rjupiter
I was looking over a guide and it say that you need to make sacrifices to Kali to get a certain item for your journal to pop. does anyone know how many it take or is it just random? i have been sacrificing dozens and nothing. Redskinsfan26
The easiest way to receive the Kapala from Kali takes only two damsels (that have to be alive) and placing them on the alter.
rjupiter
ok, well i have sacrificed Damsels. do you mean it has to be two at a time?
Redskinsfan26
ok, well i have sacrificed Damsels. do you mean it has to be two at a time? No, not at the same time. There's only one Damsel per level. You must sacfrice one Damsel at an alter and then another in later level. For example: If I sacrifice a damsel in The Mines 1-3 (and without angering Kali by destroying the alter), I can sacrifice another damsel in The Jungle 2-2 and receive the Kapala. rjupiter
sorry, i meant to say in a row. so does it have to be in different location? because i believe i got the Kali alter on two diff level in the jungle.
Thee Elf
It doesn't have to be in a row or in different locations (i.e. one in the mines and one in the jungle). The Kali alter is a cumulative count of sacrifices. So depending on what you sacrifice and whether it's alive or dead will determine how quickly you get the Kapala. Enemy: Vampire Stunned: 1 Dead: No Corpse Enemy: Man Trap Stunned: 2 Dead: No Corpse Enemy: Caveman Stunned: 2 Dead: 1 Enemy: Yeti Stunned: 4 Dead: 2 Enemy: Hawkman Stunned: 6 Dead: 3 Enemy: Damsel Stunned: 12 Dead: 8 Enemy: Shopkeeper Stunned: 12 Dead: 6 Once you received a total of 16 favor points you should be rewarded with the Kapala. However, if you accidentally, destroy an altar you pretty much ruined your chance at getting the Kapala for that game. Destroy it once: Lots of spiders Destroy it twice: Permanent Ball-n-Chain attached to you Destroy it thrice: Dark on all levels
rjupiter
thanks for the help. i am assuming you can't die for this to still apply? say you sacrifice a like 6 in the jungle then die in the ice would the count still be good?
