Call Of Duty (7) : "Black Ops"

"

According to a report from Tek9 (via MapModNews), an Activision insider has reportedly said that the next Call of Duty title will be called “Call of Duty: Black Ops”.

The report states the game, being developed by Treyarch, will take place in various times in history during the Cold War, from World War II to up to present day, with missions in Vietnam, Cuba, South America and even the infamous SAS mission during the Iranian embassy siege in London in April 1980.

It was previously suggested the game would only take place during the Vietnam War, with a release in November, which the report also says. It clashes with a date on an internal release list from retailer GAME, saying it’ll be out in October

The report also claims the zombie mode from World at War will be included, as well as dedicated servers for its online on PC. Previous CoD title Modern Warfare 2 didn’t include the feature."

Lets see if its true...They will bring back dedicated servers back to pc, but they should add them to consoles also, because thats where the money coming from.

Undisclosed sources as Activision have leaked a few new details about the upcoming entry to the long running Call of Duty franchise.

Black Ops as it will be known is scheduled for release in November of this year and is to be set in the period between WWII and the Present Day. It is also mentioned that some of the missions will see you visiting Cuba and South America.

As well as these details it was also mentioned that "Zombie Mode" may feature in the new game.

You can read the actual information leak below.

"... With a scheduled release date of November 2010 the game is still in full development but undisclosed sources over at Activision have stated that "Call of Duty 7 will be set in recent history, between WWII and present day". Besides this information the sources have also confirmed that some missions will take us to Cuba and South America, hinting again in the direction of a Cold War / Vietnam based game.

Also revealed was that in certain missions the players are able to play as a member of SAS (the Special Air Service), the principle special forces unit of the British Army. One of these SAS missions pitches you in close combat during a mission in the Iranian embassy in London during the 1980's.

It has also been confirmed that Call of Duty 7: Black Ops will feature the popular zombie mode, in which players get to shoot down hordes of zombies, a feature that could not be seen in the Infinity Ward produced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

And last but not least, dedicated servers will also be part of the new Call of Duty game, much to the delight of PC gamers across the world. After Activision fired Vince Zampella and Jason West from Infinity Ward, it seems like they are taking yet another step back from the direction they had taken with Modern Warfare 2 by re-adding dedicated servers."

Zombie mode is maybe back... :|

With the cuba and stuff it still could be vietnam war.

It sounds like it may be a good game but I am still not getting excited realy.
