notes that you cannot miss are the ones that appear when the two aliens are onscreen with you. Each time you catch up to the aliens, they will teleport in about 6 or 7 notes. Either you or your partner can grab them. Be sure to get all the notes every time you meet the aliens to unlock the achievement. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/1823/UPsGODQ=.jpgEggs-traterrestrial - 25:gsicon: You reunited the aliens with their lost egg! Story related and cannot be missed. Complete all six pages of the DLC Story "Unidentified Furry Object". You only need to play through it once and it does not matter how many stars you get per page. Burgon
Good stuff! Glad to see some DLC before I sent this back to LoveFilm haha. Quick question, does anybody know if the 'play each page 3 times' achievement will include these pages too? If so that's gonna be a bit irritating as I haven't got that yet, ah well. Daniel55645
Is the DLC worth buying?? depends. for me it was cause it was only $5 and im a completionist whore so i had to have it. if you dont care about completion then $5 for 105 gamerscore isnt. you can go to gamestop and get a full retail game with 1000 gamerscore for the same price that takes but a few hours to do. Lavindathar
cheers for the guide. Not really needed but the roadmap gave nice indications. Bought this on sale and finally back to 100%. Oh, and its worth it if you have kids, or think 400msp is worth 100 fast Gs.
