*SPOILERS* Achievement Walkthrough *SPOILERS*

-- Foreword:

 

This walkthrough assumes that the player knows how to move the character around the locations and manipulate the various items required to complete each task (ie you've completed the training section without resorting to a walkthrough!). The numbers in brackets are to show you how near you are to gaining an achievement and is something I've made up myself to keep track of the more annoying ones! I have decided to keep the convention for this, and subsequent, episodes!

 

This is not a definitive solution, some of the puzzles can be completed in a different order and some can be completed in a completely different way. I have listed each interaction exactly how it is displayed at the top-right of the screen. If you see something different in this action description, then you're doing it wrong! I can't be held accountable for the results! This walkthrough is set-out exactly how I did it, it does work! HONEST!

 

If you follow this walkthrough as it is you will get all 12 achievements in the correct order, however you will have experienced about 60% of the game and well under 50% of the conversations. You might want to play the game through on your own before consulting this walkthrough if you want to experience more of the game (and get a proper sense of achievement by solving the puzzles yourself). For the rest of you... here we go once more, into the 200GP breach dear friends!

 

NOTE: In practice, it is recommended that you print out this walkthrough & cross off each action as, and when, you complete it. Make sure you SAVE often and in different slots incase you make a drastic mistake; this walkthrough does not cater for every eventuality, or mistake, and, because of this, you may be left in a situation where you have no idea what the hell to do next! Please, don't come crying to me if that happens!

 

(And yes, I did just copy/paste this FOREWORD from the first 3 episodes and added a few little bits to make it look different!)

 

 

NOTE: I still do not know how the COMMON TATER achievement works... every time I've played it it has unlocked at different places! However, it has unlocked EVERY time, so if it doesn't unlock for you, just move Paneer around until it does! Sorry, but I really DO NOT know how it works!

Use lever. (Left of the side-table, on the wall to the right)

 

Use Dining Room Door.

Use scissors. (On the side-table, to the right)

Use scissors with newspaper. (On the armchair, to the right of the window)

Use eavesdropper. (In the crate, to the left)

Use Hallway Door.

 

Use Front Door.

Use eavesdropper.

Go to town. (Click on the front garden gate)

 

Use Prickly Thicket envelope.

Use crates of Nut Butter.

Use photo of Wallace with Extreme Putting Magazine. (To the right, at the newsagents)

Walk to West Wallaby Street.

 

Use sticky nut butter with feeding tray. (Infront of the tree in Felicity Flitt's garden, by the fence)

Use Super Sticky Nutter Butter.

Go to town.

 

Use sticky Nutter butter with super sticky nut butter. (The crates, to the left of Mr. Panner's) (Lurching Toward the Altar 1/1)

Use driver with ball.

You will get all three clues as you complete each task, just skip Wallace's clue dialogue between actions.

 

Use tee time bell. (Right of Duncan McBiscuit)

Use slicing wedge. (The blue club)

Use slicing wedge with far tee. (Triple Mulligan 1/3)

Wait for Duncan to stop laughing and then take his shot.

Use slicing wedge with far tee. (Triple Mulligan 2/3)

Wait, again, for Duncan to stop laughing and then take his shot.

Use slicing wedge with far tee. (Triple Mulligan 3/3)

Exit view.

 

- Task 1 - The Porcelain Key

Go to town. (Clue #1)

Go to town. (Go to West Wallaby Street)

Use Front Door.

Use glass of milk. (On the dinner table)

Use wrench. (In the crate, by the porridge gun)

Use Hallway Door.

Use Front Door.

Go to town. (Go to the Town Center)

Use spanner with jail window. (Bleeding Heart 1/1)

Use milk with Edwina Gabberley. (At the newsagents)

Use driver with super-sticky nut butter.

Use driver (sticky) with Constable Dibbins. (By the fountain, left of the newsagents)

Walk to West Wallaby Street.

Use driver (Ganges grip) with gnome. (The gnome with the empty hands, nearest to the fence) (One Gnome Too Many 1/1)

Go to town. (Go to Prickly Thicket)

Use driver (Ganges grip) with snooker ball. (The cue ball, to the right) (Clue #2) (The Missing Links 1/4)

 

- Task 2 - The Silver Key

Use tee-hee time bell. (Right of Mr. Paneer, on the wall) (Punchlined Out 1/9)

Use tee-hee time bell. (Punchlined Out 2/9)

Use tee-hee time bell. (Punchlined Out 3/9)

Use tee-hee time bell. (Punchlined Out 4/9)

Use tee-hee time bell. (Punchlined Out 5/9)

Use tee-hee time bell. (Punchlined Out 6/9)

Use clock. (To the left of the panels of Duncan's ancestor, Rory McBiscuit)

Walk past the 5 panels of Rory McBiscuit. (Clue #3)

Use music box. (On the shelf, to the right of the panels of Rory McBiscuit) (The Missing Links 2/4)

 

- Task 3 - The Gold Key

Use tee time bell.

Use hooking cleek. (The red club)

Use hooking cleek with close tee.

Use hooking cleek with straight iron. (Duncan's yellow club) (This must be done while Duncan is laughing. You will restart the task if you fail to swap the clubs)

Use slicing wedge.

Use slicing wedge with close tee.

Use slicing wedge with hooking cleek. (Duncan's red club) (Again, must be done while Duncan is laughing. You will restart the task if you fail to swap the clubs)

Use straight iron.

Use straight iron with close tee. (Or far tee, both work) (The Missing Links 3/4)

 

Use porcelain key with porcelain padlock. (The painting behind Duncan, right-hand padlock)

Use silver key with silver padlock. (The middle padlock)

Use gold key with gold padlock. (The left-hand padlock) (The Missing Links 4/4)

3 in 1 day haha you are a walkthrough machine dude!! Excellent work yet again. This'll make it an even 600g for me on these today - back to Forza3 now I guess haha

 

600GS isn't too bad for 11 hours work! Time for bed, methinks... DRAGON AGE arrives tomorrow! Need to be fit for that, I reckon!

Ok I dont get this. For the joke book achieve have you missed 3 clues off or is there only 6 to do as you've put the following in the guide dude....

Nevermind... I just noticed it carries on in Chapter3.... sorry to scare you haha

 

Another weird achievement this; my original walkthrough had all 21 jokes, including the one you can get from Monty Muzzle in jail. However, getting to Monty as Gromit requires you to complete the first two Chapters in the exact way it's written in the official TTG walkthrough. You cannot get to him if you follow mine, even if you do not let him out of jail!

However, it seems you only need Paneer to complete his joke collection for the achievement. Again, TTG missing a trick, there!

 

(If you're interested in hearing them all in Chapter 3, you need to show the JOKE BOOK to Crum 4 times, Paneer a total of 5 times in 2 locations, Wallace once in all three locations, Monty Muzzle, Winnie Gabberley, Felicity Flitt & Prudence Flitt. Duncan and Mr Nutter have no jokes to tell!)

Are you definatly doing it 7 times in a row when you have to get the ball out of the sewer? I missed it the 1st time around as id never have thought about selecting the clubs x7 in a million years but had no problem getting it on my 2nd playthrough when I got to the point that the guide/walkthrough mentions :woop:

I'm in the same boat as him. Followed the guide to the letter swung the clubs seven times and nothing, please clairify that section, because edwina doesn't let you use the fan, so whats the deal?

 

*edit, paneer wasn't going to the town square in my game for some reason even when showing the wallace sign, started up a new game and he finally went.
