Introduction:

The "Lost Archive" DLC for Assassin's Creed: Revelations introduces 7 new first-person puzzle sequences as seen in the main-game. You'll play as Subject 16 and learn some facts about his life as assassin and as Abstergo's testing subject.

Step 1: First Playthrough

There are 7 new memory sequences. You'll get 5 story related achievements on your way through the levels. You should also go for the "Save Yourself" achievement, which is very easy to get. You may even get it by normally playing, as there are many possibilities to fall down really far.

Be on the lookout for the decipher fragments in every memory. It's possible to collect all 20 fragments on our first playthrough.

Step 2: Completion

Search for the remaining decipher fragments if you haven't found all of them before. You can select every memory through your DNA-menu. Go to memory 5 when you've collected all fragments for "Breaking to Loop". The last 2 achievements will probably be "Impress Warren Vidic" and "Cross Styx without Dying", as you will probably fall down some times on your first playthrough. Just memorise the levels and be cautious.

Take the induction leap of faith

Story related. You'll find this one in memory 2. Jump down at the end of the hall with many Assassin-symbols.

Reach the Animus memo

Story related. You'll find this one in memory 3. The memo lies directly on your way. It looks like an orange letter.

Enter the Animus simulation

Story related. You'll find this one in memory 4. Jump down the hole in the middle of Vidics laboratory.

Finish memory five

Story related.

Find all decipher fragments

You'll have to find all 20 fragments to escape the loop. There are fragments in all 7 memories except memory 5.

Mostly your way through the animus is very linear and you'll probably find all fragments on your first way through the 7 memories. Always pay attention to the shimmering noise that indicates a fragment or memo near you.

Land on a block after falling more than 25 meters

Take your blocks and build your way up high. Then fall down and place a block under yourself after falling some way. You'll find many high rooms or deep pits to do this.

Complete the Animus testing sequence without failing

Play memory 4 without failing once. Memorise the level and the patterns of the lasers and particle fields. It will propably take you 5-10 tries, but overall it's not too hard to achieve.

Maybe this video guide may provide further help (by GameMasterCorey):

Make it across the river Styx without failing

You'll find the river Styx in memory 7. It's the part where you have to jump from cubical-shaped particle field to cubical-shaped particle field with your jump block, right after the first part with the lasers. There is also a decipher fragment in this part (On the right side after the first jump). Just get through here without falling down (failing) once.

Secret Achievements:

Experience the loop

Story related. You'll restart the "Lost Archive" after memory 7 and get this achievement.

Break the loop, escape the cycle

After experiencing the loop you'll need to find all 20 fragments. Then you'll be able to exit the loop at the end of memory 5. You don't have to replay all memories to memory 5 if you had all fragments before.

For 'Cross Styx without dying', you need to play memory 7. After the first section with all the lasers, you'll come to a dock with a boat next to it. You need to do the next section without failing once - the achievement should unlock once you reach the other side of the 'river'.

Thank you. =)

I've added a roadmap now. :)

So you confirm it's all single player with no missable or glitched achievement?
Yes, they're all single player and no glitched or missable achievements. Everything works just fine.

I would have taken more Ezio/Altair play though!
I'm totally on your side. Well, I did like the first person puzzle sequences about Desmond in the main game, but overall this DLC is just to short for 800 MSP.

Hey I made a video guide on how to do Impress Warren Vidic.

I was the first person on TA to get this done so it was irritating not knowing if I was doing the right thing or not .__. but sure enough, beat Memory 4 without failing.

Missing a fragment in sequence 2. I checked all over the place. Anyone think off the top of their head where they all are in that one or can list where they all are? Thanks a bunch for this guide btw.

When you walk into the room at the end with the leap look straight up and you'll see it on a ledge at the top of the ceiling. I just used the triangle block over and over to walk right to it.

I'm only missing one in Memory Six. Looked everywhere for it. I think the buzzing of the platforms that take away your blocks are throwing me off.

Edit: NM. Found at the very beginning of the memory after crossing the first section. Drop down to go activate the switch, but instead of going straight look behind the wall on your right.

I've added a video guide to the decipher fragments now.

Credits for that goes to PopThatCheev. =)

Sorry for maybe a stupid question, but WHERE does this DLC start? I don't see any icons on the map or anything new on the island.
It start's in the main menu of the game, where you select singleplayer, multiplayer and now also Lost Archive. ;) Edited by ShadowStefan

Something I would like to add is that you can skip memories after you loop the first time. using the DNA sequence you can jump to the memory you are missing fragments in or, if you have them all, go to sequence 5 to finish the DLC. You don't have to keep looping in sequential order once you finish sequence 7

Thanks a lot for including me in this guide, It really means a lot from all the feedback having only started doing this a few months ago. I hope this guide continues to help people with the achievement, and thanks once again.

(the guys from popthatcheev)

No problem. I'd rather say thank you to you. ;) Your video-guide to the decipher fragments is very well-done.

I thought of making one myself, but my recording-possibilities aren't so good.

Save yourself - 10 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png

Land on a block after falling more than 25 meters

there are many places to get this, but i got this on the 1st memory. after you get the ability to create the blocks, just fall off the platform and wait a but and create one. then fall off and die and you are back on the platform.

this was my first achievment in this dlc.
