Achievement Guide (Work in Progress)

Recommended Posts

Do it in 2 player local!

If u can do Ryu/Kens sweep-fireball move then this shouldnt take too long to do.

I wish I threw my camera on, I just unlocked it.

Will sort out the camera in the next few days and hopefully add some vids for combo ach. and defeating akuma ach.

For 'Training for Perfection,' apparently continuing doesn't reset your counter so in round 1, best of 5, you can get 2 perfects, lose 2 times, continue, then get 3 more perfects. seems helpful if you get a ridiculously lopsided match (fireball character vs zangief, honda vs zangief, any other character vs zangief)

First of all, thanks for taking the time to make a guide. :)

This may not be an amazing tip, but it helped me get the following achievement on my first attempt. Feel free to add it to your guide :)

Defeated an opponent in under 15 seconds in single player arcade mode.

To do this, set the game mode to "Easy" and select E.Honda as your character. As soon as the round starts just hold right (on your D-Pad or Analogue stick) and keep tapping the punch button. This will perform the "Hundred Hand Slap" move, and on easy the enemy barely blocks it (or does anything to be honest.. lol).

I imagine this tactic will also gain you the Training for Perfection achivement :) (I only had 5 mins in my lunchbreak to play the game so I haven't unlocked this myself yet).

This might help: Master Of All Things does NOT require 'Ranked Match'. Contrary to the description, you CAN get it in a closed Player Match. One important caveat, however: You have to do it in a single session. So no quitting out untill your player stats read '1' for wins in each line.

Anyone want to try this out with me?

Worth noting that the 100 wins online, and the master of all things achievement do not unlock if you are playing in classic mode! Both achievements must be gained in remix mode. :)

Are you sure about not being able to get 100 wins achievement in classic mode? I tried it with my boosting partner and we both got 20 wins achievement in classic. If we can get 20 why not 100?

You do not have to get the wins in one session for master of all things , I did it over 3 sessions and unlocked fine when i one with the 17th character.
