Machiavelli
Yes that's right, I've never even tried it. I'm debating heavily on whether to get it for my Wii. I'm sure I'll end up getting it as soon as I get my Wii back from Nintendo (they're fixing it, and for free!). I feel so alone and weird, is there anyone here in a similar boat? HoodMod
Rock Band was and still is the closest thing to a GH for me and I plan on getting GHII soon. I have played my friends PS2 version though, but not much. Also you probably shouldn't have that in your sig its an ad and a mod or admin will probably delete it. Klister NL
lol.. I own that boat.. I've never played anything like GH and I'm not thinking of doing it anytime soon either. It's just not my thing. I don't care about music, nor care about guitars
newbsicle
NOPE. I played guitar hero and microsoft is charging me to fix my console. My warranty was 21 days over lol
eXyle
I never did, I'd like to try once, but none of my mates have it and that guitar is so expensive when you're only 16.
Daywalker-san
If you want to sample it download Frets on Fire for the PC. it uses the keyboard as the guitar
StumpyFlesh
I hate guitar hero...I have played rock band, but the only thing I have done is sing (because I can sing pretty well). I love rock music, especially the bass guitar, so I have been tempted to try the game and only play bass, but that's not what the game is about, and I don't think I would get much out of it. I am in that boat though. All of my friends play it; even my girlfriend plays on expert.
Deyankees1
I have GH3 for Wii and its great. Planning on getting Rock Band for 360 one of these days. PS: Rock Band is coming to Wii.

DropDeadArtemus
I had never played any guitar hero before I got Guitar Hero III. Im glad I got the game because I like it a lot. Rock Band is fun too. If your debating on whether to get it, I would say "Go For It"!!!!!
Bax x360a
Yes that's right, I've never even tried it. I'm debating heavily on whether to get it for my Wii. I'm sure I'll end up getting it as soon as I get my Wii back from Nintendo (they're fixing it, and for free!). I feel so alone and weird, is there anyone here in a similar boat? Definitely get it!! I'm not into the guitar at all but love Guitar Hero. Why get it for the Wii though? If you get GH3 for the 360, you'll have a better online community to play with/agaisn't. MadMartign
Yea i played it one time at gamecrazy. I am not really one for rhythm games like guitar hero or DDR. I'd rather make real music.
gatorbait
I use to be in this boat but it wasn't until the Black Friday sales when GH2 was only $60 that I decided to hop on the bandwagon. It's absolutely worth the money and even for $90. I was surprised by how many play this game and how popular it is with its price tag but it is certainly worth the price of admission. Even if those who haven't played aren't into rhythm games of any sort you should still check out Guitar Hero. It's especially fun when you're playing to songs you enjoy and I've even come to appreciate more songs just by playing them through Guitar Hero. It get be frustrating when you're first trying to master hard or insane, in my case, but it's still great fun.
Th3 Apache Dog
I love this game. I used to hate it though:pMy parents bought it for my brother, we both never played it. Then my friend came over, and he saw we had it, and the rest is history:pI used to suck very bad too. I remember I didn't want to play because I was so bad:p
Matrarch
I didn't get into Guitar Hero till this summer. I played it at a Best Buy, failed miserably, and paid for a copy of the game. I'm curious to as to why you would chose the Wii version. I'm not familiar with it since I don't own it, but the community is better developed for the X360. I'm not sure if there's downloadable content since the way doesn't have a hard drive. Seems like, if you have a choice, the Wii version wouldn't be the best one to make. Plus, you can play Rock Band and GH2 without having to buy a new guitar on the 360 version. But yeah, definitely give it a try. It's not for everyone, but a large amount of people seem to enjoy it. SmallCheezFry
I am in the same boat as you. My sister even has the game with two guitars but I just never had the interest to even try it. I imagine I'll grow bored with the games I own and try it one day to see how it is.

TheLazyWolf
I just wanted to post and encourage all of you that haven't played GH2 or Rockband to try it. Play it on a different tag if you are worried about messing up your completion percentage. Having played guitar for 13 years, and teaching for several, i was real snooty about GH2 when it first caught on. Then i finally played it and was immediately hooked. Even if you aren't that into music, you should still at least try it. Its a great way to get exposed to music, and you might get into it later. I believe in it so much, i got my 50something year old parents a 360 and rockband for X-mas this year, and now they play it all the time.. Thats another reason to check it out, if you got friends who don't like video games that much, you will convert them with rockband:woop:
HiddenPandas
I love rythmn games...guitar hero quickly became one of my biggest time takers ever. Its really good for someone who just likes sitting down for a few minutes, without having to completely immerse yourself in a game. You know, when you have like 5 minutes and just need something to amuse yourself real quick. And before someone starts with the "I'd rather make real music" Remember, it's just a game. I have alot of friends, myself include, who are musically inclined who love this game. Have you had a chance to try it out yet by any chance? Denny Crane
^^^ Denny Crane wanna give me GH 2 & 3? Lol I'll pay shipping. How much did that cost? Blackjaw x
I never played it until a month or so ago, I always assumed it was lame but I actually love it and Rock Band. I play on a separate, offline account though so I don't have to worry about achievements.
