Just like all of the other Lego games you will need two playthroughs in order to complete them. The first playthrough will be for completing the Story Mode, while the second one will be for finding all of the collectibles (Minikits, Gold Bricks & Red Bricks). Step 1: Completing the Story Mode There are a total of 15 story levels in the game with each lasting you around 20+ minutes if not longer to complete. As previous Lego games, these missions are not difficult. There may be some parts where you get stuck and become clueless on how to progress through the level. If that’s the case I suggest looking up a walkthrough on YouTube to guide you through the levels. Try not to worry too much about finishing the level with a “Super Hero” status. You will be able to get all of these easily on your second playthrough if you have cheats enabled. Also try not to focus on collecting all of the mini-kits on each of the levels. As you may know from playing previous Lego games, some Minikit collectibles are only found by using certain characters. You will be able to collect all of these on your second playthrough by using Free Play. Here's a list of all story-related achievements that cannot be missed. Theatrical Pursuits Harboring a Criminal Arkham Asylum Antics Dynamic Duo Asylum Assignment It's A Bird... It's A Plane... Chemical Crisis Chemical Signature Unwelcome Guests Destination Metropolis Research and Development Down to Earth Underground Retreat The Next President Core Instability Tower Defense Heroes Unite Step 2: Gotham City Free Roam + Collecting Gold/Red Bricks I highly suggest doing this before you start collecting all of the mini-kits in your second playthrough. Scattered around Gotham City will be Gold and Red Bricks, Citizens in need of help, unlockable characters, Lego vehicles that you’re allowed to drive and a handful of studs to collect. There are a total of 250 Gold Bricks in the game. These bricks are obtained by finishing story levels, saving citizens, finding all of them in a level and finding them throughout Gotham City. Some require you to get up to certain places in the city while using Batman or Robin’s special suits. These special suits can be found at the exact location where you will be finding each Gold Brick. On the other hand there are also Red Bricks that you can collect. If you have played previous Lego Games then you should have an idea of what they are. Each Red Brick contains a cheat that you can purchase and use in the game. Now is also a great time to start finding and unlocking the characters. Unlockable characters can be found throughout Gotham City with a red spotlight over them. I recommend first finding and unlocking The Joker, Riddler, and Lex Luthor since you need them in order to obtain all of the red bricks throughout Gotham City. I also recommend finding the x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10 character stud cheats before purchasing any other Red Bricks (cheats). Stud multipliers add up with each enabled so by having all of them enabled you will have an x3840 bonus. This will allow you to rack up a tremendous amount of studs and will allow you to purchase anything in the game. All cheats can be selected from the Extras Menu. After completing Step 2 you should have collected at least 200 Gold Bricks and have found at least 40 citizens. The rest of the Gold Bricks can be found by collecting all of the minikit figures and citizens in each level, which is what we will be doing in Step 3.Here's a list of the achievements you should have been able to collect during Step 2. Inferior Machines Test Hero Subway Hero Green Lantern's Light Halfway Through Extra! Extra! Kal-El Last Son of Krypton Super-Villain Gorilla Thriller Justice League The House of Luthor Step 3: Collecting the Minikits + Mop Up Now is the time to make your second playthrough of Story Mode in order to collect all of the Minikits. Each level can be replayed by entering the computer terminal inside the Batcave. Remember that you must select the Free Play option when choosing the level you want to play. You're also going to want to turn on the cheats "Gold Brick Finder" and "Peril Finder". This way you will be able to locate the citizens and minikit collectibles a lot easier. If you have been following the Roadmap then you should already have these cheats unlocked. You will also need to get a "Super Hero" status in each of these levels. If you turn on all of your stud multipliers then you shouldn't have a problem. Conclusion Lego Batman 2 is probably one of the most fun Lego games to date. Easy enough to complete while having tons of fun attempting to do so. Edited December 21, 2013 by Rep

If you have completed the game already then you should have Wonder Woman unlocked in order to use for this achievement. If you do not then you could free roam Gotham City and start unlocking the characters. Gorilla’s can be found in the cages at the Gotham Zoo, where you will need to use a remote terminal to open up the cage. Choose a girl character and jump onto the Gorilla by pressing . Now you’re going to want to set a marker at the Wayne Tower, which can be found at the south part of the map near the bottom of the bridge in the middle. It’s the tallest building in the game so it will be very hard to miss. Once you’re there, find a side of the building where it will let you climb up with the Gorilla. The achievement will unlock once you’ve reached the very top. Rep
Toy Gotham - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Complete the Bonus level The bonus level can be found in the Gotham Park of Gotham City, which is located in the center of your map. The bonus level will be shown by a large Gold Brick and will require 175 Gold Bricks in order to be opened. The objective in this bonus level is to reach one million studs by destroying everything that you can in the Lego world of Gotham. You will be allowed to use the following characters: Batman, Robin, The Penguin, Clark Kent, and Superman. There are quite a few tricky spots in this bonus level which could leave you clueless for hours, but I'm going to do my best to explain to you where they are and how to complete them. 1: In order to get Superman you will need to reach the third part of the bonus level, which is all the way to the right of the map. There will be a telephone booth as soon as you walk across the bridge. Simply walk into the booth with Clark Kent and you will be changed into Superman. 2: "Purple and dark blue statues, how do I destroy them???" - This may be the trickiest part of the level, but here's how to destroy them... You're first going to want to have access to Superman. Once you have him you will need to go to the middle part of the level near the green and purple paint pumps. There will be a small platform that is sticking out of the water. What you're going to want to do is fly up there with Superman and stand on the pole. The pole will start to go down and you will be allowed to drain the paint. You will notice the Joker's Mech coming out of the green paint. That is how you will be destroying the purple and dark blue statues at the end of the level. *Once you have used the Mech to bring up the Wayne Tower, fly up there with Superman and you will notice a couple of purple studs.* http://i.imgur.com/14suz.jpg 3: When you're riding the Metro to the other side of the level you will notice a few purple studs outside. There is a terminal to the right of the Metro that you will need to use in order for you to open the doors. You can also destroy the seats inside the metro for some extra studs! 4: You can destroy the Church! This will provide you with a tons of coins so make sure you do it! You will have to use Superman or Clark Kent in order to take it down. You can also use Batman's suit which has explosives to blow it up. Follow the video guide if you would like: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HChRTBEuZrU]Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes - Bonus Level Walkthrough (Tricky Parts) - YouTube[/ame] Justice League - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Unlock all Justice League characters (Single Player Only) (I recommend unlocking these characters after you have accumulated enough studs by using the multiplier bricks.) Most of these characters will be unlocked with progression of the story, while the others will need to be found throughout Gotham City. These unlockable characters can be located by pressing to scan your map. Their location is represented by the yellow, door looking objects. Some doors will require a certain amount of Gold Bricks in order for you to open them, and the characters will need to be bought in order for you to unlock them. Here's a list of the Justice Leagues characters that will need to be unlocked: Batman Superman Green Lantern Cyborg The Flash Wonder Woman Martian Manhunter Aquaman Dynamic Duo - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Play a level in co-op This must be played in Story Mode, Free Play will not work! Go ahead and plug in a second controller and press start whenever you are in the game. You do not need to have a friend with you to play since you can easily get this by yourself. Simply press start near the end of a mission and you will get the achievement after completion. You can “Drop Out” out of any game by pressing Start > Drop Out. My Hero- 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Rescue all Citizens in Peril (Single Player Only) There are a total of 50 citizens that need to be found throughout the game. Some are found by roaming around Gotham City while others are found during story levels. To be exact, 15 citizens can be found during Story levels(15 Levels), while the rest of them (35) can be found in Gotham City free roam. Each citizen will require a special character in order to rescue. I recommend attempting to save the citizens that are in story levels during your second playthrough. This way you will have all of the characters unlocked in order to rescue the citizens. An easy way to determine where a citizen is located is by using the cheat "Peril Finder". This is collected when searching for all of the red bricks in the game and could be very useful. Similar to the Minikit and Brick locators, the Peril Finder will bring up a purple arrow to show where each citizen is located throughout the levels and Gotham City. To determine which levels that you have already found a citizen in is by looking at your map. When going to select a story mission you will notice that there will be a face in the bottom-right hand of the screen. If the face has a happy smile then you have already found them in that level. If the face has a sad face then that means that you still need to rescue him in that level. Super Hero - 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Get Super Hero in all levels (Single Player Only) In order to get a "Super Hero" status in each level you will need to fill the bar at the top of the screen with yellow. Each stud you collect will keep increasing the bar. This is pretty easy by just playing the levels as long as you destroy everything, or it can be extremely easy by using the stud multipliers (x2, x4, x6, x8, x10). These multipliers can all be enabled at once and will turn into a x3840 bonus for each stud you collect. Stud Multiplier cheats are earned by finding and purchasing the Red Bricks in the game. Please click on "Cheat Codes" if you would like to see a list of cheats that can be used in the game. CHEAT CODES Team Building - 50 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Unlock all characters (Single Player Only) There are a total of 50 characters included in the game. Some will be unlocked via story completion, while others will need to be bought at various locations throughout Gotham City. Some characters can also be unlocked by using cheat codes. For a list of cheats codes in the game, please see the thread listed below. CHEAT CODES Unlockable characters are shown on the map as tiny, yellow doors and will require a certain amount of gold bricks in order to be opened. This will be one of your last achievements as the last character (Supergirl) is unlocked after you've reached 250 gold bricks. She will be found near the Gotham Park and will be the last door you will see on your map. Minikit Hero - 20 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.png Use all the Minikit vehicles There are 15 Minikit vehicles that you will need to use in order to unlock this achievement. Each vehicle is unlocked after collecting all of the minikits in a given level. There will be five land vehicles, five air vehicles, and five water/sea vehicles with each of them requiring you to be at certain computer terminals in order to have access. You will need to hop into each vehicle in order for the vehicle to be marked as "used". The achievement will unlock upon jumping it to the last vehicle. The achievement will unlock after you select “Use Current Character”. If you do not want to create a custom character, you can always bring up the character selection by holding , and choosing one of the custom characters silhouettes to the right or left of the menu. Red Bricks are the “cheats” in the game and will need to be opened with The Joker, Riddler, or Lex Luthor. They can be found by opening up your map and scanning the area. Each red circle on the map represents a red brick. Some will be hiding up on rooftops while other will be in corners on the ground and will require one of the listed characters above to be opened. Gold Bricks can be located by opening up your map and pressing to scan the area. Some are collected by using Batman or Robin to get up to the brick, while others will require you to save citizens and to complete vehicle checkpoints. Each citizen that you save will earn yourself one gold brick, which nets you 50 gold bricks in total for saving all of the citizens in the game. Gold Bricks are also earned by collecting all of the minikit figurines in a given level. Nozza
Nice one on getting this up so fast. I know it's WIP, but I noticed a few things, so I'll give you a heads up. Gorilla Thriller - It’s the tallest building in the game so it will be very hard to miss it. - Mistake. "So it WON'T be very hard to miss." Kal-El Last Son of Krypton - After you have unlocked Zod, switch to him by holding with one character, then switch to the other character and choose Green Lantern. Simply attack Zod with Superman until the achievement unlocks. - Confused by the Green Lantern part... Achievement is for Zod/Superman not GL. Combo Hero - Basically what you're gonna want to do is - Sorry, *going. Edited June 20, 2012 by Nozza

Rep
I currently have 940,810 studs and am at a loss for any ideas. Have a suggestion? The only thing I can suggest is to walk around and try to find some studs that you may have missed. I know there were a couple that I had missed that were hiding in some spots. 1: Did you fly up to the top of the Wayne Tower with Superman to pick up the two purple studs? 2: There are several blue studs all the way to the left of the map at the roller-coaster. They are wedged in between what is holding the tracks up. 3: Did you get the studs that are inside the metro? You can destroy lots of seats inside and also open the doors to get the purple ones. That's all I really know until we find out what the telescope does.

They are mostly silver studs. Have you took out the small building where you get Robin's acrobat suit at? You can destroy most of that building by using Superman's laser. BHTowler
Is there any significance to the wheelchair found after destroying the hospital? I figured there would be a trail of studs that would appear like the batmobile.

And did you get the ones that were outside the doors?

Rep
I have every stud in the metro, yes. Damn, I'm not sure then what else you would need. I know I played the level for at least an hour and had destroyed every thing possible. Just wondering, have you completely destroyed the small building next to the electrical unit (There are 3 small units to add electricity to)? I know you can take Superman and destroy some of the top part of the building. EDIT: The church can be destroyed, yes.

Rep
AH, wait! How can the church be destroyed? Try using Bruce Wayne's laser shit. I think that's how I did it.

Rep
That did it. So you surpassed 1 million? If so, great job. I guess I'll add the church part to the guide.

I also can't seem to find the gold brick that unlocks on top of the Botanical Gardens... It's an air race, I just don't know where it starts.
