Introduction:

There are a few aspects of the game we should go over before you get started. Firstly, the only mode that has online co-op is the campaign. All other modes can only be played solo or local co-op.

TPKOs (Turtle Power Knock Outs) are extremely useful in combat. They're a sort of finisher you can inflict on your opponents when you build your combo up enough. I would upgrade these to the 5 hit threshold before anything else. (They start at 10 hit.) You will also know you've reached the threshold because the number in your combo indicator turns the color of your turtles signature color.

Before attempting the Challenge mode, Survival, or the Arcade you're going to want to upgrade your turtles. The campaign is the first mode you should play. Once you've beaten the game you'll have some miscellaneous achievements to work on. By the time you're finished with those you should be upgraded enough to tackle the last 3 achievements -- Hero in a Half Shell, Extra Anchovies, and Old School.

Achievement Guide:

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-9PIz8=.jpg The Sword is Mightier  5:gsicon:

KO 100 enemies with Leo.

You'll get this by simply playing as Leonardo. Once you defeat 100 enemies of any type the achievement is yours.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/-8cwyA==.jpg Lean, Green, Fighting Machine  10:gsicon:

Max out Leo's special weapon rank.

You have to complete a chapter to earn 1 Special Weapon stat point. After you've completed the game, replaying Chapter 1 is your best bet. You can also earn 3 quick stat points by upgrading Donatello's "Genius" attribute.

Each Special Weapon requires 3 stat points to be fully upgraded. You can access this in "Workshop".

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-gTG-I=.jpg Wind Walker  10:gsicon:

Shoulder run off 100 enemies with Leo.

Unlock this by upgrading Leonardo's "Shoulder Run" attribute under COMBAT and then using it by running on your opponent's shoulders by holding :rbbut: to sprint and then holding :ybut: in front of them.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-1uKoo=.jpg Do Not Pass Bo  5:gsicon:

KO 100 enemies with Don.

You'll get this by simply playing as Donatello. Once you defeat 100 enemies of any type the achievement is yours.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-nz42E=.jpg Teched Out  10:gsicon:

Max out Don's special weapon rank.

You can access this in "Workshop".

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-vS6tQ=.jpg Strong Kata  10:gsicon:

Hit 25 enemies with Don's special pose attack.

Unlock Donatello's "Strike A Pose" under COMBAT. While in combat just taunt and when he poses start attacking and he'll segue into a combo. Very simple.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-6v26w=.jpg Chuck it Out!  5:gsicon:

KO 100 enemies with Mikey.

You'll get this by simply playing as Michealangelo. Once you defeat 100 enemies of any type the achievement is yours.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-oyEkc=.jpg Maxin' Out!  10:gsicon:

Max out Mikey's special weapon rank.

You can access this in "Workshop".

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-+Q+b4=.jpg I Got Moves  10:gsicon:

Special taunt 100 times with Mikey.

First, unlock the Breakdancin' taunt which is one of his "Special Taunts" under his PARTY DUDE skill tree.

The easiest way to do this is when you get knocked down press :dup: and he'll recover by breakdancing.

I would suggest doing this passively and if you need more by the time you're done with his other achievements just finish up in the Dojo using Free Training.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-sNMFU=.jpg Sai-onara  5:gsicon:

KO 100 enemies with Raph.

You'll get this by simply playing as Rapheal. Once you defeat 100 enemies of any type the achievement is yours.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-5wAS0=.jpg Turtle with Iron Fist  10:gsicon:

Max out Raph's special weapon rank.

You can access this in "Workshop".

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-xRCJg=.jpg Uncle!  10:gsicon:

Tapout 25 enemies with Raph.

Upgrade the "Punishing Counter" under DEFENSE. It's the second upgrade called "Submission".

Once you have the aforementioned upgrade you'll have to build up a TPKO (I recommend that you also upgrade his TPKO so its available threshold is at 5 hits.) Counter an enemy to initiate the move you need by pressing :bbut: as they attack you (identified by the white aura around them). There are two different moves he'll do and each one will result in a different submission. Once he begins the counter animation hold :rtbut: and keep tapping :xbut:. (I suggest this because I could never really get the timing down and this worked every time.)

If he does the back-shoulder slam you'll get the arm bar…watch him crank that shoulder out of socket. If he does the front slam (Rock Bottom) he'll hit 'em with a choke hold that absolutely cannot feel good.

This is easiest to do this in the Dojo using Free Training but you may be able to knock some out while playing with him in the campaign.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-2x8As=.jpg Stickin it to 'em  5:gsicon:

KO 25 enemies with a Special Attack.

These are the moves that can be performed by a 1/4, 1/2, and a full rotation of the :rs: while holding :rtbut:. Upgrade them under "Specials". There are 3 clockwise moves and 3 additional counterclockwise moves. They require the special attack meter bar to be filled respective of their degree of rotation.

Combos will fill your special attack meter bars as well as the energy drinks you find lying around.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-6W5AU=.jpg Done and Done  5:gsicon:

Perform a double counter 25 times.

You need to press :bbut: repeatedly when two enemies are attacking you at the same time. Once again Free Training in the Dojo is the easiest way to knock this out since the campaign combat can get pretty chaotic.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-92HJY=.jpg Mad Skillz  5:gsicon:

Perform a special counter 25 times

You need to press :bbut: when an enemy is attacking you while they have a green aura around them. Guess where you want to do this?…yep, Free Training in the Dojo. Just stand there and keep tapping :bbut:.

You'll know you did this correctly when a small animation occurs and your turtle knocks the enemy out of the air.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-xZQzo=.jpg All For One  5:gsicon:

Perform a team attack 50 times.

Upgrade your favorite turtle's Team Attack attribute then use it by pressing :rtbut:+:abut: next to one of the other 3 turtles.

Note: It requires 1 bar of the special attack meter to be filled.

I'm inclined to think the Team TKPOs count toward this as well. This is performed by pressing :rtbut:+:xbut: next to a fellow turtle while your combo is within the TPKO threshold.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-+Yshw=.jpg Turtle Power  10:gsicon:

Perform a TPKO on 100 enemies.

Press :rtbut:+:xbut: when you've reached your TPKO threshold and you'll perform a TPKO on the nearest enemy you're facing. You can use the :rs: to direct this at a specific enemy.

Note: Remember, each turtle has an attribute you can upgrade lowering the TPKO threshold from 10 down to 8 and again to 5. I recommend upgrading this soon.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-o6WeU=.jpg Shell Shock  10:gsicon:

Perform a Shell Shock 100 times.

Firstly, unlock the "Shell Shock" move under Attacks and Finishers. To use this you have to be within your TPKO threshold OR have 3 special bars. When an enemy is knocked down (you'll see a spinning ring above their head) tap :rtbut:+:bbut: and your turtle will launch upward and come down on them with force, knocking them out.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-vaoXY=.jpg Ninjutsu Power  10:gsicon:

Perform a stealth KO 25 times.

When your enemy is unaware of your presence just walk up behind him and press :xbut:. There are a few areas in the campaign you'll have the opportunity to do this. You can also do them in the Dojo using the Move List and selecting "Stealth KO". (It's the second to last move on the list).

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-n7qMM=.jpg Shell Yeah!  5:gsicon:

Perform a 4 turtle TPKO.

Firstly, you need to unlock "Team TPKO" under the TEAM skill tree. You can use any turtle for this.

You may get this by chance during the campaign. Or you can just get it done in the Dojo using Move List and selecting "Team Turtle Power KO". (It's the third to last move on the list.) You only have to do this once for the achievement to unlock.

Once you're in the dojo select the turtle isolated over there on the right using the D-Pad. Walk him over to the other two turtles and then regain control of your original turtle. You can also reposition the other turtles as much as you need. At this point, combo one of the dummies near the formation of turtles until you're within your TPKO threshold and then hit :rtbut:+:xbut:. It's as easy as that.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-oBK1s=.jpg Splinter Is Proud  40:gsicon:

Perform a 99-hit combo.

You can attempt this naturally but I have no advice for that other than to evade after 3 hits or so, attack a few more times, and then use your TPKO. Rinse and repeat and the enemies really don't stand a chance. The problem is enemies can run out or be too far away to accumulate 99 hits. The highest I got playing in Survival was 82 hits and there were only a few enemies left and they were too far away for me to keep my streak going so my combo ran out. I actually did this in the Dojo before I even played Survival.

Just upgrade "Weapon Mastery 2" under ATTACKS AND FINISHERS and the opponent shouldn't fall over after getting dizzy. Once you're in the Dojo pick Move List and choose any technique to practice with one dummy that doesn't fight back (the very first move on the list is fine). Hit him with :xbut: repeatedly at a slow rate so your turtle doesn't actually do the combo, he just continually strikes the dummy with the first attack over and over. Do this until your combo reaches 99 and the achievement will unlock instantly.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-vh08g=.jpg Epic Combo  10:gsicon:

Perform 12 attack variations in one combo.

I did this in the Dojo. Go to "Team Training" and use your favorite turtle to get as many simple moves out of the way. :rtbut:+:ybut:, :rtbut:+:xbut:, :rtbut:+:rs: (x6 variations), etc.

Most likely you'll get a few different team moves, too, just by initiating a TPKO move near the other turtles. Once you've done around 8 or so different moves just switch to another turtle quickly to keep the combo going and repeat by doing their TPKO and special moves.

As long as the combo doesn't cease you can switch turtles as much as you'd like since their specific moves count as different moves.

I also threw in a :abut:,:xbut: and :abut:,:ybut: move. They're just two different jump attacks.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-2CyRc=.jpg Hero in a Half Shell  40:gsicon:

Complete all challenges.

All you have to do here is finish all the Challenge maps. They're located at the NYC Map under Challenge Mode. The only one not required is the very top option, "Survival".

There are 4 rounds for each level:

-Alley

-Subway

-Sewer

-Warehouse

-Rooftops

-Shredder's Lair

-Kraang Base

I used Donatello due to his ability to gain back 20 health from knocking down 5 enemies in a row with the "Line 'em Up" upgrade under COMBAT. The level 3 move with the Gravity Gauntlet works very well for this. I also suggest unlocking the Unlimited Special Attack. With this you can build a 20 hit combo, roll out of the way, taunt and power yourself up with a 20 second unlimited special attack. Have the Gravity Gauntlets equipped and go to town with the level 3 attack (:rtbut:+:rs: full clockwise rotation).

If you prefer to use a different turtle that's fine. The most important thing is that you are proficient with their fighting style and that they're leveled up most of the way.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-xiMYQ=.jpg Extra Anchovies  40:gsicon:

Complete round 20 in Survival Mode.

This is by far the hardest achievement in the game.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2617/5-+jwKI=.jpg Old School  40:gsicon:

Complete the Arcade Mode.

This one's not too tough but will nearly require your turtles to be fully leveled up. You want to take full advantage of TPKOs and the dodge ability. On heavier enemies, like the red ninjas, roll over them once your TPKO is built up and immediately unleash your TPKO while directing your turtle back toward them. This will cause you to perform a stealth KO which will knock them out in one hit.

The only two boss fights that gave me a hard time was the giant three-headed mouser and Super Shredder. For the giant mouser battle you want to take out his legs, tail, and chest plate. Once you do this his head(s) will hit the ground and you can attack it until it erupts. Repeat this process for all 3 heads and he's done. Avoid his stomping, head swings, and lasers. Also, those little mousers prove to be quite pesky while you're trying to defeat this bastard. I jumped around a lot and used my special attack when I could. If you can manage to build a quick TPKO use it on one of his weak points to knock it out. His chest plate is definitely the hardest one to take out.

The next big fight is Shredder. You basically want to just avoid him while building your TPKO up on the foot soldiers in the area. Once you have a TPKO available hit Shredder with it. It takes a little while but be patient, stick to this method, and he'll eventually start getting tired and you can just combo the hell out of him.

The last fight is Super Shredder. Once you're in the area you'll know it because you'll be fighting a bunch of the white ninjas and the female ninja. Ignore her because once you finish off the white ninjas she goes away and Super Shredder joins the fight. With him, you'll want to use a similar method as the first time by building up your TPKO on the foot soldiers. When he brings down the big rocks just run to the very top right corner. In my experience the rocks are unable to hit you there. You want to run near him so he comes down from his hover. He'll do this by either a spinning kick or a focused projectile kick. Either way as long as you run by him and just run in a circle he'll miss you. Once he comes down hit him and run. I'm not sure at what point you're able to combo him without him interrupting it with a devastating attack but I switched to Michelangelo since he's so fast and was eventually able to just unleash a flurry of nun-chuck combos on him and TPKO him when it became available. Once I was at this point I served him a relentless, uninterrupted combo until he was KO'd. It was probably a solid minute of pressing :xbut: as fast as I could and giving him the TPKO business when it was ready. Once you defeat him a cutscene occurs and the achievement pops after that at the "Level Complete" screen.

To get "Splinter is Proud", an easier way is to go into move list in the Dojo menu, start Team TPKO, and do exactly as you said by only using X slow enough to not start up the combo, but here you can swap between three enemies. All I did was break one enemy's guard then went to the other one, repeat until it popped.

Also, I tried doing what you said about "Shell Yeah!", but it just does the standard 2 turtle TPKO, any help?
