nayR2012
Great achievement list for a Poker game. Will require players to do some of the more risky techniques. Big risk = achievements apparently!. I just hope that many of the 'win this showdown by doing this or that' achievements don't require you to be playing in a multiplayer game. Now, don't get me wrong, I will be playing this title almost exclusively for the multiplayer. But opportunities to get achievements like: "Get all remaining opponents to fold on the river with three or more diamonds on the board." are likely to present themselves, however if everyone is looking for them, it will be harder to achieve. Whereas the AI should be fairly easy to bluff via High % situation win conditions like above. Glad to see they put together a solid achievement list. Really excited for this now. Any idea of release date?

Shouldn't be long now. Mine own fault for asking an off topic question in my own thread :/ And back on topic: My vote for hardest achievement goes to: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2579/-9cxzw==.jpgDown the Toilet: Lose a Showdown with a flush. or http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2579/UPhjBew=.jpgNaval Battle: Win a Showdown in which more than one player reveals a full house. Even if the flush or full house are on the table, it's still luck of the draw who has the better combo.
d00gler
gaaah I hate people that will avoid this just because they're intimidated by the achievements! Play it for FUN for f-sakes! I don't believe a poker game should take less than 2000 hands to complete anyways. 1 good hand win does not a poker pro make!

Even if the flush or full house are on the table, it's still luck of the draw who has the better combo. If those are the 2 hardest achievements then we got very lucky with this list. Both of those should come easily enough in normal play. There doesn't seem to be anything as time consuming as the 'Win with 10 4-of-a-kinds' from the last game. After perusing the full list I can't see anything that will pose too much of a problem (unless you always fold 7 2 offsuit every time you get it - personally, I always like to see the flop unless there's a big pre-flop raise). The only one that could be a hassle is the 'Earn level 100' one depending on how slow the levelling up process is. But even that shouldn't be a problem for a poker fan - hence the name of the achievement, I guess.

nayR2012
If those are the 2 hardest achievements then we got very lucky with this list. Both of those should come easily enough in normal play. Your right. Sooner or later all achievement opportunities will present themselves. The only one that could be a hassle is the 'Earn level 100' one depending on how slow the levelling up process is. But even that shouldn't be a problem for a poker fan - hence the name of the achievement, I guess. The leveling system seems fair, however for people playing more for achievements then true poker fans, the grind might be a chore. I'm against anyone playing public games to boost, but this is an achievement website, so maybe someone will come up with a technique to boost XP in a private multiplayer game. Another tough one for poker newbies is Chair Glue. Maybe it's because we are still in beta, so it takes a little bit to get a game going. But competition is solid out there at the moment and winning 1st in 10 games of 9 people will take some determination. In other news I posted an achievement guide here: link Been on the site for 5 years, about time I start contributing. Feel free to share any tips or suggestions. littlejay
It seems just betting blinds in a private match gave good xp for me the other night. If two people had turbo controllers, that might be a decent way to rank up.
Crash Geom
Stupid question - how do you set up a private match? Quick tip: Finish all the Pro-Takedown before Level 50 since no xp in single player mode normally might as well get not waste the xp.

I've also played ranked tournaments in all 3 locations but it did not unlock for me either. Do pro takedowns to unlock the casinos then just play anything in each area until you have played every table. Most people don't seem to understand there are at least 3 tables for each casino and they are random. Just keep playing. Don't try the same thing over and over. nayR2012
I just updated the guide, but wanted to reiterate that for On Tour you will unlock all 3 casinos by level 20. You do not need to play the pros. The table locations are selected randomly. Simply start and quit ring games until you notice that you've played at 3 different looking tables per casino. CougraCat
This game is just as good as the first one and to top it off the list is pretty simple not to mention free! Only ones that will take a lot of time are the level orientated achievements.
DailyGrind
Quick tip: Finish all the Pro-Takedown before Level 50 since no xp in single player mode normally might as well get not waste the xp. This was my intention, but apparently the devs lowered that XP cap to level 25.

Mahtan Tinuviél
Naval Battle looks to be glitched... I got it with a 2 pair, while no other had Full Houses (unless they counted the foleded players taht may have gotten it) I did notice a couple of full houses on the table before the showdown I won it at though. Calv1n
:woop:Just go all in on the first hand. If they go for it (Which they probably will) you can beat them and secure the win.
Tahae T
All the tables look the same. What's different about them? It's quite hard to see a difference in table locations. I have the achievement and its still isn't obvious. All i know is that wether your playing single player or multiplayer - there are at least 3 tables per "Venue" for example the amazon room - will have 3 table locations in itself. So technically you have to sit @ 9 tables. = 3 in each across the 3 venues. i would recomend starting on amazon room - playing 10 1vs1 ring games against computer then doing same for harrah's. You more than like have all locations done for caesers palace before you got the hump and looked on here for the answer
CreepyUncleMike
I've got a question about Nice Quads. How does it work if you buy back in? Like if the buy in is 500 and you've bought back in once, do you need to make 2000 or 4000?
tR Player1
I've got a question about Nice Quads. How does it work if you buy back in? Like if the buy in is 500 and you've bought back in once, do you need to make 2000 or 4000? Doesn't matter how many times you re-load, if you're in a 500 chip table, having 2000 chips should earn you the achievement.
exit9500
All the tables look the same. What's different about them? Caesars Palace: Escalators behind dealerDealer facing a poolDealer facing a spiral staircase Harrah's New Orleans: (Level 10) Slots to the left and right of dealerTwo Jester displays in front of and to the left of the dealer Three TV screens behind the dealer (the same jester displays from the previous one can also be seen from this table) Amazon Room: (Level 20) Table roped offRed barriers surround tableGold bracelets behind dealer One other note: This would not unlock for me by using multiplayer games to get the casinos I hadn't unlocked, but it unlocked as soon as I played the Amazon tables in single player (previously played the other 6 in single player).
