This is insane

Despite my great love for GTA V, I had never played San Andreas when I had a PS2 and when I found out I should've I thought it was too late. With achievements tied to this, and GTA V's next gen release right round the corner, Rockstar has reeled me right in. Can't wait to see what SA is all about! Another reason why 360 still has things going on too. XD

If it is remastered and with achievements then this will be perfect.

I remember getting it on release day on my PS2 and thinking how awesome planes and bicycles were :p

Of course i would have loved a remastered Manhunt on its anniversary a while ago even more but people will say the same for Vice City etc. Bring it on either way :D

Manhunt was so controversial that people just may look the other way from a remake :woop:

I will keep the hope. They did Bully and now this so there will be hope for Manhunt, The Warriors, GTA III and Vice City, those would be absolute dreams i don't care what the remake haters say. Heck even Red Dead Revolver though admittedly that is one i never played.

On topic though San Andreas will get me hooked again even with the busy months ahead in gaming.

It's seems like a humble reminder of the 10th anniversary but I'm ok with that, they should've done the same thing with GTA III or Vice City back in 2011.

I guess they did that already for iOS and Android devices around the end of 2011 and 2012, but yeah they would have been great to play on the 360. I think the original Xbox versions were backwards compatible on the 360 anyway, but I only played them on PS2.

I never got into San Andreas, it kinda bored me. Didn't like the atmosphere, or maybe it was too overwhelming at the time. I'm one of the people who'd rather buy Vice City again if it was rereleased on Xbox One. Then again I have it on PS2 and Steam anyway. But it'd be fun to earn some achievements for it.

Greatest GTA ever made! My PS2 Memory Card had a 700+ hours save on it. Played it EVERYDAY after work for almost a year. Greatest soundtrack of ALL time! K-DST.

Why bother saving after you've done everything considering save points were so out the way? Just have a save ready with every gun, house, plenty of money and play from that? Would save the time trying to get to a safe house when you needed to stop or go out lol

While I would buy and play this again even though I have the XBLA version (and PC etc etc) it's getting bit worrying about how many remakes are around right now.

Was trying to get 100 percent done. Never made it because spreading chaos was just so much fun and NEVER got old.

I have been hoping for this for years. Being able to play through all of San Andreas again while earning gamerscore is going to be a blast. Should take a lot longer than GTA V which took me about a month to get 100% completion in single player. I'm actually more excited for this now than my pre-order for X1 with Sunset Overdrive.

As someone who got 100% in GTA V and loved it, but really didn't like GTA IV, do you think I'd enjoy this game? I never played GTA until IV so I don't know what previous installments were like

Yes, I didn't like IV but love V and San Andreas. Just don't have high expectations for the graphics, everything else delivers though.

1. Three distinct cities and rural areas in between really makes the game have a lot of character.

2. Silly but fun side missions that make no sense in terms of the story (though Vice City having Tommy deliver pizzas is king here).

3. Being able to pig out at Cluckin' Bell and turn into a fatso or go to the gym to get buff.

These are a few of my favorite things! Can't wait.

I can't wait for this!

So many good memories of this game. I rememeber when it came out and I was working at a busy shop around christmas and would have to deal with customers moaning at me all day over the simplest of things and somehow I managed to keep my cool.

Until I got home and straight away turned on San Andreas and unleashed my pent up anger on those poor AI people.........Good times.

I'll probably get it if it comes out of X1.... hell, if it's 360 only I'll probably get it too. The only thing I'm worried about is finding out I'm remembering it better than it actually was.

I completed III, Vice City (Best soundtrack of the lot [i'm an early 80's kid] although I'll always love the original 'Da Shootaz - Grand Theft Auto' track, got it in my car!), and San Andreas and loved them all.

I tried III & Vice City on Android but hate the touch screen controls.
