Bahroo3
This is currently a work in progress. And yes I know you could just "set it to easy" but real Horsemen do it on Nightmare. Also early parts of the guide assume this is your first trip so some of the tips can be disregarded with higher leveled gear. Here is a in-depth guide on everything about the Crucible and what you will be fighting. How do I unlock The Crucible? First you will need the code that comes with the game. If you do not have one then you will have to purchase one off of the marketplace. When can I go to The Crucible? You will have access to it once you have finished the first area of the game. Waves 1-25 [Defeat the Final boss of the Forge Worlds] Waves 26-50 [Defeat the Final boss of the Land of the Dead] Waves 51-75 [Defeat the final boss of the Black Stone] Waves 76-100 [Achieve level 25] What are the rewards for finishing The Crucible? Every 5 waves you will get the option to get some randomized loot and Gilt or to risk it and continue. Should you fail, you will not get any reward. There are also rewards for beating Waves 25, 50, 75, 100. How to Prepare Now if you are going to do all 100 waves in a single sitting you are going to need a good weapon to start with. To start with you are going to to try and making a weapon with the following: Heal stealing Crit Chance Crit Damage Frost damage Othe(I used health on crit since I couldn't find any Wrath Steal) As your Secondary you will want "Hammer of the Deposed King". Since Harvest procs your Primary/Secondary weapons you will end up freezing pretty much everything. Once you have your weapon go ahead and head over to Vulgrim for a respec. You are going to be putting all of the points into Harbinger. 3/3 Teleport Slash 1/3 Immolation 1/3 Undeding Fury You are mostly just going to be using with ability as a way to get an easy heal and for wrath regen so don't put too many points into it. 3/3 Harvest 3/3 Reaping 3/3 Trauma 3/3 Red Harvest This will be one of your main abilities used since Health Steal is based on the damage you deal you will want to get your damage as high as you can. Also in the later waves having 120+% extra damage can make things go a lot smoother/ 3/3 Unstoppable 3/3 Inevitability 3/3 Killing Blow 3/3 Empowerment 3/3 Call of the Grave This should always be used whenever you have extra wrath sitting around because as with Harvest, increasing damage output to increase healing can help a lot in later waves. You have extra points than feel free to put them wherever. Waves 1 - 25(Level 17+) Wave 1 Construct Warrior x 3 Basic enemy, just smash them and dodge their attacks. Wave 2 Construct Warrior x 5 Same as Wave 1 but with two extra. Wave 3 Construct Warrior x 2 Construct Adjunct x 4 Kill the Warriors first then the Adjuncts. They can throw Corruption at you so be careful. Wave 4 Construct Adjunct x 2 Construct Champion x 1 Kill the Adjuncts first then the Champion. Champion has two main attacks to watch out for. The first is his most deadly which is to rev up his fist and slam it into you dealing a massive amount of damage. A simple back-roll will dodge this. The seconds is to rev his first and slide it across the ground and run at you. If he hits you will be launched into the air and take medium damage. Do a sideways roll just before he reaches you to dodge this. Wave 5 Construct Champion x 2 Same last wave, just focus on not getting pinned between them and focus attacks on a single one. Wave 6 Stingers x 20 Simple enemy, just shoot them with your gun and they will die. Wave 7 Prowler x 4 Quick and agile enemy but with low health. Main attack is to charge forward. Wave 8 Prowler x 8 Same as before but be careful not to get surrounded by them. Wave 9 Stalker x 1 Stinger x 10 Don't even both with singles as they will die from you swinging at the Stalker. As for the Stalker himself he can deal a massive amount of damage to you can keep you staggered while he does it. He has two main attacks to watch out for. The first is he run at you at full speed and tried to jump on you. This is will hurt a lot if this hits you and you will be staggered. This can be avoided with a sideways roll. The second is when he is on his hind legs and tries to swipe at you. If one of these hits connects then chances are the 3-4 swipes that come after it will also hit you. The best way to dodge is to backwards roll and run away till he stop or to try and roll behind him however this can backfire and have you rolling into his attack. Wave 10 Stalker x 2 Prowler x 4 Main part of this wave(and every wave containing two or more stalkers) is to not get pinned between them. If you do then you will most likely die or be severely hurt. As for the Prowlers, they will spawn the moment one of the Stalkers dies. Wave 11 Tainted Construct Adjunct x 5 Same as the first few waves only now they are significantly more powerful. Wave 12 Construct Sentinel x 1 Tainted Construct Warrior x 3 As soon as you can target the Sentinel and take him out with your pistol. After that deal with the warriors the same way you did the first time. As with the Adjuncts before these now deal significantly more damage. Wave 13 Tainted Construct Warrior x 5 Tainted Construct Champion x 1 Focus on taking out the warriors one by one and make sure you can always see the Champion. If he staggers you in the middle of the group this can end quickly. Wave 14 Construct Champion x 2 Construct Sentinel x 1 Shoot the Sentinel at the very start and it is just like Wave 5. Wave 15 Tainted Construct x 4 Gharn x 1 More or less the exact same as Wave 13 with the only difference being that Gharn can explode himself dealing damage to you. The graphic is much larger than the actual explosion radius so a quick backwards roll will dodge it every time. Wave 16 Stinger x 35 Same as Wave 5. Just shoot with pistol and enjoy an easy round. Wave 17 Savage Prowler x 2 Tainted Construct Adjunct x 4 Deal with the Prowlers first then kill the Adjuncts. Note that "Savage" is the same as Tainted in that they will deal more damage and take more damage. Wave 18 Stinger x 5 Savage Stalker x 1 Quickly dispatch the stingers with your pistol and pay careful attention to not get mauled by the Stalker as his damage is now pretty significant for level 18. Wave 19 Tainted Construct Champion x 1 Savage Stalker x 1 Focus on the Champion first since he has significantly less health and again be on the watch for the Stalker trying to claw at you or the Champion revving his fist. Wave 20 Savage Stalker x 2 Tainted Construct Champion x 1 Once one of the stalker falls below half health the Champion will spawn and you should kill him first. The main goal is to just not get pinned as they can deal a lot of damage quickly and at level 18 can more than likely OHKO before you can even get back up to heal. Wave 21 Tainted Construct Champion x 3 Unlike the other starter waves, this one tries to stomp you out right from the start. If you are level 18 then getting 2-3 Drills slammed into your body will instantly kill you so play it safe take them down safely with Teleport Slash and your pistol. Wave 22 Corrupted Custodian x 1 The only attack you need to watch out for is his whirlwind which he will start when he turns his body clockwise. When you see this quickly dodge backwards and run away and you should be safe. His clap and smash attack are fairly predictable and easy to see and can be dodge with a sideways roll. It is also immune to the pistol's attacks. Wave 23 Gorewood x 1 The main thing to watch out for is the root attack he sends at you. The easiest way to dodge it is to wait till just before it hits you and then quickly dodge left and then right. I had trouble dodging his melee attack for some his hitbox it really awkward and you end up rolling into him so besy bet is to just wait until he lunges and then lay into him. He is also immune to the pistol. Wave 24 Gharn x 1 Ghorn x 1 Kill Gharn first since he has less health and just treat this like fighting two Champions. They both can explode at random so be ready to dodge and Ghorn's is very strong and deal fire damage afterwards. One thing to watch out for is when Ghorn starts pounding the ground you will need to just run around the map in a circle and avoid lava until he stops. Wave 25 Tainted Champion x 2 Gorewood x 1 This fight can go from easy to insane in just a few seconds. the main thing is you CANNOT get hit by Gore's root grab while near the Champions(or at all for that matter) or you will find yourself in a world of hurt. It is recommended to use Reaper form here and take out or at least weaken both Champions. -Wave 25 Reward- Heartstone Talisman +100 Health Edited August 17, 2012 by Bahroo3
Bahroo3
Waves 26 - 50(Level 21+) Wave 26 Skeleton x 3 Simple and mindless. You can use this wave to get health and wrath back by using Teleport Slash + pistol. Wave 27 Skeletal Archer x 5 These guys are pretty harmless without anything to back them up. Still their charged shot can do pretty decent damage so keep your camera on them and dodge when their bow turns red. Wave 28 Skeletal Archer x 2 Skeletal Warrior x 4 Pick off the two archers first then deal with the warriors. Warriors are not much stronger than regular skeletons but do have quiet a bit more health. Wave 29 Skeletal Warrior x 5 Skeletal Champion x 2 Take out of the warriors first then kill the Champion. Champions can swing fairly fast for having a mace so watch out for that and the mace can stagger which can lead to problems when fighting multiple Champions. The second Champion will spawn when the first one dies. Wave 30 Skeletal Champion x 3 Main thing to watch out for here is getting stagger locked by all three of them. Teleport Slash can deal a fair amount of damage if they are all grouped up and will make keeping your health up simple. Wave 31 Nightmare Prowler x 5 While they might have low health these guys are no joke. Getting hit AT ALL by any of their attacks will put you in a block of ice and render you helpless while they maul at your body. Not getting hit at all is the first priority and keeping your health up. Wave 32 Nightmare Stalker x 2 Nightmare Prowler x 4 The Stalkers are not much harder than the Savage version but can now put a flame debuff on you after melee. The main problem is the Prowlers that will spawn after either of the two Stalkers dies. The best way to go about this is to kill the Stalkers as evenly as possible and take them out at the same time. Wave 33 Skeletal Champion x 1 Nightmare Prowler x 4 Ignore the Champion as he does not do too much and just focus on not getting hit by the Prowlers as much as possible. Wave 34 Nightmare Stalker x 1 Skeletal Champion x 2 Nothing too hard here. Kill the Champions first and keep health up in case of a stagger lock. Wave 35 Undead Guardian x 2 Pretty easy for a Fifth wave set. Their attacks are easily dodge by going left or right and you can use Teleport Slash to get behind them if they wall up with theirs shields. Wave 36 Wraith x 5 This can be pretty annoying since they are constantly floating away from you if they are not attack you. Best way to deal with them to to use Harvest to stagger them and then lay into them with X,X,Y,Y,Y combo for massive damage. You can also use Teleport Slash to close the distance. Wave 37 Wraith x 3 Lich x 1 Do the same thing you did with the last wave and just ignore the Lich as all he does is spawn "The Host" multiple times which you can just Harvest for extra damage to kill the Wraiths with. Wave 38 Scarab x 20 Same as Stingers, just shoot with pistol and use this wave to get Health/Wave topped off. Wave 39 Lich x 3 Another easy wave. Just spam Harvest for extra damage and kill them one by one. They only have one attack and it's weak and easy to dodge. Wave 40 Scarab Hulk x 2 Scarab x 8 Harvest the Scarabs for extra damage start going at the Hulks. Their main attack is to just jump on top of you so as long you are fast to dodge these guys are pretty simple. One thing to watch out for is when they block your attack with their shell you will get staggered and the other Hulk might jump on you during this time. Their melee is also easy to dodge as it is just a basic 2-hit combo in front of them. Note:No matter how small the jump is they always create a shockwave from it. Wave 41 Skeletal Champion x 4 Same as wave 30 but with one extra. Use Harvest to keep them staggered. Wave 42 Wraith x 3 Abomination x 1 Focus on killing the Abomination first and watch out for his throw up attack as it can deal a massive amount of damage if hit with it in full even in high level gear. His aura only hits for 15~ so that can be ignored are you Heal Steal effect will counter that. Once he is dead just kill the Wraiths the same as you did before. Wave 43 Abomination x 3 Same as killing one. Just go all out and keep your camera on the other two to dodge their throw up attack. Wave 44 Scarab Hulk x 2 Same as last time only now they are slightly higher level. Deal with them the same as last time. Wave 45 Bone Giant x 1 This guy is a joke by himself. Just stay behind him and go crazy. Wave 46 Undead Guardian x 1 Skeletal Champion x 2 Simple fight. Just kill the Champions first and use Harvest whenever two or more are next to each other for extra damage. Wave 47 Tormentor x 1 Same as the Bone Giant. He is a joke by himself and all of his attacks are easily dodged by rolling to the right. Wave 48 Bone Giant x 1 Skeletal Champion x 2 Another simple fight. Just stay behind or away from the Giant while you kill the Champions. Wave 49 Undead Guardian x 1 Tormentor x 1 For being the last five of the set these are very easy. Killing the Tormentor first then the Guardian. Wave 50 Tormentor x 1 Bone Giant x 1 Yet another joke of a fight. Kill the Tormentor first then the Giant. -Wave 50 reward- Abyssal Boots Level:20 Defense:102 Critical Chance:7% Strength:31 Arcane:31 (Stats are higher when used in a full set) Waves 51 - 75(Level 25+) Wave 51 Corrupted Angel x 3 Fairly simple enemies. Use Harvest to stagger and ground them and then go crazy on them. Wave 52 Ayfid x 2 Fairly simple again. Just make sure to dodge when they are charge up as this can deal some hefty damage and use Harvest to stagger as needed. Wave 53 Ayfid x 1 Corrupted Angel x 3 Kill the Ayfid first and use Harvest when needed. Wave 54 Corrupted Champion x 1 Corrupted Angel x 4 Kill the small angels first and keep on eye on the Champion for his charge attack (He raises his sword to the sky and charges at you). Champions will also charge up with energy and slowly rise up and then smash down for massive damage. Wave 55 Corrupted Champion x 3 Fairly simple just focus on dodging their abilities and be careful not to get staggered as they can easily take you down to 1/4 health in a short amount of time. Wave 56 Corrupted Construct Warrior x 8 Easy fight and if you want you can gather them all up and Harvest them all at the same for for a 160% damage boost. Wave 57 Corrupted Construct Adjunct x 3 Sycophant x 2 Sycophants have low health and melee damage however their electric beam they make on their death can deal massive damage so watch out for it. The Adjuncts spawn when a Sycophant dies. Wave 58 Corrupted Angel x 4 Corrupted Champion x 2 Same as before just watch out for the Champion's attacks and keep your health topped off and kill the Angels first. Wave 59 Corrupted Angel x 10 While weak they still are very strong in numbers so be very careful and watch your health. Only 6 spawn at the start and the other 4 spawn in once any of them die leaving you with 9 at a time. Wave 60 Sycophant x 3 Simple fight, just avoid the beam they cause on death and you will take very little damage. Wave 61 Undead Scarab x 20 Same as before, shoot with pistol. Wave 62 Undead Prowler x 5 Undead Scarab x 8 Just spam Harvest and use the last few enemies to regain wrath and this wave will be over quick. Wave 63 Undead Scarab Hulk x 1 Undead Prowler x 1 Kill the Prowlers first then deal with the Hulk the same as you did before. Wave 64 Skeletal Stalker x 3 Even thought they are still the same Stalkers these guys are no joke and can kill you in seconds. Take extra caution when dealing with them. Wave 65 Undead Scarab Hulk x 2 Same as before only now they do slightly more damage and have more health. Wave 66 Legion Soldier x 3 These guys can pack a punch so be careful when taking them on and keep your health topped off. Wave 67 Legion Soldier x 1 Legion Champion x 1 First take out the soldier. Now the Champion hits very hard and is annoying to try and dodge since he just flails his whip around. The best way to take him on is to go full offense and make him block then use Harvest to break it and repeat. Wave 68 Legion Soldier x 5 Same as before just be careful to not get surrounded by them and keep health topped off. Wave 69 Legion Soldier x 2 Maelstrom x 1 Maelstroms are by far the most annoying enemy in the game. Focus on them first and do not let them put up the Fire Orb of Death and Bullshit as it will stagger you to no end and fuck you and the horse you ride on. Wave 70 Legion Soldier x 2 Legion Champion x 1 Maelstrom x 1 Prepare to kite the shit of the Champion because the Maelstrom will just spam his Fireballs until you kill him and they do a fuckton of damage and the Champion will be trying to staggering you. This is one of the hardest waves in the Crucible so be prepared to use a health potion if needed. Use Harvest and Redemption as much as possible. Bahroo3
Wave 71 Ice Skeleton x 16 Nothing special here and after the last wave this is a much needed break. They spawn in sets of 8 and the second set will spawn after the first set dies completely. Wave 72 Nightmare Prowler x 5 Ice Skeleton x 5 Ignore the Skeletons and just focus on not getting hit by the Prowlers. These guys now do a ton of damage and can kill you in a single freeze if you are already low. Wave 73 Maelstrom x 1 Nightmare Prowler x 3 ***It is highly advised to have Reaper form for this wave*** An enemy that can freeze you in place combined with an enemy that can fuck you over in 2 seconds if you are standing still. Welcome to the Hardest wave in the Crucible. Focus on the Prowlers and NEVER get hit. If you get hit be prepared to spam healing potion and abilities as you should be lucky you even lived. Wave 74 Maelstrom x 1 Nightmare Stalker x 2 This wave is not as bad as the last one but still very demanding. The Stalkers can now effectively 2-3 shot you so your focus should just be on staying alive and take shots at the Maelstrom whenever possible. Once he dies this will be much easier. Wave 75 The Deposed King x 1 This guy can be very easy or very hard depending on how good you are at reading patterns. He has a lot of health and can deal massive damage and freeze you to boot. Shield Block: Blocks all attacks and will stagger you if had tried to melee. This is always followed up by Shield Bash and you have to dodge to the left the very moment you gain control or you will be hit. This ability is triggered at random and cannot be predicted and can even happen if you are hitting him in the back. Shield Bash: Slams his shield into the ground and rushes forward then tries to bash you with it after a short distance. Can be dodged by rolling to the left or right. Double Smash: Does two smash attack that deal high damage and will stagger you to the ground. If you get hit by the first you will more than likely get hit by the second. Can be dodged by rolling to the left or right. Heavy Smash: Same as Double Smash but deals 60% more damage and freezes you with a massive damage over time effect. If he misses with this attack he will be stuck for 4-5 seconds leaving you to deal some major damage to him. Whirlwind: Once he is below 50% health he will start adding this to his rotation of attacks. He does it completely at random but he will signal it by banging his chest and raising his weapon to the sky. The moment you see this you will need to run to the other side of the arena and dodge roll when he gets close or you will take a massive amount of damage. The best way to safely take this guy out is to just only attack when he is stuck in the ground or you risk getting killed. Once he falls below half health keep him on one side of arena and be ready for his Whirlwind attack. If he in the middle it can be difficult to dodge. All in all he is not 'hard' just demands not failing a dodge. -Wave 75 Reward- Barbed Defilers Level:22 Damage 187-215 Special: Defile - Weakens enemies Side effect - Melee damage is increased based on Arcane stat. Waves 76 - 100(Level 31+) Wave 76 Skeletal Warrior x 3 Odd to see a wave this easy but whatever. Wave 77 Skeletal Prowler x 5 Skeletal Warrior x 5 Another freebie. Harvest spam and such. Wave 78 Skeletal Champion x 8 Starting to pick up now. Use Harvest to stagger and avoid getting pinned. Only 5 are active at the start. The last 3 spawn when one dies to take it's place. Wave 79 Skeletal Champion x 5 Skeletal Prowler x 6 Another easy fight just Harvest as needed. Only 3 Champions and 4 Prowlers are active at the start. The rest will spawn in as it dies. Wave 80 Skeletal Archer x 5 Skeletal Stalker x 3 Focus on killing the Archers first and be very careful of the Stalkers as they are level 31 now and deal a lot of damage. Wave 81 Wraith x 4 Same as before, use Harvest to stagger. Wave 82 Wraith x 4 Abomination x 1 Same as before. Kill the Abomination first and watch out for throw up. Wave 83 Sycophant x 1 Skeletal Champion x 3 Ignore the Sycophant since he does very little damage and kill the Champions and watch out for the beam the Sycophant makes on death. Wave 84 Sycophant x 2 Abomination x 1 Same as before, ignore the Sycophants and watch out for beams/throw up. Wave 85 Tormentor x 3 Easy fight, just watch out for the throw up and just take them down one by one. Wave 86 Corrupted Angel x 3 Corrupted Champion x 1 Same as before just keep quick with dodging as these guys can now do a lot of damage and the Champion can easily take out 2/3 of your health. Wave 87 Fleshburster x 5 You don't even have to attack. Just walk the outer circle of the arena and dodge when the start to blow up. Keep in mind that if you do get hit you will be taking a massive amount of damage and the blast radius is fairly large. Wave 88 Corrupted Champion x 2 Same as before but I can't stress enough how important it is to dodge if you are on Apocalyptic. If they both charge you at the same time and hit it will be game over right there. Wave 89 Fleshburster x 10 Same as Wave 87. Bahroo3
Wave 90 Aykrid x 3 Sane as before just be careful of their charged claws and use Harvest to stagger. Wave 91 Corrupted Angel x 8 Same as before, keep health topped off. Wave 92 Maelstrom x 2 Fairly simple when it's just them. Keep one staggered as much as possible (Deathgrip if needed) and dodge the other's fireballs while you slowly kill him. These fireballs now do a ton of damage and I really should not have to say this but "fire is bad, don't stand in it" Wave 93 Legion Soldier x 3 Legion Champion x 1 Same as before(bet that is getting old huh?) just stagger with Harvest and kill the Soldiers first. Wave 94 Maelstrom x 1 Corrupted Champion x 1 Fairly simple, just keep the Maelstrom staggered and keep a watch on the Champion's charge attack. Wave 95 Maelstrom x 1 Legion Champion x 1 Not as bad as last time since you won't have to also dodge warriors but still be very careful as one combined attack from the Champion and the Maelstrom can still kill you so make sure he is always staggered. Wave 96 Corrupted Custodian x1 Same as before but now he is level 31 rather than 18. Wave 97 Gorewood x 1 He has a significant damage boost from last time but since he is by himself you won't have any trouble dodging his attacks. Wave 98 Bone Giant x 2 Nothing new here, stay behind them and go crazy with melee and abilities. Wave 99 Suffering x 1 Wow, an enemy that requires thought.... Anyways, his melee combo will always kill you if you don't dodge so best to play it safe with this guy and stay far away and attack him after his lunge and get a few hits in. Don't get too greedy though since he likes to turn do a 180 and go right into a melee combo and your climb ends right there. Wave 100 Avatar of Chaos Alright first off pretty much all of his attacks and combos can one shot you or bring you to the brink of death so play it safe and wait for an opening. Corruption Sweep: Swings his axe randomly around him in the general direction of you and causes corruption to come up from in front of his attacks (This has a huge range on it). Best way to dodge is to just stay behind him but not so close that his ax can hit you. Aerial Lunge: he will leep up into the sky and comes down on wherever you were standing. Everything in front of him will be covered by corruption. He will be vulnerable for a moment after this attack so use this time to deal some damage. Throw Ax: After the first sequence he will start using this ability and just like it says he throws his axe in front of him. Stay to his side and this will never hit you. Summon Corruption Brambles: After the first sequence he will add this attack. He will turn his his ax upside down and strike the ground. This will deal an AoE around him and summon brambles that go out in all directions. The is not that hard to dodge just simply back up when he start doing it and use Teleport Slash to avoid the Brambles. Rushing Sweep: After the second sequence he will add this attack. He will start to run straight at you and try to melee you. this is easily dodged by going left or right. Impale: After the second sequence he will add this attack. He will send of one his corruption tentacles into the ground and will then come up and impale you. THIS MUST BE DODGED ON HIGHER DIFFICULTIES. I had full health and I was down a mere sliver of health after this attack so if you are not topped off this will kill you. Phase 1: Avoid his sweeping attack and just wait for him to lunge before doing any damage as to not risk a death. Phase 2(80% health): Stay to his side to avoid the ax toss and and use Teleport Slash to dodge brambles. Wait for after brambles or lunge to hurt him Phase 3(50% Health) Same as two but watch out for his rushing sweep and you must dodge Impale at all costs or you will die. -Wave 100 Rewards- Abyssal Spaulders Level:20 Defense: 170 Critical Chance: 7% Strength: 52 Arcane: 52 (Has increased effects when used in a set) Assassin Talisman Level: 26 Ranged Damage Mod:9% Aftermath Level:30 Damage(Slow) 713-821 Strength: 106 Wrath per hit: 767<-holy fuck Final Wave Unlocked You will unlock Wave 101 if you did all 100 in a single sitting. Wicked K Fight Now if you are fighting him on harder difficulties be prepared to die a lot as his melee hits for about 1300 a swing and can deal even more damage with his abilities. Throw Hat: If you are at medium range he will throw his hat at you dealing high damage. Best way to dodge is to dodge roll backwards since his hat can only go so far. Throw Money: If you are not in his melee range he will keep using this and it looks like a small red orb flying at you. It goes into a straight line so just dodge left or right. Top hat Teleport: jumps inside his hat and teleports right next to you. Cane Melee: Does three stabs with his cane that can deal massive damage and should be avoided at all costs. Disregard Damage: For whatever reason Wicked K will just ignore damage (he sometimes blocks normally but this is not the same) and happens completely at random Top hat Smash: Creates a top hat and lands in front of him in a small circle and will deal massive damage to you if it hits you. To be honest the fight itself is very boring since he can just ignore damage and kill you in 1-2 hits so I just shot him to death and used Teleport Slash and Harvest over and over again until he died since those attacks can't be blocked. Another easy way to kill him is to use Reaper form as he can't block Reaper attacks and doesn't have much health. lifetimegamer
Excellent guide thanks! The concept of doing all 101 waves without dying sounds pretty daunting lol. How long roughly does it take to complete all 101 waves? If each attempt takes a long time I may not have the patience for this heh.
Bahroo3
It all depends on what difficulty you do it on. You are looking somewhere around 50-60 minutes on Easy and nearly double that if doing it on Apocalyptic
lifetimegamer
It all depends on what difficulty you do it on. You are looking somewhere around 50-60 minutes on Easy and nearly double that if doing it on Apocalyptic Wow, thanks for the heads up! Will probably do what I do with a lot of games and leave akward stuff like this till last and attempt it every now and then.
cureton
Great Guide. When we put The Crucible together, we knew people were going to go wild with different builds and strategies. Really like what you've done! Side note: Aftermath also gives Health and Reaper Energy on hit (unlisted). It is literally the best weapon in the game. - Ben C (Lead Combat Designer)
Diamondz
Aftermath just seems lackluster in comparison to the life steal abilities of Achidna's Fangs. Fangs coupled with a wrath steal crit primary and you would need to fall asleep in order to die.
Bahroo3
Regenerating a full Reaper bar sounds fun but that would kill any kind of challenge since Reaper form attacks can't be blocked. *Reaper forms fades* *Swings once and goes back into Reaper form*

Diamondz
Couple questions How do you get a full reaper bar in 1 hit? How are you getting health regen on harvest without the use of Achidna's Fangs? Why would you use elemental damage and health on crit instead of wrath steal, health steal or strength? Other than that great guide.

Other than that great guide. 1. Aftermath would regen 756 Reaper energy on swing it seems and that would be way to much. 2. Hammer of the Deposed King is way better than Achindna's Fangs. and I use Heal steal on my Primary if you read it. 3. I didn't have any Wrath steal weapons to feed it and frost makes for a good debuff
Diamondz
Aftermath seems to give somewhere around 8-10 reaper energy per hit, it gives less than Harvest at 12 per hit. What does the Hammer of the Deposed King do? I only have the Scepter. Achidna's Fangs are not good weapons damage wise but the passive gives health steal to your primary, skills and itself. Didn't see the health steal at the top of the list I apologize. I have a few extra wrath steal weapons if you need one, wrath steal is way to good not to have. MetalReaper00
I don't think it matters what difficulty you play the game on. The crucible has its own difficulty leveling.

Because I have beaten the Crucible on all 4 difficulties. I also have eyes and can see Wicked K hits for 650~ on easy and 1240~ on Apocalyptic.
