Robbo1991
Liked assasins creed 1 but once you'd basically done one town your'd done it all, the same thing over and over -viewpoint, do mini missions then kill the guy. Assassins creed 2 was much better plus less collectibles to get and the story wasnt too bad. Assassins creed brotherhood for me was the better one, it felt more polished and overall gameplay was great. Revelations is ok but could have been better especially after brotherhood should have been on par if not better.
SilverSluggerMZ
The second one is awesome. However, I really enjoyed the introduction of multiplayer in Brotherhood. I found the multiplayer to be a blast.
MysticEn3my
I felt that being Altair Was the best because you belong to the creed since forever and the missions were actually like being an assassin as you find out information and kill a target. BladeinTheCrowd
Have to go for AC II, Brotherhood and Revelations brought in new ideas but lacked in the storyline. AC I, although a good storyline was quite repetitive.
UK Shadowruner
I think II is fantastic, and even though Brotherhood introduced some restricting elements, it still vastly improved most mechanics and gameplay elements and made the game way more fun
ImaginaryRuins
In terms of story I like AC1 and 2, but in terms of gameplay I like Brotherhood. It was the first game to introduce map section liberation / conquering missions and I love them.
PiixL
Easily ACII. It's actually my favourite game of all time.
CyberPunch83
Out of the four options presented, hands-down it has to go Assassin's Creed II. It's the most complete game in the list, didn't need tacked-on multiplayer to sell copies and keep people interested, and stands on its own as one of the best entries in the series to date. We've had over ten games since then and none of them have captured the look and feel of the franchise or the time period quite like ACII.
