HMSFlame22
yes i completely agree that the achievements are pointless. "stiff arm or juke Bob Sanders" WTF.
jedi420j
Awful achievements, typical EA sports game though you couldn't have expected them to be fun.
Jiga.Puzzle.5
All Madden achievements are always awful. This years just seem to have a bunch of fluke achievements that have little to do with skill.
balance13
All Madden achievements are always awful. This years just seem to have a bunch of fluke achievements that have little to do with skill. Basically... At least the other games had actual achievements for playing the game like 100% completion in a game or something
DOOKH8R
They are the same generic Madden (EA) achievements year after year. I am pretty damn sick of EA screwing stuff up

Chazzi27
I agree, I am currently stuck on the two achievements that require nothing but blind luck. Gang's All Here and Look What I Found. It's even more frustrating because this was one of the few games I bought DLC for and I would love to have been able to complete this game... But umm yeah pretty crappy achievements overall. Just Blaze928
I liked the DLC cheevos but the 7 man gang tackle was so stupidly random.
JackBauer24
I liked the DLC cheevos but the 7 man gang tackle was so stupidly random. Totally agree. It's just a terrible Achievement. Something better would have been to have a rookie win the MVP.
IWHBYD
They look pretty bad, I'm going to start on this tonight. I guess you can't just do the same thing every year though, passing for 500 yards in a game can only be done so many times.
Viper8828
all pro achievements are worse idea ever and that difficulty at least for me is impossible to play on. i think best achievements were for 08 - ya alot of ppl got 100% but it was most fun and made sense
Midnight Malice
No list is perfect, they threw in some variety and had good names for some of the player specific... Most sports games' lists look the same year after year, this was a nice change of pace, barring the randomly lucky ones... but a lot of games have achievements that require blind luck rather than skill. Maybe not so popular, but they are still going to be there. They could have just cut and pasted 08 or 09 for 10, but they came up with something different. I actually think they did a good job trying to keep things fresh, and not repetitively boring. 150 rushing yards, 300 passing, no interceptions, 5 TD's, 4 sacks, blah blah... t0m s3rvo
Yep. Madden 10's Achievements are pretty horrid. Considering that you can only get them by playing in the All-Pro difficulty. Some people just don't play Madden 24/7, EA. (Like me). Time to cut people a break.
Robstradamus
Achievements...psh. They'd may as well call them Accidents. Like I'm going to get a 7 man tackle any other way than completely randomly. It's their way to keep you playing alot, and playing online, not to mention buying their stupid DLC. Like 60 bucks wasn't enough for them already. 60 bucks for a rehash of the same game we've been playing for a decade. Tiburon has everyone fooled. IWHBYD
Well now that I've played and gotten all of the offline ones I must say they were not that bad. Also none of them seemed all that difficult if you just take the time to set things up to get the "luck" achievements it's pretty easy. Also remember to use max rewinds. KnifeinYourGuts
Yes, these achievements are just as bad, if not worse than last year. I mean c'mon! 09: Throw for 500 yards with the Dolphins [or something like that] 10: Pick off Peyton Manning 3 times. I don't really know why I still buy the Madden games, it's definitely not for achieves.
soflyinMS
I got the pick off Payton Manning achievement online. It's really not hard when your playing someone that's really bad.
b-Dub
I have one achievement, the created player one. I don't see myself ever trying to get the others. Totally pointless.
BKS37
I don't see the problem with the achievementss except for the stupid player specific part of them. I would be fine wth a intercept three passes as opposed to intercept three Tom Brady passes. Why would they make them so specific?
Chathams Finest
This years list is 100x better than those stupid SuperStar achievements. Madden kept it fresh, and in reality it takes more time to set up the sliders than actually getting the achievements
newbsicle
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the achievements in Madden '10. Generally speaking though, the achievements for most games suck. At least in my opinion. On a positive note I do like the presentation for Madden this year. It's kinda been the same since 03 and they finally mixed it up enough so it at least looks like a new game. Afflicted
They need to have more franchise achievements like win the Super Bowl with the Lions or Rams lol
kiskit
Most of the cheevos weren't horrible (tho weird) but I hated the few that were pretty random like the gang's all here took me off & on til today to get while the fumble recovery pile up I got kinda quickly. If they required skill great but this random cheevos on any game sux.
