banej
I'm not a big fan of horror/survival games (But I'm a chievo hunter). So far I've only tried 2 similar games - Bioshock and Jericho. How does this game compared to the two? Is it as horror/eerie (especially compared with Bioshock)?
Sgt Scyther
The only thing scary about this game is how horrid the combat system is.
kevb
Agreed the game plays like crap and the puzzles are infuriating (or just really dumb) but it is a stupidly easy 1000.
amkage
Right... the game is very easy and not so scary... maybe one or two time you'll be nervous, but nothing to worry.
Ali_P_84
It's more of a jumpy game if you don't spot tripwires.
Samurai Kadaj
I wouldn't compare it to Bioshock; I'd say it's much more like Dead Space in the terms of suspense, although Dead Space is the way better game of the two, hands down.
sgtmcfee101
It makes you jump like Bioshock can in places... but gorey of course, unlike Bioshock. Completely agree with Ali_P_84 on the tripwire comment... my husband walked into the room as I sprinted over a tripwire and we both jumped a mile. Guess I had the volume up a little too high... It can definitely catch you off-guard at times. I haven't played Dead Space but I wouldn't hesitate to give this one a try, it was definitely worth the time. Michael Fautley
As menationed before the tripwires can catch you off gaurd if you are not paying attention properly. There has been many times that I run into a room and the tripwire gets me and I jump a mile. About your question, I wouldn't say its a scary horror at all. The tripwires were the only things that caught me off gaurd. I think it all depends on what you class as scary, I watch a horror most nights and my wife enjoys them more then I do now. TheRedKing
I think this game is great for non-Horror lovers. The enemies are based on reality, unlike in Bioshock, meaning they come at you from "natural" angles. There are no monsters, so all the jump scares are either insta-kills or defendable.
