ll Mr Bubbles ll
i would assume so as if you choose chapter select your stuff carries, so after game completion you could just chapter select on insane diff.

Can you or anybody else comfirm that this will work? I remember the problem many people had with Crysis 2: There you had to start a new campaign for the difficulty achievements, chapter select hasn't worked for many. So has anybody already finished campaign on insane by chapter select an got the achievement?
bawrash
I noticed the ego bar carries over, all I can say is don't be an octo-pussy and start it over. Duke wins, fatality

If you choose chapter select you can keep all of your ego awards and still unlock the difficulty achievements, this also works with gunslinger as well. I have completed the game in Hard using the chapter select after my normal play through and everything unlocked fine.
