Milk Viper
I would be for banning it if the game was competitive and regulated, but it isn't. The truth of the matter is this game is exactly like the first one, with shittier drops and an improved story. Farming for shit is old, we've been doing it since PSO and Diablo, likely before that. Making it worse isn't helping the game, especially when the lead developer bitches about people bitching about them not alleviating it and making one of the parts that removes much of the chore out of it. Besides weapon quality, I used to argue that Legendaries are meaningful now but I don't actually use 80% of the ones I've run into. Likewise, the first DLC doesn't justify anything behind the reasoning they're putting in MMO Commendations for once a day Raid Bosses that don't reward you for the effort. Which, can also easily be overturned by changing your clock or editing your save file number. Regardless this is basically tldr'd into they're trying to over balance the game, and we're not getting shit for it besides Randy's own version of Artistic Integrity. Agree with this, I must. incinerator950
It's sad, but it has merit. I only use the Bee for Raid Bosses. I don't even stay in lobbies with Bee spamming, even if I can kill things faster than the entire team. The last time I killed Gee, I died around half his health remaining, and my friends had to finish him. He died by the acid and my friends were locked in the chamber, I had to go pull them out. No drops, no kill challenge. I spoke to some friends, the entire concept is the reason why my friend refuses to even buy the DLC, despite it being fairly solid for a story and enjoyable. Hyperius and Gee should be event bosses, and Seraph rarity should be completely better than Legendary. The way I see it, this is Gearbox either trying to curb Duping (I don't see why though), or they're trying to stretch control over a game before attempting a jump into an MMO. Which for the record, seems to be a possibility with BL2's ending. Also, who the fuck thought it was a good idea not to carry the Skiff to the vanilla game? Direkin
Then again, I'm quite glad that the Bee will be nerfed. It means I can play the game properly again in co-op, rather than having my buddy kill everything in sight before I get the chance to. That's frustrating beyond belief, and that ol' boot button looked quite tempting on many occasions too.
Vindicator51
~Fixed an issue causing players to sometimes crash or freeze after killing Master Gee in the Captain Scarlett DLC. ~Restored some lost progress to players who have had their profiles reset. To ensure you are credited for as much progress as possible, please load your character, select "Continue" on the Main Menu, and then "Save and Quit" after you enter the world. Repeat this process for each character in your character list. I would say those are the two most important worth noting over the Bee change. Also, no more Fleshstick boosting....so it looks like people will actually have to play if they want to rank up....gasp! Good thing i got all of them to 50 before finishing the game. Vindicator51
Which is fine until they raise the level cap.....or add new characters. I only leveled Gaige to 50 because i got it for free. Unless something is tied to new characters, i couldn't care less. Besides, i'm sure there's a workaround if they release more levels.
WalterWhite
Which is fine until they raise the level cap.....or add new characters. I would be surprised if the level cap goes up more than five levels at a time and shocked if it goes past 69. They probably think that's super clever and hilarious and will stick with it. There's no way the cap will go very high because they wouldn't want to let us max out all of our skill trees, unless they don't give skill points, which at this point I wouldn't put past them. So it shouldn't be any chore to reach the cap with new story content. Not to mention I didn't even do the Pirate bullshit in True Vault Hunter Mode so all that experience is just sitting there waiting, in addition to the fifty missions I haven't turned in. And most people who have done the Fleshstick boost probably haven't touched hardly any story missions, so there's even more experience out there. DividedbyN1ght
There are other ways to farm Terramorphous or any other boss when this patch goes live; Some will be just as fast as fast as now. LordDVS
Nerfing the Bee, Buffing the raid bosses, and not increasing the drop rates can only mean one thing. MORE DUPING. More like, MODS ARE COOL. Seriously, watch how many more modded gear start to make their rounds. Dark times ahead.

Meldar
I don't see the point in nerfing items in games that do not have competitive multiplayer. So they nerf the one thing that got you through bosses quickly while trying to get the boss to drop that legenedary item, head, or skin. Then they raise the health of some of the bosses so they take even longer to kill. Now more time and effort will be needed to kill bosses but the drop rates have not been increased. The raid bosses are aggravating on TVHM as they are so cheap but if you want the crystals to buy the new gear you have no choice now. Gearbox has turned Borderlands 2 into a grind fest made for co-op gamers only. Even though I was an idiot and bought the session pass for this game I'm cutting my loses, I've dumped the game. I play games mostly solo these days and for fun. Edited November 15, 2012 by Meldar
Direkin
Also for my Blue comment I felt it was random to buff just him out of every other mini-boss in the game. And just Willhelm too; also a bit easy.

Delirium1138
Meh, I really don't care about The Bee getting nerfed. Yes I used it with the Conference Call but I don't really mind if I go back to doing things the old fashioned way. Plus I miss my 50K+ shields. neworecneps
I've never had the Bee, I'm level 48 and was going to start farming when I hit 50 and had finished playthrough 2... I'm a bit bummed because I've not even attempted Tera and I prefer to play solo... Guess I'll just have to do it the hard way!

Brawl Kirby
50k AMP damage is way to much I mean come on one clipping terra in 5 seconds? He is supposed to be some sort of a challenge and even if they nerf the bee he will be easy. I also do like that they weaken hyperious and and gee on normal so I can finally beat them and gain my achievement
juniorvarsity33
I understand the amp damage adjustment to each pellet will prob change across the board... But do you think existing bee shield stats will be modified? Or only future drops?! Just a thought...

I figure any item whether it be weapon or shield, class mod..etc. Will get nerfed, we would want to make their game boss characters look like pussies.
