I think Dallas can get by Greenbay - that GBY D allows points (look at that Atlanta game - if Atl had a D they would've won that game...and won me some nice $$) you get murry & Bryant on their games and frustrate Rodgers than Dallas will pull it out.

Regardless take the "over".

If ever there would be a game to bet your house on the over...that might be it.

You'd rather go to Seattle than green Bay!?! No worried though, the Boys have got your back. Please beat Seattle.

Hell yeah, I am terrified of Green Bay in Green Bay. Especially when it'll be like 0 degrees next weekend there. It should be much nicer weather in Seattle.

Seattle is hot, and will be a tough game, but I believe many teams have the talent to beat Seattle in Seattle. I think Dallas, Green Bay, and Carolina could all beat Seattle. Green Bay is the better team over Seattle.

Go Cowboys! (At least for tomorrow lol :p)

I don't know about GB, but Seattle's record at home since Pete Carroll took over is astounding. They've won close to 80% of their games. And the first season or two under Carroll weren't great.

Panthers escape a weak division with a losing record, then sneak by an Arizona team with no QB or running game. Yeah, they look great. /s

I suppose, to be fair, their Defense looked great. But was Arizona's offense just that god awful?

Arizona went almost 3 full games without an offensive TD after Carson Palmer went down...So yeah...it was Arizona's O just being God awful.

Being a Carolina fan, I am completely used to hearing nothing but negativity towards the Panthers, and some is understandable and some is just utterly annoying and sounds like a broken record no matter how well Carolina plays. The point is Carolina is moving on to the next round of the playoffs, so I couldn't care less who they beat or how unfair it is that they're here. Carolina has a good team, of which wasnt healthy for 90% of the season. Our secondary has been reconsructed utilizing a lot of players that have really stepped up recently (Tre Boston, Bene Benwikere, Josh Norman) . Our running game is finally relevent with Stewart. Cam is healthy, and defense is playing phenominal. Good luck to the Lions today.

I'm guessing Pants is pretty pissed off right now.

Also, looks lke I totally misread Kroenke...Seems as though the Rams are almost definitely going to LA. Have fun punker...they might be close to a SB contender by 2016 if they get a decent QB that can stay healthy.

I won't even rant here, I've taken care of that on Facebook and Twitter. We had a nice season and to have it end like that is very disappointing though. It wasn't all the refs, our offense disappeared as it had a tendency to do, but I would not be surprised to find out when one of these refs retire that there were some very good reasons that a flag was picked up, holds were ignored while Dallas was driving for their final score, and a stomp by them was completely missed and not talked about.

Even though I'm a biased Cowboys fan, that flag being picked up was complete bull. Does it guarantee a Lions victory? No, they still could've been held to a Field Goal and the Cowboys still could've scored and gone up 24-23 and won it, but it was a horrible call and very fishy since there was really no explanation.

This comes right after ND wins against LSU on a questionable TD call. Two of my teams win huge games, and they're both being called "rigged" and "set up". Oh well.

Ehhhhh. We hear the "they're building a stadium in LA!" thing so often around here, that it's like crying wolf at this point. And this plan may be the worst one yet. He wants to build it in Inglewood? That area sucks. The one that supposed to be built next to Staples Center a couple years ago would have worked out way better.

Does St. Louis not sufficiently support the Rams or something? No clue why he'd want to look into moving them back after just twenty years.

Just moving the team to a bigger market potentially increases the franchise's paper value enough to almost pay for the stadium project.

Also, Kroenke's business model as a businessman has always been to "own the land". His first step in every shopping center he built was to buy the land. He owns the land most of his other stadiums are built on.

He won't get that here. Right now the only real option looks to be public financing to rework the Edward Jones Dome or build a new stadium on city owned land.

Attendance has been down in recent years but when the Rams were competitive they got as much local support as most other teams in the league. The big issue is their national profile. St. Louis Rams merchandise will never sell as well as Rams merchandise might if they were in a major, national market.

Yesterday all the local radio guys were talking like the Rams leaving was a done deal but the more I read about that project the less I'm sure.

Yes, there is an 80,000 stadium included in the project. But it seems to be more focused on a casino, hotels, housing and other stuff. It also sounds like Kroenke might be the minority partner in the project.

Welp, Dallas got their win. With a big ass asterisk. Had the Lions got that DPI, plus the holding, and Dez Bryant's unsportsman when we ran on the field with no helmet, the Lions would've chewed up a lot of time and even if all they got was a field goal, the shanked punt wouldn't have ever existed and Dallas would start at maybe their 20. If I see one more snapshot of Pettigrew's fingers slide across the Dallas defenders helmet, I will lose faith in humanity even more. Plus, on Dallas's game winning, drive, they missed a blatant holding call that would've went against Dallas AND a phantom holding call on 3rd down which would've made it fourth and Dallas would have to go for a field goal. The only people who don't see this are Dallas fans. Even the NFL and head of officiating came out and said they blew the game.

If any Dallas fan is blinded by delusion, I will just copy and paste this to save time trying to enlighten the weak.

Dear god. I know the focus is on the playoffs, but I've been hyperfocused on the hell that's descended upon Buffalo with the near simultaneous departure of Marrone and Orton. I'm horrified to hear that the Bills' administration is apparently looking at guys like Rex Ryan to fill in the head coach slot and fucking Mark Sanchez and Jay Cutler for QB. We were this close to being a contender. This goddamned close. :drunk

Finished my weekly pick-em 176-79. Not quite as great as I did last season, even a couple of the ESPN experts have beaten me. If only I didn't have this bad habit of picking the Panthers every week... Nonetheless I am 4-0 so far in the post season to bring me to 180-79 on the season.

This week is tough...pretty much any game can go either way and should all be pretty close.

I'm going with

Patriots

Panthers

Packers

Broncos

I want to pick the Ravens since post-season Flacco is a whole different QB and Baltimore usually plays well against NE in the post-season. I think Flacco will have a great game, but I just don't have confidence in the pass defense of Baltimore to be able to stop Gronk and all the mediocre receivers that somehow turn elite under Brady. 24-21 New England

I would also like to pick the Boys, and I think this will be the best game of the weekend but I dont foresee the cold being much of a factor, it never really seems to have as much of an effect as everybody makes it seem. I think Murray has a big game, but Rodgers ends up making enough big plays to pull out the win in the end. 30-28 Green Bay

Broncos tear apart the Colts rush defense and Peyton goes back to being good ol' Peyton. Julius Thomas cant be stopped and the Broncos win, but it wont be easy. 34-24 Denver

And I think the Panthers have the tools to squeeze out a win (I know I'm biased, but what good fan isnt?:p) and here's why. Carolina is a whole different team at this point in the season than the team they were at 3-7-1. Carolina's defense is matching that of Seattle and they are right with Seattle right now as the hottest team in football. Newton is healthy and is back to being one of the top rushing players in the entire league, I dont see Seattle being able to stop Cam from being able to scramble when he needs too. Stewart is the #1 running back over the past 5 weeks and hopefully can make an impact, even though I dont see him or Lynch rushing for over 70 yards, at the most. I think Cam has better play makers to throw too (Olsen, Benjamin) than Wilson does (Baldwin). Carolina has been playing in a win-or-go-home style now for the past 5 weeks, I think Carolina can come out on the right side of a 1 score game for the first time in the last 3 matchups against the Hawks, that is if we dont turn over the ball any more than Seattle does. 17-13 Carolina

Like I said though, to be completely honest this week is really really hard to try and predict. I can see both teams being able to win in every matchup.

The Panthers are going to get butt fucked. tbh, didn't even read your explanation as to why you're picking them (aside from being a fan), because it will likely all be garbage reasoning. Seattle at home against a bad team that escaped a bad division and beat a broken team in the WC round.

Bummer on the loss yesterday, but you can't win them all. Good game by the Packers, they simply outplayed the Boys. I don't really care about the "controversial" (though correct) catch call against Dez Bryant because they had other opportunities to pull ahead and couldn't make it happen. Besides the fumble from Murray (which hurt more than the incompletion, in my opinion) the Offense played extremely well. Dallas' defense is what killed them. They were too scared to tackle any of the Green Bay receivers. It was pathetic.

Jerry Jones and Co. have done a lot of building up the offense the last few years in the draft. Now it's time to start on the defensive side. The secondary is dreadful. About the only position on the defense worth a damn is the LBs, and they sure as hell can't win by themselves.
