The best one for this is the Land Mine,Try it In the campaign on "Tsavo Highway" against the Brute Chopper. Once you get passed the first part of the level to the point where you are at some huts there are some Marines that need your help.In one of the Huts there is two Land Mines grab one walk up the the Choppers weaken them by shooting then chuck down a Land Mine if you fail reload the check point and retry.

Advance to the Spartan Officer ranks (Online).(Rank Only)

Lieutenant is the first officer rank. You will need 70 EXP points and a skill rating of 10 in any gametype to get this rank.

(Note: You always keep your highest level, so if you get to say level 10 in Team Slayer, then de-rank to 9, your highest level for the military ranks will still be 10.)

Two for One 5 G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/DM/7O/0YCLiGJhbC9MCBt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzI4AAAAAOfn5-7hzhA=.jpg

Score a Double Kill with a single spartan laser shot in a ranked free for all playlist (Online).(Rank Only In The Lone Wolf Playlist)

Maps You can get this on: Construct, Snowbound and High Ground

Easiest way to get this is in "Oddball" on "Snowbound" because everyone will be rushing for the ball so go grab yourself the Spartan Laser and aim steady and hope for the best.

Kill 4 enemies within 4 seconds of one another in a ranked free for all playlist (Online).(Rank Only In The Lone Wolf Playlist)

Maps You can get this on: All Ranked Free For All Maps

Now this can be tricky because 4 kills within 4 seconds of each other sounds easy but you do need the people to be there for it to work. So hope for "King of the Hill", "Mosh Pit" and "Oddball" because everyone will be rushing the same spot. Its all about time and luck the easiest level to do this on would be "Narrows" with "King of the Hill" because the rockets are right in the middle and the first hill spot in in the middle as well.

Kill 10 enemies without dying in any ranked free for all playlist (Online).(Rank Only In The Lone Wolf Playlist)

Maps You can get this on: All Ranked Free For All Maps

This is a little tough try to hang back in most game types and use a BR, Carbine and Sniper work best with "King of the Hill" in The Pit and don't forget to use grenades.

Steppin' Razor 5 G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/At/rp/0oCLiGJhbC9DCBt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzI3AAAAAOfn5-3G2h4=.jpg

Score a Triple Kill with the sword in a ranked free for all playlist (Online).(Rank Only In The Lone Wolf Playlist)

Maps You can get this on: Construct And The Pit

This one is a little hard to get the best way to get this is on "The Pit" on "King of the Hill" and "Mosh Pit" Grab the sword and don't go in the hill wait out side it to pick people off.

(Note: all three kills must be with the sword and not with any other weapon)

Mongoose Mowdown 5 G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/nz/Yu/0ICLiGJhbC9NCBt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzI5AAAAAOfn5-8BNoM=.jpg

Splatter an enemy with the mongoose in a ranked free for all playlist (Online).(Rank Only In The Lone Wolf Playlist)

Maps You can get this on: Isolation and High Ground

To do this you will need the Mongoose going at full speed so try to get this going downhill on "Highground" and watch out for people fighting you might catch a guy with no shield to get this off.

Up Close and Personal 5 G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Xt/uQ/04CLiGJhbC81CBt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzJBAAAAAOfn5-y-20I=.jpg

Kill 5 enemies by melee or assassination in a ranked free for all playlist (Online).(Rank Only In The Lone Wolf Playlist)

Maps You can get this on: All Ranked Free For All Maps

Simple grab a Mauler or Plasma Pistol take of their shields and punch them in the face to be honest most of the time you get around 4 - 7 Melee kills in a fight anyway so not much work required here.

MVP 5 G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Tj/hq/1YCLiGJhbC9HCBt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzIzAAAAAOfn5-pFOFI=.jpg

Earn the MVP in any ranked playlist (Online).(Rank Only)

Maps You can get this on: All Ranked Maps

Best way to get this is in a Team Objective game type ether "Capture the Flag" or "Bomb" games. Just be the guy to plant the bomb or steal the flag and score it. 9/10 if you do this you will get the achievement just from doing this.

Maybe Next Time Buddy 5 G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/uc/jE/0YCLiGJhbC9ECRt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzMwAAAAAOfn5-7ryKU=.jpg

Board the same vehicle within 10 seconds after being boarded in any free for all playlist (Online).(Ranked and Player Match In Rumble Pit or the Lone Wolf Playlist's)

Maps You can get this on: Isolation, High Ground And Snowbound

This is tricky but because you can do it in no ranked you can get a friend to help. But otherwise its all about timing get a ghost and get close to a guy to let him board you and hold "RB" and try and face the ghost if you do it quick enough you will board the Ghost and get you achievement.

Right Ive covered the enemy's now for the skulls. Each skull has its own Multiplier Value that adds to you point out come more skulls activated = more points (Silver skulls don't give points there just for fun)

(Format layout

Name

Effect Information/Multiplier Value

My Views)

Iron

Co-op reverts to previous checkpoint on player death. Solo restarts mission.Multiplier 3.0X

this is a pain but with 3X the points its still not worth it

Blackeye

Shields don't recharge except from melee attacking enemies.Multiplier 1.5X

this is fun but i don't recommend it unless you think you some big tuff hero

Tough Luck

Enemies always make every saving throw, always berserk, always dive, never flee…Multiplier 1.5X

this is fun to have on because you have to try and aim plus its easy points

Catch

Enemies are grenade happy.Multiplier 1.5X

Simple more grenades = more grenades dropped = more kills for you easy points

Fog

You do not have a motion sensor.Multiplier 1.5X

you have eyes so do you really need a motion sensor if you don't this is easy points

Famine

Weapons drop 50% less ammo.Multiplier 2.0X

this adds skill to the game and with a nice multiplier i recommend you have this one turn on

Thunderstorm

Major upgrade to all enemies.Multiplier 1.5X

makes them hard to kill good fun really and easy points

Tilt

Damage is modified.Multiplier 2.0X

this is a pain makes them immune to what they where resistant to so i don't recommend you turn this thing on

Mythic

Double enemy health.Multiplier 2.0X

gives them double health making them harder to kill but still easy points if you have it on

Blind

HUD and first person arms and weapon are hidden.Multiplier 0.0X

this is worse then fog you wont see anything shield weapons ammo don't recommend you have on at all

Cowbell

Acceleration scale from explosions is increased.Multiplier 0.0X

makes explosions bigger for them not you this ones up too you

Grunt Birthday Party

Grunts explode like piñatas if they are killed with a headshot.Multiplier 0.0X

this is a laugh have it on just for fun

I Would Have Been Your Daddy

You’ll hear things you never knew existed.Multiplier 0.0X

this is a laugh just listen to some of the things said i recommend you have it on just for fun

Right Ive done the enemy's and the skulls now for the levels. Now each level you need a different amount off points in which is based on level size and amount of enemy's in the level.Now you can get points in the level by killing enemy's and beating it under a set time or difficulty

This is how the point multiplier is effected by difficulties.

Easy 0.25X

Normal 1.0X

Heroic 2.0X

Legendary 4.0X

So if you kill a grunt on normal you get 10 points but if you kill it on legendary you get 40 point which is a big difference

Now time effects the out come too if you complete it faster you get more points the multiplier starts off with 3.0X and goes down look

Start 3.0X

2.5X

2.0X

1.5X

Finish 1.0X (which is zero time bonus).

Right now thats get down to scoring with style It’s not just enough to shoot, Beatdown and Assassinate a enemy. You have to do it with style to get the big points. All style-based multipliers will get you a nice 1.25X increased point multiplier when you get a kill.

Here are all of different killing styles that will earn bonus points during your quest to Finish The Fight!!!:

Grenade Stick

Stick an enemy with a plasma or brute spike grenade to get a 1.25X point bonus. So remember that grunt i mentioned earlier, who is worth 10 points for killing on Normal, well he would actually get you around 12.5 - 15 points if you stuck him with a plasma or brute spike grenade in the same level.

Headshot

Take your time and aim well and you will get rewarded for it. All enemies will give you a more points if you kill them with a headshot instead of just shooting like the shots don't count instead aim and make them count!. Headshots will give you a 1.25X multiplier to the point value for any enemy killed with a headshot.

Stealth Kill

Sneak up and attack an enemy from behind to earn a Stealth medal as well as a 1.25X point multiplier for the killed enemy.

Road Kill

Splatter the enemy and you will get 1.25X on top of the points you’d normally get for just shooting them to death.

Multi-Kill

Killing a 3+ enemies in a row will give you a bonus point multiplier. A multi-kill is stated as killing at least 3 enemies within 1.5 seconds of each other. Successfully doing this will get you 1.25X on top of the normal points you would get for killing each enemy group.

Needler-Superdetonation

The Needler finally becomes the "Noob" weapon Bungie wanted it to be in Halo 3. If you can get around 8 - 10 needles into an enemy ,You will get the “superdetonation” which explodes and sends their dead body flying. Doing this will get you a 1.25X point multiplier.

"EMP"

Halo 2 veterans should remember the “noob combo” right? if not a "noob combo" was using a plasma pistol full charged to drop a enemy's shields and then to switch to a BR get a headshot for instant kill. You can use this against the Brutes throughout the campaign and it’s Very useful!!!. If you hit an enemy with a charged plasma pistol and then get the finishing shot off within around 3 seconds you’ll get a 1.25X point bonus.

Now i have two things left to cover one is

Penalty Points

If you die (which could happen a lot depending on which difficulty setting you have it on and skull settings) you will LOSE points!!!!. The base penalty for dying is -25 points for each death. This value will get increased based on your difficulty setting. So every time you die when playing Legendary will cost you 100 points. If you betray one of your teammates you will also get a point penalty. The baseline value on Normal for a betrayal is -50 points. So please watch where you are shooting guy and girls.

Now for the last thing

My Recommendations

Now the best way to do this for the achievements is on normal in Co-op with one other player and setting the scoring to Free For All so you know what you are scoring. Now heres the good part turning on some skull's i had these skull's on Tough Luck, Catch, Fog, Famine, Thunderstorm and Mythic for points and Grunts Birthday Party and IWHBYD for laughs. Now start up the match and the person who's going for the achievement does all the work while the other guy stays back and Be the respawn point. Don't worry about time just go for kills with them skulls on i managed to get double the amount of points each level needed and bagged myself the achievements. well i hope this helps and good luck guys and girls

Skulls: Locations and Help

This list is complete. thanks to "TheCapester", "HoldXToTrick" and "seejaylaugh"on YouTube for the videos.

Note No:1: There are 14 skulls, but only 9 Of these give achievements. All extra skulls will be listed at the bottom.

Note No:2: You must start the levels from the beginning or the skull will not appear, do not select a checkpoint.

Note No:3: You can only get these on Normal, Heroic or Legendary.(so sorry for those who can only just manage easy )

Note No:4: You can get these in co-op and the achievements will unlock for everyone playing.(Note: all the silver skulls must be picked up by all party members in co-op)

Note No:5: There is one gold skull(achievement skull) per level but there might be a silver skull(non-achievement skull) as well

Note No:6: this is what you list should look like when you have all the skulls

Note No:7: Click the name of the skulls for video links

GOLD ACHIEVEMENT SKULLS. 1ST TWO ROWS

[iRON] [bLACK EYE] [TOUGH LUCK] [CATCH] [FOG]

[FAMINE] [THUNDERSTORM] [TILT] [MYTHIC]

SILVER NO ACHIEVEMENT SKULLS. 3RD ROW

[bLIND] [COWBELL] [GRUNT BIRTHDAY PARTY] [iWHBYD]

Achievement Skulls A.K.A Gold Skull

Iron

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kiLnYz3XEA]Iron[/ame]

Mission: Sierra 117

Effect: "Death carries a heavy price..."

Instead of only losing 25 points when you die, you lose 75. You also restart from the beginning instead of any checkpoint.(Note: the point lose applies only for Meta games.)

Before or After Freeing Johnson walk to the Pelican that comes to pick you up. Face the cargo bay would be, turn left and follow the path. Once you hit the wall jump up to your right, eventually reaching a walkway. Walk all the way to the end, take a left, then a right, then at the end of this little bit to the right is a dark corner. Turn your light on and you should see the skull. If you cant see it you're probably standing on it.

Black Eye

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_c26mUxMEY]Black Eye[/ame]

Mission: Crow's Nest

Effect: "Bash your way to better health."

Your shield will not auto-recharge anymore, you have to kill an enemy with a melee attack.

From the start without moving anything you can see a massive pipe above you. Walk up the stairs then up the next set, turn to your left and jump up on the shelf unit. From there jump to the red cross beam then up onto the pipe, from there just walk to the end and walk over the Black Eye skull to claim it. You don't have to pick this one up it does it automatically.

Tough Luck

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2U1lcpnyyE]Tough Luck[/ame]

Mission: Tsavo Highway

Effect: "Your foes always make every saving throw."

Enemies seem to avoid rockets, melee, splats and grenades easily.

After you have to deactivate a shield that's blocking the road, you will exit onto a bridge and a giant covenant ship flies overhead. You need to get out of your jeep if you are in one and go to the right side of the bridge, then go underneath and you will see bridge supports jutting out into the canyon. Jump onto the one farthest to the left and go to the edge and turn left and you'll see a small jut out of the cliff with the skull on it.

Catch

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdmawJhMAWY]Catch[/ame]

Mission: The Storm

Effect: "Pull pin. Count to three. Throw."

Every NPC carries more grenades and throws them often.

You can get this by performing a grenade jump or crouch jump off a warthog, or grab a ghost and go back to the ramp from which you first came out, using the ghost to push a big square crate back over to the front of the silo pod that the skull is on top of, then use the box as a place to grenade jump or crouch jump from.

(Note: Catch wont appear unless you destroy the Anti-Air craft Wraith but destroying the second wraith makes this skull disappear.)

Fog

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nypmB5s60p0]Fog[/ame]

Mission: Floodgate

Effect: "You’ll miss those eyes in the back of your head."

Your motion sensor disappears.

As you are walking down from the anti-air gun you destroyed in the previous mission, you encounter a ramp. Around this ramp, you hit a checkpoint. At this point, you should also hear a marine yelling over The Intercom. Look up and to the right, directly at the roof of the building next to the right of you. There is a single flood form which is holding the skull. Kill him before he jumps, and he will drop the skull down to the ground where you can retrieve it. Too early, and the skull will get stuck on the roof though, so just time it carefully.

Famine

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYonzM2n9C8]Famine[/ame]

Mission: The Ark

Effect: "Trust us. Bring a magazine."

Dropped weapons will have very little ammo compared to normal.

When you first go into the valley to the right after the wrecked phantom, look to your left where you will see a huge boulder. Use a ghost and get to the side of the boulder that is closest to the bridge overhead. It is easy to pilot the ghost up the side of the wall using the thrust. To get the skull, pilot 2 ghosts up the wall to the top of the bridge and stack them one on top of another next to the beam where the skull is placed. Simply jump from the top of the ghosts towards the skull and land on the beam or play co-op and use a friends head(i did it this way first time).

Thunderstorm

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCMi4Ck2ZbQ]Thunderstorm[/ame]

Mission: The Covenant

Effect: "Field promotions for everyone!"

Upgrades enemies to their stronger versions.

After you shut down tower 1 and get access to the hornet, fly to tower 2 (the one the arbiter shut down). While walking up the ramps, go to the middle part that connects both and there should be a ramp leading up to a platform where the skull is.

Tilt

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cvuy35geO9o]Tilt[/ame]

Mission: Cortana

Effect: "???"

Enemies have different body parts that may be resistance to certain bullet types.

After you see a dead Elite with a sword on the ground, you will fall through a fleshy hole. You should be in a large room with a bunch of purple machinery. In the middle is a small purple pedestal with an arrow on it, pointing up. Jump on this, then look up to the left and jump on the rock formation. Look up and left again, then jump to that. Walk across the thin bridge and the skull will be on the ground here.

Mythic

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZIVQettoGs]Mythic[/ame]

Mission: Halo

Effect: "Coverage under the Covenant health plan."

Gives a 2x score multiplier for all kills and doubles enemies health.(Note: 2x score multiplier applies only for Meta games.)

Follow the normal path till you reach the first cave/tunnel, then hug the right wall until it branches off into a small path, at the end of this path is some rubble and in front is the skull.

Non-Achievement Skulls A.K.A Silver Skulls

Blind

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4lgi42ruOk]Blind[/ame]

Mission: Sierra 117

Effect: "Shoot from the hip."

Your HUD disappears and you have no crosshair, health bar or anything.

After fighting the first set of enemies, walk downstream while hugging the right wall and eventually you will come to the edge of the cliff. There will be a bit of land jutting out below you with the skull on it.

Grunt Birthday Party

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxWU-cZshBg]Grunt Birthday Party[/ame]

Mission: Crow's Nest

Effect: "Light a match..."

When you kill a grunt, they explode into confetti and children yell, "Yay!"

The second time Cortana interrupts you saying "You have been called upon to serve" you are in the right place, so walk to the end of this path but don't jump off the end. Instead look down and you can see a green arrow, try landing on that ledge, then turn around to see the skull.

Cowbell

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZvYELDZJ4w]Cowbell[/ame]

Mission: The Ark

Effect: "More bang for your buck."

Explosive force increased.

After you defeat the scarab, head to the structure in the middle of the area. It's the building with a round front and a sloped back. Grab the Grav-lift item that should be inside. Next proceed through the level and inside. Go past the sleeping grunts and continue past the next set of enemies. You should come to a room with lots of purple glass and a sloped walkway going down. Halfway through the room, at the bend, you'll see some platforms stacked above each other. The skull is at the top level. Go back to the door you entered from and turn around. Look down to see some small lights (dots) on the floor. Place the grav-lift against the right wall on the third light(dot). Now start at the door, run toward the highest platform with the skull, and jump just before the floor starts to slope down and use the grav-lift to propel you up and forward. You should just have enough height to reach the top platform.

IWHBYD A.K.A I Would Have Been Your Daddy

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTTGOWqkTWo]IWHBYD A.K.A I Would Have Been Your Daddy[/ame]

Mission: The Covenant

Effect: "But the dog beat me over the fence."

Unlocks hidden dialogue during the campaign noticeable in movie footage.

After killing the prophet truth, kill all the flood in the area but go not go down the elevator at the end. There will be 7 holographic rings that you need to jump through. Jump through them in this order to spawn the skull. Ring 1 is near the elevator with ring 7 being near where you killed Truth. The skull will spawn at the bridge before the prophets platform.

4 6 5 4 5 3 4 (tested and working if you need help feel free to message me.)

Unknown Skull A.K.A The Second Blind Skull

Unknown Skull A.K.A The Second Blind Skull Vid Link

Mission: Cortana

Effect: "Shoot from the hip."

Your HUD disappears and you have no crosshair, health bar or anything.(Note: if you carry this to the end of the level when you start the next level Halo you will have a Spartan Laser.)

The Unknown Skull can be found in the room with the 3 generators you must destroy. The skull is on the ceiling of this room just above the door where you leave after destroying the generators.To get this skull the from where you came in the first time look to your left and on the purple boxes then look left again and you will see some metal sticking out jump on that and make you way up.From here take a left walk around until you see it.

Terminal: Locations and Help

This list is complete. There are 8 terminals. There are only 7 terminals for this achievement.

Note No:1: You have to wait for the screen to flash up with red writing and then it goes to the next section of writing. then read until it say the "Fragment Ends" message. Then game registers that you've got the terminal. Sometimes there are exceptions and they wont say "Fragment Ends" just read until you cant read anymore.

Note #2: These can be done in any order and you do not have to finish the level. But you do need to do them all on the same difficulty you can not do one on normal then the rest on legendary. Access the terminal, wait for the end message, then you can save and quit the level.

Note #3: This can be done on Easy, Normal, Heroic or Legendary. I recommend you it on Normal that way you get all terminals and all the skulls at the same time. You must start from the beginning of the level for them to count.

The Ark: Terminal 1 - 3

No:1: Start the mission make you way past the Anti-Air Craft gun and up the cliff side walkway. Once you enter the first Door take a left into another door and now you should be in a curved corridor. On the inside of the curve is a Terminal.

No:2: Once you get inside the Big Wall Looking Building you need to activating a bridge to let your men and vehicles across the gap, after that do a 180* turn and you should see it. (Note:it does not open until you activate the bridge)

No:3: In the third building after defeating the scarab, kill the group of sleeping Covenent and the Brute, then follow the corridor down wards. Once you reach a door in front that is locked, immediately on the left there's an open door. Go through and walk straight off, then do a 180* Turn to find another Door to another room It is in there.

The Covenant: Terminal 4 - 6

No:1: When in the first tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn left. Jump over and it's right there you cant miss it.

No:2: Land your hornet on the second tower, walk towards the entrance but when you see the locked door, do a 180* turn it should be right in front of you.

No:3: Same as the first tower. when in the third tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn right. Jump over and it's right there you cant miss it.

Halo: Terminal 7

No:1: After reaching the end of the first cave past where the Mythic skull is, hug the right wall and you will see a building. Jump up onto the Beam and turn left once inside. It's right in front of you.

Cortana: Terminal 8 ***not needed for the achievement***

This located on the basement floor of the room with the “Tilt Skull” in it. At the very bottom of this room, there is a Gravity Hammer leaning against a stand. This stand is a Terminal (although it does not look like the other terminals in the game, it simply looks like a beam of light).

When accessing the Terminal, Cortana will take over your HUD with a brief message, and give a reference to the Halo Novel “The Fall of Reach”,

If you have the IWHBYD skull when you access the different terminals you might see extra content. Also if you play on different difficulties they some times also have different content. Try a mix of both. (Note: does not work for the Terminal on cortana.)

Double Double 25G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/Zt/Kn/14CLiGJhbC9BCRt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzM1AAAAAOfn5-iI0no=.jpg

On a Legendary map, got two Double Kills during a ranked or social match.

You need to Earn 2 Double kills in one match. Best Levels for this are Ghost Town in FFA and Avalanche in BTB. In Ghost town try to look for too people fighter and jump in to finish them off if it helps pick up a power weapon like a Rocket. Now in Avalanche the best thing to do is use power weapons like the Rocket and Spartan Laser. if you have ether of these just wait around the Centre of the map of the bases as you'll most likely get two people driving around in a warthog so its an easy double kill. (Can also be done on the Mythic Maps)

Alas, Poor Yorick 25G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/09/uG/1YCLiGJhbC9CCRt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzM2AAAAAOfn5-qp288=.jpg

On a Legendary map, get 3 Oddball melee kills during any ranked or social match.

You need to Earn 3 Beatdowns kills while holding the ball in one match. Best Levels for this are Ghost Town in FFA and Black Out in FFA. Once you pick up the ball just try to run in a small room/Area wait for the people to come get you and beat them in the face with the ball. Once you find one of these match's its really easy to do. (Can also be done on the Mythic Maps)

Came… From… Behind 50G

http://tiles.xbox.com/tiles/QC/Nm/1ICLiGJhbC9DCRt0GltTVkU2L2FjaC8wLzM3AAAAAOfn5-tJI1w=.jpg

On a Legendary map, got 3 assassinations during a ranked or social match. This is a Fairly easy achievement to get in BTB on Avalanche in a CTF Game just hang around to base wait for someone to try and grab the Flag and Assassinate them. but other then that in any of the 3 Legendary Maps just try to use stealth and sneak around you should be able to get this pretty quick. (Can also be done on the Mythic Maps)

All i'm saying is.. if you were gonna make this... you should have made it about 8 months ago
