Of course, just when I think I'm finally done with my cheat-sheets with all the mission payouts (barring new missions being added), they go and change the numbers, and provide bonuses for playing with others (although there are already bonuses for playing with friends/crew members).

 

And so much for my thoughts of $5.5m being enough for the next DLC, as I don't think it'll cover one of my characters, much less both (as my crew's leader and one of the top pilots, I'm pretty much obligated to get all the new high-end aircraft)!

plus I can't say im that excited anyway, since theres already loads of people in public lobbies who get the army jet and troll people with constant death now they can buy a new jet and troll people with that without the hassle of going to the army base :3....so in like a week or so public lobbies will likely become worse then they are now lol

And yet another reason I don't do public lobbies. But the thing I'm most excited for is having options in air races! I kind of suspected this was going to be coming a few weeks ago too (outside of all the rumors, as there are just so many as to what this update would be).

 

Back when the Content Creator was added I didn't realize you could create air/sea races (unless you couldn't, and those were just added in at some point). Well, one day I decided to create another race, and that's when I saw the option, and immediately came up with a couple ideas. When I finally got around to working on one (a Top Gun-inspired race I later posted in the UGC thread), I was disappointed that Lazers couldn't be used, as that's the only plane I had in mind for the race! For some unknown reason, a couple weeks ago I loaded up that very race in the creator, only to find a new plane class (Jets) was added, with only one vehicle in it (the Lazer).

 

To me, it didn't make much sense that a new class of vehicles would be added to races if it only had one option, so I figured more jets were inbound. And here we go! Can't wait to see how they fare in my race (and in general)!

EDIT: Testing to see if the disappearing hat at the start of missions issue was fixed (it was REALLY bugging me!) and I ended up doing Lost MC RIP, and the payout on that was nearly tripled (and that's not even a hard mission)! We'll see what all missions got a bump in pay.

Fuck me purple, they added a shitload of new parachutes/reserve parachutes and parachute bags. There goes my money! :(

 

The Flight Suit for $50,000 looks funny too.

Top Changes

 

  • Cash rewards are no longer reduced by 50% on replay of a Contact Mission. Players will now receive the full reward for completing a Mission every time.
  • Players now receive more Cash for playing Contact Missions in groups:
    • Two players - +10% Cash
    • Three players - +20% Cash
    • Four players - +30% Cash

     

    [*]Cash and RP for Contact Missions have been rebalanced. This is to ensure that all Contact Missions pay out a fair reward in relation to the mission difficulty and amount of time taken. The potential cash payouts have increased significantly overall, although some specific missions have been reduced as a result of the rebalance.

    [*]The San Andreas Flight School is now open for business in GTA Online. The Flight School can be accessed via a Job corona, from rank 6 onwards, at Los Santos International Airport indicated by a small plane icon on the map. Ten flying lessons have been added as part of the Flight School which will help to improve players’ flying skills.

    [*]Two new Planes and one new Helicopter have been added to the Elitas website: Buckingham Mil-Jet, Western Besra, and the Buckingham Swift (Two liveries)

    [*]Players are now able to purchase and equip a reserve Parachute at Ammu-Nation. They can choose different canopy designs for their primary and reserve parachutes.

    [*]One new vehicle (plus a roofless variation) has been added to the Legendary Motorsport website : Invetero Coquette Classic

    [*]25 new ‘flags of the world’ themed parachute bags have been added to Ammu-Nation in GTA Online only.

    [*]Six new multicolored parachute canopies have been added to Ammu-Nation:

    • Air Force Chute
    • Desert Chute
    • Shadow Chute
    • High Altitude Chute
    • Airborne Chute
    • Sunrise Chute

     

    [*]A new Flight Suit outfit has been added for Male and Female characters. This is available in all clothes stores in the outfits menu.

    [*]A new Flight Cap accessory has been added for Male and Female characters. This is available in all clothes stores in the hats menu.

    [*]Players who downgrade to smaller garages will now be able to request vehicles stored in previous garages from the Mechanic.

    [*]Players in Tanks will now show as such with a specific Tank icon on the Minimap.

    [*]Substantial changes made to On Call functionality to enable players to enter their choice of Job as quickly as possible.

    [*]Fixed an issue where Crew Leaders could occasionally be unable to put a Crew Emblem on Jackets or Hoodies.

    [*]Fixed an issue in the Creator where placed props would not appear correctly.

New Features / Updates

 

  • The color of the player’s Parachute Bag can now be chosen through a new option in the Interaction menu. They can also toggle the visibility of the parachute bag if they have a parachute equipped.
  • A player’s Mental State now also decreases over time whilst using the Spectate feature.
  • ‘NEW’ now appears on invites, alongside the Job type, for all Rockstar Created or Verified Jobs that have not yet been played by the recipient. This only appears on feed invite notifications, not on the phone.
  • Short- term RP and Cash bonuses will now show in Job coronas as well as on the Next Job Voting Screen.
  • News screens shown during transitions will now alert players if some Jobs have RP or Cash bonuses for playing them.
  • Both the Driver and Passenger are now able to see direction arrows in Rally Races.
  • If players choose to use a custom vehicle in a Race, that vehicle will now be saved and used as the default on the vehicle selection screen of the next Race.
  • Players are now able to talk to one another in spectator mode once they have finished a Race.
  • Players are now able to change the spectator camera mode and angle when they begin to spectate after completing a Job.
  • A small change has been made to time formatting on Leaderboards so that they now read as “00:00.000”.
  • The cap for the amount of Cash stolen by Muggers has been adjusted to allow for differences in level.
  • Players can now set the duration for One on One Deathmatches in the Interaction Menu.
  • A new on/off option has been added to the Interaction Menu to allow players to choose whether to wear a Helmet when using Motorbikes.
  • Co-op teams now appear grouped on Mission Leaderboards.
  • When using a Plane, you can now toggle the minimap by using D-pad down.

  • Fixed an issue where players could be charged multiple times for riding the Ferris Wheel.
  • Fixed an issue to ensure that players who set Mercenaries on opposing team players during Deathmatches correctly receive a point if the Mercenaries kill a rival player.
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible for players to be pulled back onto the Ferris Wheel involuntarily if they were standing too close after getting off.
  • Fixed an issue in Vehicle Deathmatches where players could be targeted but would not be properly blipped on the Minimap.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs and their vehicles would appear in the way of properties introduced with the Independence update.
  • Fixed an issue where players could hang for a short period of time when entering property.

and since theres a higher payout per person in the game, does this mean doing judging the jury with 8 players is the best thing to do? unless it doesn't stack that high ;p

Kind of, I played the mission with only another person on HARD and we only got like 2500RP and $14.250, we did it fast too.

 

Then I played it with a full lobby of four players and we got 1877RP $7.310, completed in the fastest way possible.

 

So I really don't know WHAT THE FUCK is going on.

 

SOLO - Rooftop Rumble (HARD): 1485RP and $8440!

 

Well that's about that than, no more $18750. They fucked the mission for good now. As for the 14k above, most likely because I played it the first time AFTER UPDATE 1.16. So first time payment!

I'm pleased to get a new Update even if it's not the Casino or Heists Update that most people wanted.

 

I have to admit that I'm glad R* changed Rooftop Rumble, hopefully it won't dominate the Quick Job > Join Contact Mission Option anymore. As a Rank 305 with over $24m banked I would like to play a mixture of other Missions to keep GTA Online interesting.

 

I'm really hoping they've fixed the bugs that crept in after the previous Update too, as they were really frustrating and putting me off from playing the Game.

Yeah well STOCKS N SCARES (Lester) still gives a decent $15.000-$16.000 (+2600RP) on HARD. Will check for CHEMICAL EXTRACTION, HACK N DASH and RICHMEN next.

It's always like $7.000-8.000 now, Solo/Hard/Speedrun.

I got 10,200-ish with 4 others just now...although we did fail once due to 1 idiot blowing up the document holders tissue paper car, so maybe repeating is why i got 10k not the 4k you got earlier as it clearly took longer lol

Funny playing Rich Men in Richman three tims now and I get +$18.000 everytime, Solo/Hard/with others.

 

Edit: And you were right, the longer you need for a mission the more CASH/RP you get but it's only a slight difference. Round about 1.000-2.000!

 

HACK N DASH is only $13.000 on Hard.

Was never a fan of that mission. Still have to try SINKING FEELINGS, PARKING GARAGE and JUDGING THE JURY too. You go ahead! :)

I don't like it either (infact im pretty sure thats the only mission I haven't completed lol) its just 1 someone could do to see if the payout is actually worthwhile now :p
